Parked in a parking lot in a suburban area but in an isolated part of the lot have a super can with suicide doors, was able to get in the back seat and close all doors. Front console was up. There was no exit and I had no communication devise such as a cell phone. After combing the back seat area for about 30 minutes I happened to see the front console lever and was able to get it down and reach front door handle.. It was a 100 degree day and had this not happened at approx 10pm I may have died. I could not reach the manual but there was nothing concerning the doors when I eventually was able to read it. Ford complaint was made november 2,2018, was told to contact dealer service department. Was told there was no recourse and nothing could be done to rectify issue
I was instructed to take my truck in for a recall of a sudden downshift issue with the transmissions molded leaf frame. I had told the ford representative that i was experiencing similar symptoms with my vehicle. and some symptoms that were even of even greater risks to me where when coming to a complete stop my vehicle would fail to gain proper speed facing oncoming traffic!! Also i had told the representative that due to those issues i also had the computer re-programmed previously to try to resolve the issue before becoming aware of the recall... i also had purchased an engine and transmission harness from a ford dealer prior to the recall as well, All for which i have not been re-compensated for..after becoming aware of the recall did i understand that the issue lied in the transmissi
Put the rear defroster on for about 5 minutes. Started to drive down my road heard a pop sound. Stopped looked in rear, drivers side section of window was shattered (slider). Thank god my grandchildren were not in the back seat.
The heater/air conditioning fan/blower will randomly stop working causing you to freeze without heat or overheat without the air conditioning. It can be hit or kicked under the glove compartment to getting it going occassionally but not always. Also if you hit a pothole in the road it can also cause it to stop working.
The fan/blower for the heater/ac will randomly shut off. Then other times if you touch under the passenger side dash it will turn off and on.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH and approaching a stop, the transmission shifted into third gear. The contact stated that while stopped, parked, or while driving at various speeds, the transmission would unexpectedly shift up or down to third gear. The “WRENCH Symbol” and seat belt warning lights were illuminated. The local dealer was contacted, and the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V444000 (Power Train); however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
Sporadically, over the last 6 months (but with more frequency in recent months), at various speeds or with no other common denominator, the truck loses power to the transmission, the speedometer drops to zero, and the wrench light comes on. The only way to keep the truck functioning is to pull over, turn the vehicle off, and restart it. Most times, this will fix the issue. It's obviously been dangerous in multiple instances. While the truck is a 6-speed, 2014 Ford f-150, it was built in november of 2013. Regardless of this, my VIN is not part of recall 19v433000 or 19v075000, despite the same issue as the recalls. These additional manufacture dates should be included. I was alarmed to see the numerous claims with the same issue, outside of the recall. Ford needs to make additional c
While traveling at 60MPH transmission downshifts to 1st gear causing rear end to basically lock up and skidded into oncoming traffic lane. Luckily I didn’t hit anyone. Transmission also locks into 5th or 3rd gear at a stop and will not shift out. Unpredictable at best, VERY DANGEROUS.
The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V444000 (Power Train). The contact stated that while driving at approximately 35 MPH exiting the highway, the vehicle lost power and stalled. The oil pressure warning light illuminated. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and inspected. The vehicle was restarted and the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the residence but stalled multiple times on the way. Additionally, the contact stated a couple of days later the contact stated that he observed a knocking noise emanating from the engine compartment. The vehicle was then towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that that the rods were knocking and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufac
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 Ford f-150. While driving, the engine power reduced and the vehicle stalled on a hill. The contact stated that the gears failed to shift properly. The vehicle was reversed down a hill and the contact was able to pull off the roadway. The vehicle was not diagnosed by a dealer. The vehicle was towed to a repair facility to be diagnosed, but the results were unknown. The vehicle was towed back to the contact's residence and was unable to be driven. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was not available.
While driving down the highway at roughly 75mph the vehicles speedometer suddenly jumped to 105mph then down to 65mph, then to roughly 90mph and finally dropping to 0mph at which time the transmission suddenly shifted down into 1st gear causing the rear wheels to lock up while going 75mph almost killing myself. After this occurred and the vehicle stopped the ignition was turned off. Once restarted everything seemed to be functioning as it should. A couple days of driving normally went by before the vehicle locked itself in 5th gear, the only way this was fixed was for the vehicle to be cycled on and off. A few more days of normal driving went by and the vehicle then exhibited shifting from 1st to 5th once speed reached about 5mph. This occurred until the vehicle was cycled on and off. From

Approx. speed of 50 mph vehicle suddenly dropped into 1st gear resulting in rapid deceleration. Both speedometer and tach were fluctuating and had no direct correlation with actual vehicle motion. Defect was momentary and truck resumed to normal shifting pattern and normal speedometer/tach function.
On 12-26-21 tried to start truck, It cranked but did not start. called for a tow to the dealer. while waiting on tow I looked up fuse information to the fuel pump. after locating fuse that controls power to fuel pump relay I pulled fuse and it was burnt on one side of the prong. I called off tow and got home and did some research for this problem seems 09 thru 14 this particular 20amp fuse is being over heated. I also found a service bulletin 15-0137 on a ford site, and its stating that a ( Fuel Pump Fuse Relocation Kit ) in which I have to pay $270 for. I believe this is fire hazard and a safety because if this fuse is blown while driving it will shut down the vehicle. I have watched several video's on this issue and believe it should be recalled do to the nature of the problem. There wa
After turning on the rear defroster for about 2-3 minutes the right rear window shattered. (if looking from behind its the far right out of the 3 part window. ) iturned it on and drove on a straight road for 1/4 to 1/2 mile at aprox 35 MPH. We heard a loud pop/bang and looked around and found the shattered window. No puncture mark or hole from any object hitting it. Apparently this is a common problem according to reviews and news articles as there is a defect in the defroster over heating. Luckily it stayed in the window so we do not have glass every where but it could fly out every where at any second. This is extremely dangerous, especially if you have a child in the back.

I was pulling out of a parking structure as I turn right and then try to sraighten into the street my steering wheel was not abel to turn n was making a funny noise as I tried to and almost crashed had to yank the steering wheel hard and was barely abel to turn enough to not hit a car now car is just abel to go straight.from my knowledge it has to do with the electric power steering the trucks come with and looked into it as I was parked as close as I could to the side of the street that the trucks are known for them giving out with no warning n a recall was done on a certain batch I called Ford n dey said no my truck has no recalls n read up that the recall number was 14s09 n was happening to alot of those truck models
Intermittent loss of power steering function
cruise control 1 complaint shown
Steering wheel switch controls (cruise control, radio, blue tooth functions) become erratic and switch functions become jumbled (ie. Activating the radio volume control switch may change the radio station or increase vehicle speed). Problem is intermittent, but did occur during a dealer service visit. The dealer replaced switch pack, but problem still persists. I conducted my own research and found other f150 owners having similar issues. Some have been solved with the replacement of the steering column clock spring. With the unpredictability of when this issue presents itself I have resorted to never using the cruise control feature due to the risk of unintended speed changes. While the remaining issues are inconvenient, I would not classify them as dangerous. The clock spring issu

While driving truck and taking offramp to service road , pushed brakes and they were hard , no response . Got truck off the road without a collision , had truck towed to dealership and they replaced a vacuum pump on the brake system . Truck had 21,500 miles . 3 weeks later while driving on the highway again same thing happened . Had truck towed to the dealership where it is at now waiting for a diagnosis on repair . How can this be same for brakes to fail so often without a recall from Ford motor company ??? *js
