The bluetooth radio system malfunctioned during the first year and dealer services were not knowledgable about the defect until 3 years out. Digital symbols for air/heat sometimes not visable and radio not functioning. Driver's side sun visor fell from the roof and I was able to reinsert. But, difficult to lower/raise. Dealer wants hundreds to replace (no repair possible). Wipers scrape/rub the glass too closely as though too large/tight. Makes terrible scraping sound and clicking noise when in use, although new. All issues occur whether vehicle is in motion or not.

On 10/15/2018 my wife had called me to inform me that her 2013 murano without any warning or check engine light coming on her engine cut completely off at 60 -65 MPH while merging into the expressway had there been other cars around my wife would have wound up in a collision. Had other cars been at same speed coming behind her I'm afraid it would have been a bad accident, my wife fears driving this vehicle for this reason now. It was a complete shock to her for our great running vehicle to just shut off out of the blue no warning.

2 safety issues: (a) passenger side seatbelt functioned fine when we got out of the car and upon return, we were unable to pull the belt out to fasten. It was locked within its 'roll-up' area. (b) blind-spot warning lights, tire air warning lights and etc. As seen in uploaded photo stay on in the color of orange. Also the brake light stays on in red after car is started. These functions do not work as well. No air needed in tires: checked that. No issues with brakes: checked that. Taking car to shop friday.

Purchased 2013 murano platinum in april 2014 with 25k miles on it. Within a few months, I had it to the dealer with a steering rack problem because the power steering had failed. After fixed, I didn't have another issue with steering until sep 2017 in which I couldn't turn the steering wheel at all. It had locked up while I was traveling from work to home on a sunday morning. Car went into dealer for nearly 2 weeks at lake manawa Nissan with them trying to install OEM parts that were failing. I have a extended warranty (halo) and spent $150 deductible to get it back. Yesterday, 12/28/17, with the car having 65k miles, I was going 50-55mph around a 40-45 degree turn on the interstate, I lost the steering again. I'm a strong 50-year old woman. While driving with family on a residential road, the power steering failed and steering wheel became extremely stiff. I quickly checked dashboard indicators and everything look okay and engine was still running. I pulled into gas station, popped hood and noticed steering fluid was very low. I buy a bottle at the gas station, put a little in the reservoir and moved around the gas station lot. Steering felt nominally better. I checked the steering fluid and reservoir was low again. I then called a few Nissan dealers and found one that could look at it the very next day. I put more fluid in and had a relative follow me to drop it off. This specific vehicle had a recall NHTSA campaign id: 17v184000 in 2017 for the power steering high pressure hose and the vehicle was repaired according to the

The driver and passenger window visors are defective. They will not stay up and thus create a safety hazard with visibility. Right now I have them held up with velcro but now they are rendered useless for blocking the sun which creates another safety hazard. I have spoken with a Nissan dealership about having them replaced and was quoted a price over $500, and according to the employee they are the exact same visors. Why would I want to pay to replace a faulty product with the exact same faulty product? According to the internet and the dealership this is a common problem with these visors yet Nissan has not stepped in to make it right. Thank you for any help you can provide.

1st issue:......coolant smell. Dealer said could not find (acknowledged smell). Topped off surge tank. Coolant still dropping over time......; reviewed: found coolant leak on passages side (fire wall side) mid engine above exhaust 9" inches...... Viewable from bottom of engine looking up between exhaust and frame line (light is required)....... Cannot see source. Will need bore scope to further review........ Plan to take back to dealer with info....... Blue colored coolant is not staining area well...... Suggest: pressure check coolant system, this will force the coolant to drip while looking up. Sorry dealership I am a 3rd generation mechanic who works for the government........................ 2nd issue:......transaxle fluid is leaking out of weep hole. Seal is suspected of

When stopped on an uphill in drive, car rolls backward when I step off the brake before I can step on the gas. On a steep hill, requires coordinating keeping one foot on brake while stepping on gas to move forward. Tested on an empty hill, car rolled back all the way down until I braked. Test drove with dealer's technician, he said this was normal operation "feature" of this transmission. If so, is this what I tell the car behind me on the hill when I roll into it..or the child who scoots behind me to catch the school bus? Definitely a safety issue!! *tr
