Mercedes benz knows that their car door paneling has a defective problem and will fall off. They are ignoring my concern and refuse to pay for it. I last week I called 800-367-6372 and spoke with a live mb representative via the phone regarding case number: 2-2940129122. Today, 12/30/2019, customer advocate manager, darrell with no last name called me from phone 800-367-6372 ext 4632 and advised that he could not assist. Executive referral manager: service manager case number: 2-2940129122 phone: 800-367-6372 ext 4632 I am very concerned as both of the doors on my coupe are having the trim to come off of the car. This is a known defect with the car door panel clips. Darrel admitted that he is aware of the issue, but lacked the authority do anything about the issue. I realize that the car I
This is in regard to E350 2010. Gas smell after tank fill up (only when full). Fuel pump cover on the driver side under the back seat. The tank cover (plastic) breaks and leaks. Similar problem was noted on previous models (2009) and recall was issued. [XXX] Very hazardous (Flammable and combustible) and the dealer stated that it is a common problem. I removed the back seat and is gasoline leaking and accumulating above the cover. Similar problem occurred on the cover on the right side and was replaced. The plastic cover on both sides breaks and leaks gasoline into the car. Should be recalled and replaced. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

During maintenance check, mechanic indicated rust on the rear subframe that can lead to failure. Failure on this car would cause a puncture of the fuel tank due to car design. Upon further research, this is a well known issue with MB and is covered as a recall in all countries other than the US. Please encourage Mercedes Benz to do the right thing and issue a recall for this defective component, to avoid serious accidents.
The subframe on the back of the car starts to rust and potentially just breaks without warning which can cause loss of control of vehicle. This is an ongoing issue for all w212 Mercedes models.
brakes 1 complaint shown
I procured the vehicles 32,000 miles as a cpo. It had new brake rotors on it. Over the next 75,000 miles the brake rotors had to be replaced 7 times for warping and dangerously increasing stopping distances. This apparently not unusual for this vehicle.

The electronic key fails to recognize key. Vehicle does not start, does not turn off once started, and transmission shifts to park (p) at speeds below 6mph. This occured while driving into driveway at shopping center, parking spot, and multiple times in restraunt parking lot. It also occured at a stop sign ans stop light. The start stop issue has been occuring for at least one year, despite dealer service and the shift to park issue began a few weeks back.

tires 1 complaint shown
I bought the Mercedes e350 2010 model on october of 2010 and about nov 30, my left side tire is bust open secondary to pot hole gravel, the incidence is very scary, all the sudden car is I full stop and lean to the left side. I have to change the tire and went to the Mercedes dealer and other tires shop for repair. Then I was heard this combination of tires 245/40 r18 97v which is rim is 18 inches and tires thickness in the side are to thin which make easily rupture with slight contact of any sharp. I am feeling of insecurity for flat tires anytime even I bought the newest model luxury car. I would like NHTSA for look into the dangerous combination of tires and rim for safety of all drivers in the road. *tr
powertrain 1 complaint shown
Faulty valve body on a car with less than 50k miles. Car has been maintained as per dealer recommendations. Transmission fluid had been recently changed 4 months prior. Transition failed in a life threatening manner while driving on a highway. Total loss of control of driving capabilities. Problem resulted in a total of $5585.29 in a rebuilt transmission and new valve body. Upon researching this seems to be a reoccurring issue with the 722.9 transmission. A recall should be issued.
lighting 1 complaint shown
The turn signal lever and cruise control lever are too close together and dangerous. Activated cruise control too many times in error. Not good engineering. To correct it they can take out the current cruise lever and put in a shot stubby one or extend the turn signal lever which would be harder as it controls the w/s wipers also. It can be corrected and needs immediate attention. Going to result in a serious problem from accidents. Needs immediate attention!!!!recall necessary. When it happens car speeds up!!!!!!!!!!!!! *tr
engine 1 complaint shown
The vehicle has only 50k miles. I am the only owner and I purchased the vehicle in 2010 (new) with only 9 miles. I have completed all required services to date. In may I had the ab service complete and the check engine light was on. I was told it was likely due to the need of having the spark plugs change based on time not mileage. Now I am being told the outcome of the check engine light on is due to a misfire code for cylinder one, failed sds compression test. Cylinder one failed cylinder leak down test at 80%. Exhaust valve seats failing causing exhaust valves not to fully close. We are unable to repair the valve seat on cylinder head and it is necessary to replace passenger side cylinder head. Only camshafts and cam adjusters can be transferred. New head will come with new valves.
