My husband and myself purchased our 2011 Dodge journey rt 2 yrs ago and was sold on how great this truck was. Since then we have changed the rotors and brakes 6 times. We had our tires changed due to shaking while braking but the problem still existed. So the tires were not the problem. Recently 2 days ago my husband was driiving with my children in the truck and could not stop the truck due to the brakes. He pushed the brakes literally all the way to the floor and hardly stopped. My truck is now in a tow yard and luckily my husband and kids are safe. There is definite problem with these trucks and something need to be done before someone is seriously hurt. Break calipers lock up when driving. They have been replaced and continue to do this

My car has 132k miles and I'm replacing the brakes on the front for 8th time and the back for the 3rd time. Can't seem to get more than 15-20k miles out of a set of pads and rotors. Last two times I needed service the brake calipers had seized shredding the fairly new rotors which were so hot that I feared the car would catch on fire.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 Dodge journey. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle, he began to engage the brakes and the steering wheel began to shake violently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection and stated that the calipers were too small and it would heat up the rotors. As a result, the calipers and rotors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 2000.

There are many many as in huge multiple complaints of this journey vehicle not starting because keeping a charge. We have had to buy and have dealer install three batteries in the last four years. Found one problem, leaving a cd in the player causes the battery to drain. Cannot find any other. Please help.

Vehicle has repeatedly had problems starting after driving for any length of time. It will start cold, no problem. Battery and starter all checked and tested as good. It is believed to be due to a bad ground connection, but not 100% sure. My wife and children have been stranded several times due to this issue. Many times, the vehicle will have to be turned off for at least 30 minutes (sometimes up to 2 hours) before it will start.

Power steering hose ruptured while vehicle was parked and running in very cold temp

The car has been shaking for a few months now, worse when braking. Twice now, we have had to stop abruptly and the front brakes did not work correctly. Once it did cause a minor accident. There is a loud grinding sound from the front wheel area and poor stopping and the steering wheel shakes. It has been to the dealer four times now for the same complaints. They replaced the rear rotors for some reason. Now they are replacing the front rotors. The dealer claimed there have been no reports of braking/steering problems for this year/model so they do not know what to do. The problem is much worse at interstate speeds of 60+. The dealer service center also advised us that after 12000 miles, the rotors/brakes/etc will not be covered by warranty although it has been a noticeable issue since w

No heat on passenger side of vehicle dealer states heater core plugged needs replacing at over $1000.

My 2011 Dodge journey on the driver side heat blows hot on the passage side it blows code. This happen when driving or when it's started to warm up the passage side it blows cold even when the car has been driven from 15 minutes.

Defrost doesn’t work due to no heat on passenger side. Heater core replaced and has to be flushed out every year. Research on the internet says this is a common issue but no recall.

I have had an ongoing issue, over the past almost three years with not having heat on the passenger and rear of my vehicle. The system has been flushed multiple times, thermostat replaced, actuator doors checked and replaced, and my heater core replaced twice already. The interventions fix the problem for a short period and they it is back to only cool air. The coolant pressure is fine and the car does not overheat. There is no change when driving or in park.

Visibility obstruction: the heater has slowly been losing heat and is only blowing cold air. Visibility is severely obstructed due to the defrost system not working properly. The defrost system is blowing cold air not clearing the windshield and seriously obstructing visibility.

Fuel line on the fuel rail blew out heard pop then vehicle caught fire. Was driving smelled gas drove home as fast as possible. Got out of car to see fuel pouring out of driver side of car under hood. Went in house. Got husband he let the car cool down then looked to see where it was coming from heard pop and then flames.

Reverse lights are inop because of a bad backup switch which is located on or in the transmission.

I was driving on the highway at 60mph, I went to pass a car and pressed the accelerator pedal and the plastic pedal broke off just after the pivot point.
