When I accelerate the vehicle doesn't speed up and sometimes it hesitates. This is dangerous especially when entering the freeway it takes a while after I accelerate for the car to get up to speed. Seems like a transmission issue. Infiniti needs a recall. I know several people with this car and have the same issue.

While driving the car would not accelerate and the transmission was hesitating severely when pushing on the accelerator. Problem continued until the car had no power and the engine shutdown without any dashboard gauge warnings in the middle of traffic, during rush hour.
