The brake system is constantly failing/malfunctioning.It is available for inspection upon request. There has been several incidents where other vehicles have nearly been rear ended. I took my 2011 Toyota Prius (hybrid) to Toyota approximately 8 months ago. They/Toyota did confirm that the problem was indeed the brake booster. The warning lamps did come on soon as the brakes started malfunctioning.
