As I read the above comments/complaints on the 2014 Dodge Dart, I have realized that we all are having the same issues with the recall, the car not engaging in park, and the Keyfob not working properly where it takes from 5-30 minutes to turn the car off because it is still in the acc mode. Now the car has started yet ANOTHER problem that it doesn’t want to start. I paid for a tow to the repair shop and they checked everything out and could find absolutely nothing wrong, no codes showing up, nothing. I had bought a new battery, was about to replace the ignition switch and/or starter but the shop had experience with Dodge 2014 before and the same issues with no apparent issues?? I did pay for another key and fob which wasted $200 because even afterwards the fob wouldn’t release due to the c

Car not running properly or even functioning due to an issue with the body control module. Running rough, screen to GPS blacking out. No ability to even turn the heat off/on when malfunctioning. These are all things that occur either when idling or the car is in motion.
My engine is still shutting off randomly and they told me that there is a recall on my powertrain and all they did was reprogram it even though that is not helping my car it’s still shutting off or trying to shut off
In October I brought my car in due to my car not correctly going into park. It almost fully gave out the time the recall started for dodge darts gear shifter, though there were times my car wouldn’t go into park and release the key months before. The shop ran codes that mentioned the ignition switch. They replaced the ignition switch hoping that’d fix the problem, but it didn’t. They brought it to a dodge dealership to have it reprogrammed hoping it’d allow the switch to work. After no success they looked further into the problem and dodge confirmed it was the gear shifting cable. When I called dodge to have them look into it more, they let me know there’s nothing they can do and refused the attempt to fix it, saying there’s no remedy. No other codes were mentioned, other than the ignit
Check engine light will flash while simultaneously the gear selections lights all glow red. Stability indicator signals loss as well as extremely rough shifting. Loss of reverse camera, moon roof, loss of auto windows both up and down, as well as practically all forward motion as if the transmission has suddenly stopped working. Once stopped safely and vehicle has been disabled I.t will not start without a series of steps prior to ignition. 1. Press accessory button. 2. Place in nuetral. 3. Return to park. 4. Open and close driver door. 5. Apply foot to the brake pedal. 6. Press ignition switch to start the vehicle. These steps allow the vehicle to become operational; however the check engine light will remain on for various lengths of time. The transmission now shifts less rough than dur

Crossing a busy road to the middle turn lane my 2014 Dodge dart stalled out and had a complete loss of power, leaving me in the middle of the road and I was almost tboned. I was quickly able to start the vehicle again to get into the middle turn lane where the car stalled out again. After several attempts I was able to start the car and turn around to head back home and off the road. While driving 100ft the car was still jerking as it was about to stall yet again. I get the car home and leave it parked to call the dealership. The only thing they kept asking me about or were concerned about was my oil and if I had been doing my oil changes. So, they obviously were aware of this issue with the engine failure and the oil. I told the dealership that I have complete documentation of every oil c
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 Dodge dart. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to restart. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was not provided. Updated 02/15/2017*ct
Bad motor mounts, vehicle was vibrating while driving. While idling vehicle feels normal but if accelerator is pressed the entire vehicle shakes.
It seems when it is cool outside when we crank our Dodge dart that it sputters and sometimes dies in the middle of the highway sometimes failing to restart nobody can seem to tell me why it does this and I don't want a car I can't trust not to get my wife and kids hurt or killed
Purchased the Dodge dart rallye in july 2014. Dec 2014 the engine blew because of oil sludge in the engine. The dealership replaced the engine. The car was in the shop for 30+ days.feb 2014 the car would not start. After several attempts a loud noise and white puff of smoke came from the engine and the car started. Drove it directly to the dealership.they looked at it and said nothing was wrong it could of been condensation.a month later the electric inside the car wasn't working. I took the car back and they said nothing was wrong. I also brought the car back because the engine was very loud and it was very difficult to shift into gear.they said the tires needed to be replaced and that is what was causing the loud noise. I replaced the tires and still had the loud noise and diffic

The last 6 months my car in the morning has clutch problems. I start it and my clutch will stick to the floor until I either use my foot or hand to bring it up. Then I will have to pump the clutch multiple times until it starts working. It feels like a sponge until it get pumped multiple times then it finally feels like it is working normal. The last time it happened was this morning.
The transmission control clutch keeps dis engaging causing the vehicle to go into a neutral position and will not allow the car to move...this has happened 4 times with this vehicle.
2014 Dodge dart ralleye sxt stalls while driving. I have had the battery and alternator tested. The alternator test always yielded a passing score but the battery score was off and on. I had the battery replaced for that reason and still have issues with the car stalling while driving. I've taken it into the Dodge dealership and left without a solution. The car stalled in several places but mainly when I am slowing down at a stop sign/light or behind backed up traffic.
The car turns off when at a stop especially when making a right hand turn or slowing down. The car gives you no warning no lights come on it just turns off. The car has been at the mechanic for over a week and they can not diagnose the problem becomes it comes back on after 3-4 attempts. This is a extreme safety concern for that it turns off completely when at a stop or a light. This can cause a accident and the problem can not be diagnosed yet.

I recently purchased my Dodge dart 2014 in august of 2018. I purchased the car with around 26,000 miles on it. Great condition, excellent mileage, no accidents, and only one owner. I have only had the car for 5 months. I use it mainly as a commuter car. It started having issues almost as soon as we got it. They were first minor things. Until november 2018. My cars battery died and refused to start. I had to replace out of pocket due to it not being covered by warranty. It was having issues starting, I thought that it was due to it being cold (because it would be fine once it heated up), so at first thought nothing of it. It would start up and I would drive it less then a mile, I would start to slow down and everything would shut off. The heater and the lights would still be on but it would
I have an open safety recall that has no available fix. My dealership confirmed they cannot repair it and advised me it may be unsafe. Because I cannot safely operate the vehicle, I am requesting a manufacturer buyback or financial assistance toward a replacement vehicle. Please escalate this to a case manager.

I was driving to work and not even a mile from my house when I was coming to a stop at a stop sign my 2014 Dodge dart sxt stalled. When it stalled the battery light came on and I shut it off. I was able to get it to start the next try. Then 7 days later, I was driving no more than 30 seconds when I was coming to a stop at another stop sign and the car stalled again with the battery light coming on. I tried to start it again a few times but was not successful. I needed a jump. I drove it straight to a mechanic who ran a few tests on the car including checking the battery and charging system. He said everything looked good which I figured since I just changed the battery a year ago. I drove it home. 2 days later I was two blocks from my house when it stalled for a third time (mind you this h
