I bought my 2012 Chrysler 200 new. Now having heating issue, hot air on the driver side cold air on the passenger side. I live in a northeast and it's very cold. I can't get the car warm enough for windshield to heat on both sides so that it doesn't ice up. This could become a potential hazard when your vision is restricted because you cant defrost your windshield due to a design flaw in the heater system that Chrysler doesn't want to have to repair. Also my kids are freezing in the back seat. How many have to be injured or killed from this design issue and or to have a factory recall done? Or kids with hypothermia?

There isn't any heat on the passengers side . The dealer said the heater core and the radiator also the thermostat' s . The said that Chrysler puts in a chemical that's supposed to fill in any pin holes and now a couple of years later it becomes sludge and clogs up the heater core and everything else. And now I have a $2900 bill that I have to pay. It's not right for Chrysler to do that to the public and get away with it.

There is low heat output from the heater vents due to the heater core plugging up with "sludge" as Chrysler calls it. There is a Chrysler star technical assistance hotline case, number s1207000008 explaining heater core restriction due to sludge causing poor heater system performance. It is a well known problem with a large number of Chrysler 200 and Dodge avengers which I am sure can be verified by Chrysler. I believe it should be a recall, or at least an extended warranty issue. The star case states to replace the heater core, radiator, radiator cap and reverse flush the entire system if the customer complaint can be verified by the technician, however it does not explain the actual cause of the sludge. I own a 2012 Chrysler 200, the engine stops/fails about every two months while braking or while stopped. This is dangerous as it can stop anywhere and they might rear end the car or something. I have taken my car to the Chrysler dealership 4 different times with the same issue, the first time they changed the PCM. After about 2 months the car's engine stopped while braking or while at a stoplight. The 2nd and 3rd time I took the car they did not find anything wrong with the car and gave it to me after a couple of days. The 4th time when I took the car they said that it was the battery and they put in a new battery. Well about 2 days ago the car stopped again while at a stoplight. I have not taken the car to the dealership as they never find anything wrong with the vehicle. I am tired of th

I have been tiwed twice a d stuck on side of the road 4 times. I'll be driving along when everything just quits. Engine, power steering and power brakes. One time I was just about to get on a highway. Couldn't get car 100% off road. Very dangerous. When I try to restart car it trys to start. I let go of key and cajr just keeps trying to start. After being towed twice car started right up. So when it quits I give it about 10-15 minutes and it starts. Googled and people having same problem. Upon investigating I found that Chrysler, Jeep has been having this problem since 2011 and did a recall on the 2015s. If they know there is a problem, why aren't they fixing it??

There was a recall on the airbag and seat belt pretensioner deployment capability on my car that started on october 1, 2016. When I got the recall notice in october it said that there was no current remedy. It's now december and there still is no remedy which means that the problem won't be fixed in the foreseeable future which is outrageous. If our lives are at risk because a car company can't get off its [xxx] and fix this, then the government needs to intervene. I don't feel safe driving my car because in the back of my mind I know that it might not protect me completely if I get in a crash which should not happen. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Tl* the contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 200. The contact was driving approximately 25 MPH when the brakes were depressed however, the vehicle did not stop and began to slide instead. The air bag warning light illuminated simultaneously with the failure. In addition, there was a loud whistling sound coming from the front end of the vehicle. The contact was able to stop the vehicle on the shoulder and the vehicle was later taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken for diagnostic testing twice. The technician advised that the clock spring sensor failed and would need replacing. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 11,500.

Original owner since 6.28.12 mileage currently 41,145 as of 12.21.15. Seat belt front, driver's side slackened and no longer restrains driver. Belt will not "lock" when vehicle is in gear. Also does not retract any longer, thus making it non-functional. Dealer says it will not repair this safety issue, since it was purchased 41 months ago and has 5,100 miles beyond standard warranty. As required safety equipment, and research on internet states, it seems this should be covered for ten years, 100k miles.

I had the seatbelt fixed due to recall but I almost got into accident as I could not pull the seatbelt . I felt like it was choking me . The second problem which is the current . I have been experiencing when you start up the car there are times it will start right away and there are times that I have to try it to start between 3 or 5 times. Brought the car to the mechanic 3 times in 2 weeks. . I have a brand new battery, not even a year old alternternator, spark plug is also new, brake is new and another parts was replaced which cost me $300. Today , december 19, 2019 I brought my car to the mechanic to have the problem diagnosed but on the 13 detected none of it has error. . Please help me. I already spent so k in money to get it fix . Excessive "fish tailing" in minimal snowy conditions, very unstable, absolute death trap. I felt like I was going to end up smashing into a passing car or truck . Drove for 30 miles per hour for 260 miles while there wasn't more than one inch on snow on the ground because the rear end of the car was swing in all directions, my wife and daughter terrified. I just bought the car back in august 2013 thus a few months ago and had no issues driving on dry ground but only in snow and wet conditions. *tr

When purchased this car, noticed that it pulled severly to the left, spoke to dealer ship and they stated that it was normal for front wheel drives to do so. So I continued to drive this car but always having to be on alert when driving on highway if car was going to jerk off road. This car handles horrible! Started with the ABS and traction control lights coming on, my cruise control stopped coming on and a week later I pulled out of the bank and stopped alone side of the curb and the car just shut off, no restarting at all nothing happens, the right info panel said no bus, its at the Chrysler dealer ship now and they can find nothing wrong with it at all, even though it wont come on.
