The vehicle failed to start on 12/1/14. I called the dealership in san luis obispo, california, and they towed it in. The battery was fine and they told my wife that they could not find anything wrong with it and that it was good to go and they gave it back to her on 12/2/14. On 12/4/14 my wife and two young children were driving and about to get on the freeway 180 miles away ion san jose, california, when the car stalled and froze up while going 40 MPH. Power steering did not work. She pulled over to the side of the road and the car shut off. Thank heavens she was not on the freeway. The car was towed to the dealership in san jose. Today they told her that they could not find anything wrong with the car but the computer did show an electrical failure. We called gm and told them

Recently, the vehicle has started shutting off while driving. On september 13, 2014, while driving the vehicle, the "service battery charging system" light came on. I immediately contacted the dealership, which instructed me to bring the vehicle in. When I dropped the vehicle off at the dealership, the service technician saw the service light. The dealership inspected the vehicle over the next couple days and stated it was not able to find a problem. I picked the vehicle up the morning of september 17, 2014. Within hours of picking up the vehicle from the dealership, I was driving the vehicle to lunch when, in the middle of a turn, the vehicle shut off and lost all power, including the power steering, making it hard to turn. The power came back on within a few seconds. When I to

This vehicle should have a recall on the transmission upon review the recall numbers NHTSA Recall ID: 14V092000 and NHTSA Recall ID: 09V073000 are not showing up in the system as recalls on the 2013 model. I purchased this vehicle used from a private owner. In April of 2023 the transmission went out without any warning a major expense not to mention the trauma from being stranded on the highway. The repair at that time was not under a recall even though several other Buick Enclaves failed at the same time. Present November 2023 upon returning home from a road trip the vehicle showed the inability to shirt failed to shift into the proper gear NHTSA Recall ID: 14V092000 . Vehicle was towed to a local shop for diagnosis this is very irritating and upon calling was told that recall did n
Transmission failure. No reverse and will not shift past second gear. Vehicle is limited to about 15-20 MPH.
My 2013 Buick Enclave transmission needed to be rebuilt after only 140,000 miles. While my cars transmission was being repaired there were 5 other Buick Enclaves being rebuilt as well. The internet shows that it is the number 1 car issue in Buick Enclaves. There needs to be some kind of recall for this issue. There is no reason that a transmission should be rebuilt on so many Enclaves.
04/24/2014 3:56pm our 2013 enclave suddenly went into reduced engine power mode while traveling on the interstate at speeds of 65-70 when suddenly speed was reduced to 35-45mph. My wife almost got rear ended. She contact onstar for diagnostics but they could not see any issue with the vehicle. (not issues or diagnostic codes found) when this happened the service stabilitrak light lit, traction off light lit, flashing service engine soon light lit. Car running rough and went into power reduced mode with sudden reduced speed while driving on hwy. To date this has now happened several times and until this past sunday, 10/26/2014 had never stored a code to show a problem. This event showed a c0561 code stored. I contacted the dealership for an appointment but they were not able to look at

Lights on the dash board came on while driving in town at approximately 20 MPH indicating AWD, traction control and anti-lock breaks were not working. Power steering also was not working. Vehicle taken to local gm dealer for repair. Assessment indicated need to replace power steering pump and electronic break module. The lights came off and on repeatedly over the next several weeks waiting on the repairs. The two recommended parts were replaced and one week later the same lights came on and power steering and other functions were lost again, indicating that the issue was not fixed by replacing these parts. *tr
Brake seemed as if it had a sound when purchased but dealership said it was inspected. I now find that it leaks fluid and I spent over $600 to replace the pump. Now as the dealership was diagnosing and repairing a separate issue they've notified me that there is a failed steering rack. The power steering rack repair is estimated to be $2,000. As this is a definite safety issue I am reporting in hopes of Buick assisting with this known failure. Invoice to be uploaded when repair is completed.
While driving my 2013 Buick enclave, I made a left turn into the stop and shop supermarket entrance when I felt the steering wheel become very hard to turn, seconds after it went back to bein normal. This all happened while a young lady was in the cross walk. No one was hurt, but I don't wanna it to get to that either.

The car started dying whether I'm on the highway going 65 or stopped or accelerating...so many different circumstances.. The car will be going along fine and all of a sudden it says traction control off, service stabilitrak system, engine power reduced and then it dies...it does all of this in a matter of 3 seconds then I'm left trying to steer with no power steering. This has happened probably 35 to 40 times in the few months that I have had the car. Yesterday was just the last time

Air bag warning light is on. Has been on for several months; no goes off and on indicating a loose connection. My vehicle does not show a recall when looking up the VIN; however the 2013 Buick enclave has an active recall for a loose air bag connection. I believe my vehicle should be included in this recall.
Driver's seat airbag defective. A warning light indicated it was not functioning. When repaired, noted that airbag was "open" and would not have inflated. The vehicle had not previously been in an accident. Gm would not cover repair of defective airbag

Consumer writing in regards to 2013 Buick enclave vehicle. He is requesting reimbursement for seat belt recall repair. *kl
I originally did front end collision repairs on this GM vehicle and I had to originally replace the front passenger seatbelt. I went through 3 apparent good used ones for replacement and all of them have had their fair share of difference from acting up. One of them seemed to work but every now and then the airbag light would come on due to seatbelt. Replaced it with another and frequently the airbag light would come off and on than the last one installed. The 3rd replacement seems to work but airbag light would come on again, not as frequent and would only shut off if seatbelt is pulled and retracted purposely by hand. I am not seeing a short or a wire problem but the seatbelt is not working properly and I believe GM has failed to produce quality front passenger seatbelts. Even all three

The front doors of the 2013 Buick enclave have razor sharp corners that can cut the calf of your leg as you exit the vehicle. The doors are designed with a sharp corner that jutes out on its lower edge. As a driver, I have been cut twice in the 6 months I have owned the vehicle, one time even through a pair of jeans! Other members of the family have also been cut. All cuts drew blood. *tr
