Anytime the break is pressed it causes the center console from working properly: audio stops, display does not work, turn signal sounds do work, lock/unlock buttons don’t work, AC system does not work. Radio console should be recalled. This issue started over 4 years ago and it continues to get progressively worse. Costly to repair.
On cold morning start, the climate control, radio, radio lights, blinker ticking audio, driver information display, steering wheel hands free phone control (speedometer, tps readings, trip info, etc..) does not power on. Driver cannot defrost the window. Then... After car is driven 10-15 miles they power on. (car warms up some) internet search reveals many others with similar problem. Some say clip a white wire behind radio, real fix is replace BCM. And dealer only program, the vehicle specific BCM (body control module) it may sound easy to just say... Dont drive the car, but if you have no other means.... Who is going to do that? I am a ASE certified tech, though expired 2002. Not wrenching anymore but I know a little bit. . I'm not looking for free fix! This could be a real problem [xx
My 2014 Chevrolet the radio /air conditioning and a/c controls, overhead lightning and now the blinkers are popping cracking lighting up my electronics in the center console and it is very scary. The a/c clicks on and off my turn signals are effected and now I am having to get a jump to start my car and I have a 1 year new battery. I am afraid with this going on and it is a known problem for this car.
Recall notice 14v346 received for ignition key replacement from gm in august 2014 and dealer notice of past due service recall for this same safety issue also received november 2014. When I called today to get my 2014 camaro safety repaired the service provider at the dealer where I purchased the vehicle said the parts are on back order and would not make an appointment for the safety repair?! She advised me to call back in 10 days. Gm must really be concerned about my safety to not have safety recall parts available for repairs. Also, I previously purchased an additional ignition key with transmitter from the dealer for this vehicle. Why will gm not also replace this transmitter/ignition key under this safety recall? *tr
My car was part of the ignition switch recall in 2014. For the past week, whenever I park the car I can not get the key out of the ignition. The dealership explained that the problem is being caused by the shifter not communicating to the car that it's in "park" so it won't release the key. They also told me that since my car has 55,000 miles, the repair will not be covered under warranty because it's electrical and considered part of the "trim". They informed me that the repair would be in excess of $600.00. I am extremely unhappy because I can't afford this repair and this is my only mode of transportation. The car is pretty much un-drivable at this point unless I want to get stuck somewhere.
The radio makes a loud pop & makes me jump as it goes on & off whenever it wants to. As this happens, the dash light turns off, the heater/ac turns off, the signal lights stop flashing, & when the turn signal is activated it makes a loud static noise that flashes through the speakers. It is a safety issue because it's distracting & it's dangerous for signal lights not to work properly. The car only had 60,000 miles when this began. I've been told there are computer chips, ECM modules, a new stereo with On Star navigation & I honestly can't remember all that was tested wrong with the electrical system that is estimated at $1000 to repair. I have seen numerous complaints of the same issue on the web. I sincerely believe it is a problem Chevrolet is aware of & a recall should be made before a
While traveling, the radio suddenly made a loud pop noise and the information panel went out...information panel began flickering on and off, also affecting the ac/heat controls and when using the blinker, it wouldn't make a signal sound. The lack of blinker sound leads me to wonder if the blinkers even work when this happens. This problem randomly happens and when it does, it's very distracting and the loud pop noise is extremely upsetting. I have found on numerous forums that this seems to be a major issue with the Chevy camaro and gm doesn't seem concerned. I believe this is a major safety issue that needs to be addressed. It first happened to my car on dec. 5, 2019 and has continued to randomly happen since.
I totaled out my car I flipped 8 times landed on all four of my tires. My airbags didn't deploy.. None of them

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the turn signals and the defroster were inoperable. Upon investigating the failure, the contact discovered that the failures had occurred because the grounding wire was not thick enough to support the electrical functions. The contact also discovered that other mechanics had added an additional ground wire to correct the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. A case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.
The radio screen works fine, so does the bluetooth, volume knob, however, the car has lost complete sound capacity. No music, no chime start, no turn signal sound, no rear parking sensors warning sounds. Anything
Radio plays then makes a loud pop. Also blinks repeatedly. Using blinkers or brakes at times will cause radio to pop loudly then go off completely. Radio will not come back on unless you stop and turn off ignition and restart. Radio may work for 30 seconds or 30 minutes. Sometimes when you useblinker the sound will come through the radio loudly and will not stop unless you turn the car off. I cannot turn radio off when any of this is happening. On various forums I have seen many complaints from many users of this same thing happening to their cameros. There are youtube videos showing supposed fixes so this problem has affected many. A radio should last. I've seen reports of replacing radio with factory parts and it happen I g again. I say this is electrical because radio acting up is affe

Blend door is broken and when doing research, I found this issue is common with 2010-2015 Chevrolet camaros. My car only had 57,000 miles on it when this occured.
Hi I just bought a 2014 camero 2lt I started driving it bet then I all the sudden my key keeps getting stuck I took it to Chevy dealer and they said its not a recall they said its the shifter but I dont believe them they are just trying to make money any way they can can someone please point me in the right direction thank you.
Key keeps getting stuck in the admission when I put the car in park. It was sporadic but now its every time I go to pull my key out. I have read of many other camaro owners having this same problem
Heater core is leaking on 2014 camaro with 50k miles. Repair is extensive involving removing the windshield and the entire front part of the interior. $1700-$2000 is the estimated bill and the car will probably never be the same since the dash parts were not designed to ne removed.

Made a turn in rain going approx 10 MPH and car slid. Luckily no accident, however it is utter nonsense to sell an automobile in the northeast with summer tires only and then offer all weather tires and rims as a $1000.00 after market option. I feel this is not only unsafe but lethal to the driver and all occupants. I believe that Chevy should be selling the car with all weather tires (safety first) and the summer tires as an option. I feel that paying $45,000.00 for a vehicle it should be safe. I feel that there will be many accidents to come and I would like to know "does someone have to die" to get this investigated. I feel Chevy should recall all autos with these summer tires and replace them with all weather or at least have the owner sigh a waiver. *tr
