2014 Dodge Charger owner complaints

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 Dodge charger. The contact stated that the vehicle had a strong hesitation, excessive smoking, and the service engine warning light randomly illuminated. The dealer was notified of the failures several times and was not able to provide a permanent remedy for the condition. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and was not able to provide a solution to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 22,000.

So I've been going to dealership getting a oil change spark plugs change etc and also all recalls done at same dealership which I dont have a problem with but I've come to notice there is a problem with this oil filter adapter that seams pretty crazy buy the way manufacture built such faulty piece that is in a highly mantience area that would put many nice cars on side of highway or even stall from running a motor from a faulty piece as a Dodge driver I was hit with this problem thinking I was goinng in for a oil change to have major work done by this faulty part that is on all 3.6 engine no matter charger or Jeep or Chrysler 300 so I think it would be highly appreciated for you guys to recall this so I can not be out of 1300 dollars because of this faulty part that at most should have bee

I have a 2014 Dodge charger sxt with the 3.6 v6 engine and the new 8 speed transmission. The transmission is not shifting properly; when it is cold, the engine will rev-up between shifts, and it has severe downshifts. When the temperature,(ambient and vehicle), is normal the up-shift problem goes away but the downshifting problem still remains,(at times)! I have taken it back for repairs 3 times ,(for this problem), and nothing has helped. This is a very nice vehicle and I want to be able to keep it and enjoy it , but this problem is sure ruining an otherwise nice vehicle. I have been told that this transmission has been very troublesome since it`s introduction and I am wondering if a recall is pending?? If not, it should be!!!!!!! Tl-contact owns a 2014 Dodge charger..... Engine had major oil leak - oil filter adapter oil coolant assembly- contact called Dodge dealership and dealership stated cost would be 500.00 to fix... Contact stated vehicle is not driveable due to oil leak..... Oil leaks down back of transmission and engine had started smoking when contact went to back vehicle out of driveway. Dealership stated warranty does not cover oil valve leak. Contact stated has warranty on vehicle up to 100,000 miles. 0 recalls associated with this VIN... Cb

Car still rolling after complicated efforts to exit in and out of vehicle as the car is still in gear it keeps on rolling. It takes tremendous effort and concentration of the possibility of danger whenever exiting in and out of my car. This is pretty scary.

Takata recall while driving in the city streets the oil cooler assembly started leaking oil all the way from the top where its located to the transmission and exhaust pipes causing a lot of smoke come out because the oil burnig had to stop very quickly thinking the car was getting on fire. At first did not know where the leak was coming from after inspecting I noticed it was coming out where the oil cooler assambly is.

All four axles and spindle nuts are literally decaying and crumbling. Its to the point the guy at the tire shop said its not safe. Being a awd vehicle it puts a lot of strain on the hubs. The car only has 65,000 miles on it.

The battery went dead and I put a new one in then a screen comes up and says wait for the vin to be verified but does nothing I think The PCM/ECU needs to be flashed to vin and it stopped communicating. I had to buy a new pcm but it’s not flashed to my vin and I saw there was a recall.

I had a small air leak in the rear driver side tire. I took it to get the tire repaired, and they informed me that the wheel was actually cracked. I took the car to get the rim repaired, and it was maintaining pressure. I did not check the other wheels, as they were maintaining pressure. Approximately 2 weeks later, I was involved in a car accident while driving down a local highway (approximately 55 MPH), where the car started shaking, and I lost control of the vehicle. I believe that the front passenger rim was cracked as well, which LED to wheel failure and a blowout. Ultimately, I ended up in a concrete wall and the car was totaled.
