TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 40 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THE FUEL PUMP AND CAM SHAFT WERE REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE LATER RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000.

Horrible oil consumption issue. Piston rings are bad and the car doesn’t have that many miles. A huge issue with the equinox.
