The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Spark M300. The contact stated that the air bag and the seat belts warning lights were illuminated, and a message stating that the air bags would not deploy in the event of a crash was displayed. The contact stated while at a complete stop at the traffic light, the vehicle stalled and failed to restart. The vehicle was pushed to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to an unknown dealer by roadside assistance, who purchased a new battery for the vehicle from the dealer; however, the dealer informed the contact that Roadside assistance could not install the battery because it would interfere with the business operations. The dealer advised the contact that she would need to pay the battery installation and diagnostic testing fee. The contact declined.

On or about May 31, 2021 the car alarm began to randomly go off on the vehicle. I took the car to the local dealership on July 20, 2021 and was advised that "hood latch ajar signal showing hood open randomly" was causing alarm to go off. On Aug 21, the part arrived and the hood latch was replaced. Immediately upon leaving the dealership, the radio went blank. I lost all audible sounds and alerts in the car including: seat belt alerts, key in ignition alert, blinker alert, OnStar, and radio power. I returned to the dealership with the vehicle on Sept 21, 2021 and the car was again repaired. I was advised that "relay and battery saver relayed" was replaced. Additionally, the service tech called GM TAC and was advised that "due to the issue being intermit. most likely cause is fuse block over

I recently purchased a 2014 Chevy spark with 49,000 miles. Within a week of using the vehicle the radio, chimes and warnings stopped working. I was driving and touched the rear window defroster. The radio went off and would not turn back on. I thought maybe a fuse had blown so I checked all related fuses. Then I did some research on line. I found numerous articles and recalls for this very same issue. I am the third owner of this spark. The first owner had a recall service performed on the spark that was related to the radio. Just a week before I purchase the spark the second owner had the radio "repaired" at a Chevy dealership. Chevrolet at this point does not recognize that the problem is recall related because the recall service was performed once.

I was driving on the highway and the engine light comes on. The car starts to stall. I went and got the codes read. Everything came back that its the transmission. Chevy claims they're not sure if the warranty will cover all the cost. The place I got the car from didn't even provide me with any carfaxs. I called them and they didn't give any solution. I am disappointed.

I have been having issues with my car getting stuck in gear or not wanting to switch gears, as well as sometimes when I try to go and I'm pushing the gas pedal it's like it doesn't move or try to drive then there is a loud knock and it revs all the way up and still doesn't really move then there is another loud knock and it takes off slowly and over revs and sputters and drives very odd, like it's struggling to go and keeps trying to switch gears. The check engine light keeps going on and off and every once in a while my traction light comes on as well. I took it to auto zone and this is the codes they received,"Powertrain Trouble Code Description: Pressure Control Solenoid "B" Control Circuit Range/Performance Powertrain Secondary Trouble Codes: P0965, P070." Transmission fluid leak: p0075 error code. Vehicle previously had a fluid leak from a bolt securing transmission housing to engine. Leak visible under vehicle near the muffler pipe. Seal replaced on vehicle; approx mileage 15,000. Came to complete stop and when attempting to accelerate grinding noise/no power. Vehicle exhibited odd behavior in drive/tranmission. Vehicle went into limp mode several times at around 85,000 miles, on making a stop at a stop sign and would not accelerate. Reported to dealership only misfiring codes found. Failure at 101,000 miles. Made a complete stop after driving and vehicle would not accelerate. P0075 code. I found that the transmission is leaking from the same location, near the muffler pipe beneath the engine.

Car sputters and hesitates. Feels like transmission or fuel problem. Had transmission replaced once already. From what I'm hearing transmissions in this car have an issue. Seems like it should be replaced by manufacturer not me. This has been happening for months. It was seeming to come and go now it just all the time.

When accelerating from a stop, making a left turn into cross traffic with plenty of time, the engine will not accelerate! Even with the gas completely pressed it stalls for a good four seconds. I would have been involved in a major accident if it traffic did not slow down for my car to finally rev up, sounding like it's red lining just to get with the flow of traffic. *tr

Since I received the transmission safety recall and took my vehicle in, it seems like they made my vehicle worse. It worked perfectly before the recall and now it seems like the transmission is going out. Also seems like my brakes lock while I'm driving and if I press on the brakes they engage very badly. It makes me jump forward.

1st and 2nd recall completed but vehicle still does not run right. 3rd 4th and 5th recall has not been schedule by gm and are safety recalls. 1. Bolt on bottom has to be torqued to the right setting or could be lost of steering. 2. Airbag not deploying. 3. Need new hood latch as it could corrode vehicle could open unexpectedly. The contact took the vehicle to bellamy strickland Chevrolet Buick GMC (145 industrial boulevard, mcdonough, ga 30253, (770) 954-3000) where failure code 95 (air bag failure) appeared on the instrument panel. The dealer determined that the air bags needed to be replaced because, in the event of a crash, the air bags may fail to deploy. The vehicle was repaired. The driver's air bag was replaced. The manufacturer was contacted and provided case number: 9-5676587766. The failure mileage was 80,000.

I was involved in a accident where I hit a concrete wall and another vehicle. The airbags did not deploy but the car did sustain enough damage that the steering wheel and drivers side airbag should have deployed. The car did display a error code 95 for failed airbags. Gm has been contacted. I sustained head injuries.

Seatbelt retractor isn't working. It stopped working 12-29-2022. I can't buckle my seatbelt on driver's side. I took my vehicle to Daniel's Chevrolet in Swainsboro, GA. Part has been ordered to be repaired and the repair is scheduled for January 10, 2023. Repair cost is $435.00. No warning lamps, messages or other symptons of the problem prior to the failure.

I was driving my spark EV to the dealer around 1:45pm on 12/29/2016 for them to fix the non-functioning heat, the airbag pretensioner recall, and failure to fast-charge. I was traveling straight at about 25 MPH on a residential street. When the car in front of me stopped I tried to stop but the brake pedal went to the floor and the car failed to stop. In an instant I checked to be sure I wasn't pressing the accelerator, then pushed with all my might even harder on the brake pedal. The car eventually stopped but only after coming within an inch of the car in front of me. My car sounded a warning "ding," and the dash illuminated the service light, the stabilitrak light, and the parking brake light, and the message in the middle of the display said "service stabilitrak module." see attached

The brakes on the car stopped working at full power, it took 5x longer for the car to come to a complete stop. Took to dealer, did recall repairs. Same symptoms returned after several days of normal operation. When the brakes start to loose full braking power there are many warning lights that appear on the instrument panel. This car is unsafe to drive and is again acknowledge at the dealer awaiting diagnoses. The car is under full warranty, it has 26k miles. I was going about 50mph
