I was trying to accelerate from off an on ramp onto a highway and the car completely hesitated. The transmission took a good two seconds to accelerate and get into a safe position to pass, when I was struck from behind by a car in the slow lane. I have made a complaint before about this same issue and something needs to be done. I have already sent my car to the dealership and they reset the TCM, but it did nothing. Vehicle has hesitation during acceleration, it lags and transmission is unresponsive most of the times. There are other times that the vehicles transmission will downshift and rev up while coasting down hill while foot is off accelerator. Vehicle only has 59k miles on it and should not be having this issue. It's like the transmission just doesn't know what gear it should be in. Infiniti needs to fix a clear design problem!

The transmission in the m37's have a major flaw. It is a 7 speed and has a difficult time figuring what gear to go into. When you are accelerating onto an off ramp there is a major delay and the transmission can't figure out what gear to go into. You could be killed trying to get on an interstate because the car won't go. When you slow down the transmission will gear down sporadically. When you are climbing a hill at 30 miles an hour, the transmission will be in 6th or 7th gear. A software update was done to this transmission in september 2012 and helped a little but is still unsafe. By researching online about this transmission issue, there are a lot of complaint from consumers that own a 2011 2012 m37. Thank you. *tr

My Infiniti m37x hesitates on take off. When coming to a stop the transmission seem to be down shifting after coming to a stop. It shifts at random times throughout the driving cycle. This has been happening for a long time. I'm taking the car into the dealer this week to get the software updated. This is ridiculous Infiniti. I'm hoping there's a permanent fix for this very soon. *tr

The car hestitates, jerks, revs at low speed, rough idling, and slow acceleration. I replaced the MAF sensor b 4 months ago after my car engine ligth came on while on the highway and I couldnt accelerate pass 30 miles per hour.I had to pray and drive to the nearest place for them to fix it.

The transmission in the m37's are really bad. The 7 speed transmission has a very difficult time figuring what gear to go into. It goes threw the first 3 gears way to fast and slows you down tremendously. You could be killed trying to get on an interstate because the car just wont go unless you mash the pedal. When you start the car stalls. And hesitates. The transmission does not downshift properly and is a serious safety hazard. I went to get in traffic and the car hesitated and almost got me hit. It appears that all over the blogs this is a common problem. They try to correct with a software update but to no avail.

I leased my Infiniti m37 sport the first month it came out in 2010 (2011 model). The first day I drove the car the issues were apparent. I drove it directly back to the dealership, they said everything was fine..its learning your driving style..(I too have had Mercedes, BMW, Audi etc that learn your driving style) this was not the case. Well, now I am at 33,000 miles and the issues have only gotten worse. Its been to the dealer a number of times for the jumpy stops...when breaking (normal non aggressive) the tranny wants to jump forward and almost hit the person in front of me. Its extremely scary and Infiniti has nothing to say about this? It not only does that but when breaking it downshifts bad and bumps at times. With the ac on I noticed it does all of this more frequently, althoug

After 3 days parking in garage, the battery was drained. We hooked up a battery charger. The dashboard lights flashed a few times and then the electrical system completely shut down. The car went totally dead. None of the buttons was working, not even the trunk lid. Similar situation happened before, but the car was able to start by jumping. We will contact the dealer today. There must be some design or manufacturing faults. Infinity should provide answers and take remedial actions. *tr

Battery keeps draining. I had to jump it couple times and today I jumped it, everything came back, but the car won't start. It flashes 'warning key system'. The car is at the Infiniti dealer now. We own a 2011 infinity m37x that we feel is unsafe because of a steering defect. The vehicle continually veers from side to side unless the road travelled is perfectly flat without any imperfections. We have to make continual course corrections and it is very easy to overcompensate the steering, which could potentially lead to veering off the road especially if the road is a narrow track/country road. When you add ice ruts, or snow, or lightly rutted roadways the vehicle is very hard to control making it unsafe. *tr

I have several issues. The steering wheel peels. I have a cracked driver's side leather interior door. The car started jerking really bad on a city street, I couldn't go over 35 MPH. My 4was motor has gone bad! Infiniti dealership, cannot explain what would have caused the motor, to go bad. All of the car's safety features, are connected to this 4was motor. So, when that 4was light comes on, all of the safety features are turned off. This includes: intelligent cruise control, 4was, blind spot detection, lane departure, stability control, and sport mode! The cost is $8500! I purchased this car in 2011.

The Air Bag Warning Light on the dash blinks continuously and the Front Passenger Air Bag Status Light remains on whether or not the seat is occupied. I took the car to the Infiniti dealer. The Service Advisor said the Occupant Classification System Control Unit or OCS sensor needs to be replaced but Infiniti no longer provides this part; and furthermore, Infiniti advises against owner replacing the unit with a used part. I asked the Service Adviser what solution does Infiniti suggest and he said Infiniti does not suggest any solution. I contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs Department. The Infiniti representative said the vehicle is more than 10 years old and Infiniti no longer manufactures the part; therefore, there is nothing they can do. The floor mat became loose and caused the vehicle to accelerate erroneously, resulting in a crash. A police report was filed and no injuries were sustained. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. 2011 Infiniti m37. Consumer writes in regards to air bag malfunction and engine not starting. *smd the consumer stated the air bags did not deploy during an accident, in which the repair bill was in excess of $20,000. The consumer also stated the brakes were a constant problem.
