On 12-2-19 at 730am eastern time, I was involved in a 55 MPH side impact crash to the right side of the vehicle by a semi truck on interstate 475 north in toledo, ohio, mile marker 10, near holland, ohio. No side impact airbags deployed. Vehicle is in 100% excellent maintained condition. No fault codes. Vehicle structure maintained very well for a highway speed crash, however, I have a concussion from the side impact and no airbag deployment. Car was totalled by the semi truck insurance company that struck me.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 Cadillac cts-v. While operating the vehicle, the passenger side air bag indicator remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to rick hendrick city Chevrolet (5101 east independence blvd, charlotte, nc) where it was diagnosed that the passenger side air bag sensor located inside the seat was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed by the dealer that the part needed to repair the vehicle had been discontinued. The manufacturer was notified and no solution was offered. The failure mileage was 101,000.

While driving the vehicle the passenger seatbelt light comes on with or without a passenger being present. I took vehicle to the dealer and was told the passenger detection module was going out and when the seat belt light comes on the passenger side air bags are disabled meaning the airbags will not function if I were to get into an accident....I was also told that this module is necessary because the module detects the weight of the person to determine if the person weighs enough to deploy the airbags...if airbags are a requirement should them working also be a requirement.....I was that not enough people have complained for NHTSA to issues a recall. That's like saying not enough people have died to fix the problem.

My air bag light is on. I brought it to the dealer for repair. The dealer told me the airbag is unfixable due to the fact that the "Passenger seat presence sensor is broken and no longer manufactured". I now have a car that is fully functional aside from this issue and it's unsafe to drive. The dealer also refused to buy the car back from me for fair market value.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 Cadillac cts. While driving 35 MPH, the brakes malfunctioned. When the brake pedal was depressed, the vehicle failed to stop and rear ended another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was towed to an unknown location. Bentley Cadillac in florence, alabama 35630 was made aware of the crash and stated that an inspector would inspect the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and stated that there was no recall for the brakes or the air bags. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.

The airbag indicator has come on. I own two Cadillac vehicles and coincidentally the escalade has an airbag recall and, the same indicator light has illuminated on both vehicles. I am concerned that this recall is a potential hazard. We live in florida where it's hot, so we constantly drive in the sun. For the recall to be unresolved and now both indicators for airbags are illuminated I believe that this may be apart of this takata issue. I purchased a new 2011 Cadillac cts coupe. It continuously makes a groaning sound which appears to be coming from the rear part of the drive train. The dealer changed the differential fluid to correct the problem. However, the problem remains. I believe this sound is produced by a defective component in the drive train (differential, bearings etc.), which will ultimately lead to a component failure that can cause a serious accident. *tr

Vehicle enters a mode at random that abruptly reduces and inhibits or stops the ability to accelerate. In certain situations this can cause dangerous conditions that can lead to accidents. As in my case, I was inmost struck by several vehicles because of the loss of acceleration and forward momentum as I initiated a turn at an intersection from one major artery onto another during rush hour traffic driving conditions. This hazardous and dangerous situation would not have existed of not for the sudden loss of power and acceleration by the vehicle entering this mode. On another instance at highway speed while attempting to change lanes to overtake a vehicle, the car entered this same mode, and was also almost struck because of the sudden deceleration and loss of power. We took our car to an authorized gm dealer on sept. 14 at which time they ordered a replacement part (#34106) which gm has yet to supply as of this date, nov. 20, 2014. In 2014 gm issued a recall on the supersharger for the 2010 to 2015 Cadillac cts v and the cameo zr1 I didn't receive any notice about it. I am registered on the gm recall site I just found out about the recall now I am having the issue I called gm and there saying my car is out of mileage but it wasn't in 2014 and I only let the dealer work on it and they didn't say anything and when I spoke to gm she couldn't find any proof they notified me about the recall how can I get them to repair my car under the recall like they should have?my attorney said try to get your help first because you can make them comply I would appreciate a speedy response to if you can help me thank you.

After a 45 minute drive and returning home I parked my car on the street in front of my home. The car drove perfectly normal as always and there was no indication of anything wrong with the car. There were no warning lights or anything else to indicate a problem with the car. I entered my house and as I walked pasted my kitchen window I could see flames coming out from under the hood on the driver side of the vehicle it was only a couple of minutes since from the time I entered my house. Within 5 minutes the entire car was engulfed with flames. After the fire department extinguished then fire I asked what could have cause the fire. I was told it was probably an electrical or a fuel malfunction.

Vehicle stalled or tried to stall in traffic while in motion at approximate speeds of 25-35 MPH approximately 10 times over a distance of approximately 6-8 miles. Was towed to dealer. On 10-18-11 service advisor called me and advised complaint could not be duplicated and had performed normally during a test drive (approximately 1 mile) and vehicle could be picked up. Vehicle was picked up and performed normally for approximately 10 miles and then stalled twice while in motion in traffic at speeds of approximately 25-35 MPH. Vehicle again was towed to same dealer. On 10-21-11 I was advised problem was experienced during a test drive of approximately 15 miles. Vehicle remains at dealership pending a solution to problem. *tr

My husband was driving in our community, about 15 MPH. He made a right hand turn and the control arm snapped in half, the wheel broke off and the frame came crashing to the ground. We have owned the car for less than 3 weeks. Aaa towed the car to the nearest dealership. The dealership refuses to fix the car under the manufacturer's warranty claiming that the car had to have been in an accident. We have neighbors who heard the thud and came to see what happened. There was no accident/collision. We have driven the car a couple hundred miles. This shouldn't have happened. Cadillac told us we needed to file a claim with our insurance company. The dealership estimates $12,000 in damage. *tr
