At 60,000 miles noticed a slight "squeak" in my steering when turning. Dealership checked it and stated I needed a new steering rack "...found noice coming from sttering gear input shaft seal, but aslo found steering gear leaking fluid out both end of gear". Quoted me a $1589.00 repair. I was informed this has been an issue on enclaves & traverses, but not a recall.
Power steering pump was replaced sept 2017 due to intermittent steering problems when making right had turns generally at lower speeds (78066 mileage). November 2019 same issue (98302 mileage) dealer told me with some cars two years is the life of a power steering pump. I would not be able to control the vehicle if this happened a any rate of speed. Also, the air conditioner has been repaired every year since 2015. Earlier in 2019 the blower on the heater totally quit and had to be replaced

A week ago, I felt my 2012 Buick enclave wasn't steering properly...like I suddenly have considerably less control...as if the steering wheel is fighting me when I turn. I noticed it because I could not get my car's steering to respond coming onto an entrance ramp onto 76w in pa and it almost veered into the lane to the left (as I was fighting to hold my wheel to the right coming off the ramp). I brought the car to my local gm certified mechanic who did diagnostics and discovered a malfunction in my steering pump and a leaky hose. He suggested I call the gm dealer who repairs my car for any item under recall, bulletin or extended warranty because the issue he identified is consistent with a safety issue identified on earlier enclaves. Last night (11/21/2016) my 2012 Buick enclave's passenger airbag light came on. Vehicle has only 61,000 miles. I took it in and found out that the passenger presence module needs to be replace at a cost to me of $1100. I was also told that air bags will not deploy in the event of a crash. I've noticed that this is an ongoing problem many people have with this car. How is this not a recall?
Frequent message appearing in the message center which indicates "service air bags'. The airbag symbol is also lit at the same time. The message appears at different times and will remain lit for about 8 seconds. It happens while the vehicle is in motion or when stopped, however not at any specific time. This vehicle was purchased new from the Buick dealer in el paso, texas and has never been in any type of collision. An internet check on this type of complaint shows that my vehicle year is part of ongoing problems with that same message being displayed, however my dealer indicates that my VIN is not part of the recall to have that repaired by Buick. In my opinion, this is a safety issue and should be covered by Buick. My vehicle has 78,000 miles on the odometer and has been maintai

Purchased car used from car dealer. Dealer states his mechanic inspected vehicle. I drove off the lot with no issues. Less than 48 hrs later, service airbag light comes on. Vehicle was stationary, ignition turned on when light came on. Light comes on, goes off and repeats this...

Last couple years I been having problems with the transmission skipping, hesitating a lot the dealer told me there is big problem with the transmission in this vehicle and they told me I will need new transmission or it has to be rebuilt because it will get worse with time. My mechanic add some lucas to help smooth up the shifting and I did that twice and it getting worse now so I don't know what I will do because new transmission is costly and rebuild also. The problem accurac when I drive every day and it's happens when I be cruising and the car be hesitating and shaking and don't want to down shift and then feels like is stoling and will shut down and this happens all the time. This happens every time I drive so this is safety issue and this is happening to a lot of people and should be
Whenever the vehicle is in drive and on an incline the vehicle will roll backwards excessively if the brakes are not held. If I pull up to a signal light or intersection where there is an incline my heart is beating so fast because I am afraid the vehicle is going to roll backwards onto the vehicle behind me. I have been told by a dealership repair representative to "just apply the brakes." well, you have to release the brakes in order to accelerate and merge into traffic and when I release the brakes to proceed, the vehicle will roll backwards unless I hurry up and accelerate (doing this, I run the risk of crashing into oncoming traffic). If there is a vehicle directly behind my vehicle, I could possibly roll backwards into it or into someone walking behind my vehicle. The dealership r

Power lift gate struts failed. This was a recall on other 2012 models. I had to pay $1113.21 for this repair. This created a safety hazard. This liftgate fell on my daughter. We caught it but she could have been hurt.
