For the third fill-up in a row, when the pump shuts off an additional amount of gas spurts out of the fill up tube and down the rear left side of the Jeep. The Jeep is not obeying/monitoring the level of the fuel being pumped into it and when it rises to a normal cut off level the Jeep ignores it and allows more fuel to enter the vehicle. It's too late to shut it off each time. Each time it has done this it burps up about 1/2 a gallon to a gallon of gas. It's discoloring the plastic fender and causing a mess. I have never had a vehicle do this before. Every vehicle I have owned shuts off correctly, they have monitored the fuel intake level and signaled full before the overflow happens. Like how it should work. *js

When fueling, with the gas pump locked, the filler tube burps/spits gas when the nozzle shuts off. This event happens when the gas pump is filling both slow and fast. Gas spits out onto the fender and all over the paint under the fill tube. *tr
The gas always spills over from the gas tank after I put fuel in the tank. It doesn't matter if I put a few gallons in the tank or fill it full. It spills gas all over my Jeep and on the ground. *tr
Airbag light on. Believe bad click spring, as has been starting to make noise when turning steering wheel.

(1) Since October, I have had airbag failure in my Wrangler Rubicon. The failure is the 2nd time for the same defective parts. Jeep has failed to repair/replace the parts. I've been waiting for two months. I cannot drive with no airbags. It's a death sentence and SUICIDE to drive without airbags. There is a recall on this same defect issue, yet Jeep has continued to ignore this issue. (2) Jeep repaired a recall on my sidemirror defrosters a few years ago. After their repair, the defroster never worked again. (3) My heated seats failed to work, due to known defects. I've been without the deated seats for more than 2 years now! Jeep refuses to fix their defects.
Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2011 Jeep wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v352000 (air bags). The part to do the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
On my 2011 Jeep wrangler unlimited dashboard, the airbag warning light flashes on every other minute with a chime while driving. This is an indication that there is something malfunctioning or interfering with the vehicle's airbags. This appears to be a recurring situation, based on research in Jeep forums, and has been shown time and time again to be caused by a faulty clockspring within the vehicle's steering wheel. *tr

I was traveling north it had snowed the day prior roads were slick or so I thought the Jeep was steering strange I was traveling up a small incline and took the first of two turns I made the first and lost all control going into the second in to the ditch missing a large tree and bounced out of the ditch and down the ditch on the other side. With my seat belt on I was still thrown all around the cab of the Jeep in pain still thank you. After getting a tow truck we found the steering bar coming off the steering box was off and when we looked closer the shaft on the steering box had broken completely off. I find this hard to be leave that shaft is over a half inch thick. So to sum it up I am very lucky I had not made it to the highway it would no have been a good thing for myself and any o
When braking since these lights are on it will cause issue with the brakes themselves as if they don’t want to brake fully. Now I’m a 32 year old man and am aware of making sure your brakes are good and fully functioning. I’ve noticed also the steering when slowing down too from this. Nothing underneath the vehicle is an issue for steering. All steering components are fully functioning. I’ve noticed issues with the clock spring in the Jeep as well. Sometime it comes and goes (most likely and electoral problem) geez who knew! Haha, however when I’m turning the airbag light will stay on then go off and the lights on the steering wheel themselves with turn off. They’ve been off for awhile now. Since this is happening on a daily basis. When owing down it’s cause a very big issue for me because
While driving about 50mph and then begin to slow down on a major highway. The steering wheel begins to wobble back and forth violently and the whole vehicle shakes like crazy, and the muffler sputters like it is about to shut off. I have had to forcefully steer to the shoulder of the road and my vehicle continues to shake, the only way to get it to stop is to turn it off and restart it. This also happened when my vehicle was sitting in my garage and I turned it on to warm it up, it starts to shake and sputter after about 30 seconds of being turned on. I've heard it called the "death wobble" and I understand why. This has happened numerous times over the last 4 months. The condition seems very dangerous to me. *tr

powertrain 1 complaint shown
I own a 2011 Jeep wrangler with a manual transmission. In cold weather and with the vehicle cold, fourth gear continually pops out of gear and now 2nd is starting to do it. I brought it to the dealership, but they could not duplicate the problem. Also, they checked the tsb, but none are listed. I have read Jeep forums and learned that some believe the problem with the 2011s is the boot, either inner or outer or both. When it is cold outside, the boots don't flex well--so it pushes the vehicle out of gear. I have been in the middle of a turn and it happens--huge safety issue. *tr
fuel system 1 complaint shown
Whenever I go to the gas station to fill up with gas, one of two things happens; either it doesn't automatically cutoff and gas spills out onto my fender/wheel, or it does the opposite....continues to click off over and over and over again and I am unable to fill my tank. I have tried getting gas at several different stations now, and it does it at all of them. *tr
