Takata recall. I am extremely concerned with this recall, and how there is no remedy available. I am very uncomfortable driving my car, especially since I live in florida, and the high humidity and temperatures can make this issue even worse. I have tried to trade my car in on a new one, and many dealerships are unwilling to accept it as a trade because of the recall, meaning they would be unable to re sell the vehicle. I now feel like I am stuck with a vehicle that is completely unsafe to drive, putting myself and my family at a high risk of danger. *tr

In july 2019, my 2013 Chrysler 200, that I purchased brand new in 2014 just stopped. Wouldn't go forward or backward. I was stuck in the middle of the road on a steep hill. I went from 45 MPH to nothing without any warning. No warning lights ever came on and the car wasn't acting any different than it had the million times I had taken it to the dealership for it being jerky when taking off. They repeatedly told me there were no issues found and the car was fine. I was and still am the soul owner of this car that didn't even have 85,000 miles on it. I spoke with Chrysler several times about my warranty and the now bad transmission. They told me to take it to the closest Chrysler dealership. Which I had it towed there since the car was no longer drivable. I was contacted a few day
After a few months of having DTC come up for EVAP and misfire then disappear just a quick as it came up, my vehicle has recently began stalling out while driving, specifically while decelerating or idling. The battery was replaced 2 years ago and tests good every time, as does the alternator, starter, wires, connectors and sensors. Nobody can find any DTC on the obdii or anything else. It's easy to replicate but impossible to decide why. I've talked to the dealership about possible recalls from 2012 concerning the PCM as well as chatted with a few people on the Chrysler website and nobody wants to help. This is a very serious situation, as I can prove with video from my dash cam and back up cam. The people on the Chrysler website were very rude, and the dealership was not willing to stand

I have 3 Chrysler vehicles and every one has had the heater core go bad! Last year it was our 2013 Dodge avenger. Now it is the 2013 and 2014 Chrysler 200's we own. The heat stopped working in all 3 of these vehicles...all within 1 year of eachother. There has to be some sort of defect in order for the same thing to happen to all 3 of these chryslers. I wanted to report this if you keep any sort of record of complaints at all in hope of getting a recall made on this. Just by looking on the internet it looks like many others have this problem as well. Thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
visibility 1 complaint shown
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. During colder weather conditions, the front passenger side vent blew cold air when the heating function was utilized. The failure caused the windshield not to defrost midway over to the front passenger side, which affected the contact's visibility. The dealer (solomon Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 409 national pike w, brownsville, pa 15417, (724) 785-8000) diagnosed that the heater core had red sludge, the dashboard had to be removed, and the heater core needed to be flushed. The dealer did not state that the heater core needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified, but did not issue a recall. The failure mileage was not available.

Not long after purchasing my 2013 Chrysler 200 I noticed that every few days I had to get air in my tire. When I had my very first service I mentioned to the service dept. They looked at the tires and put air in them. Then it was the same every few days put air in tire. Well on next service it was the same old thing nothing wrong put air in tires this just keeps going on. Well when it was time to rotate tires then the problem got a little worse. Had to go from every few days to every other days at next service got the same statement nothing wrong. Now its got to the point I have to put air everyday and not just one tire but all of them. I just now got to 30,000 miles on my car. Also they said and tried to talk me into getting nitrogen put in which cost money and if your on the road and
