I have been taking off after stopping and the transmission or fuel injection misses causing the vehicle to not engage the drive train just right. The vehicle hesitates, lurches, and shutters. The vibration is bad and I'm worried if I take off from a stop light or sign, the vehicle does not engage the drive train, I might be hit by another vehicle because I cannot get the vehicle out of the path of traffic due to the hesitation. This is a very serious safety issue and something must be done to correct the problem. *js

Vehicle stationary in driveway. Completely dead, no lights, power, nothing. Vehicle has been to dealer 5 times for same issue. First time had only 1,364 miles. Dealer has no fix. Recharges battery and returns to me. Case opened with Ford, they will not buy back vehicle. Resolution from Ford each time: bring back to dealer every time it happens for battery recharge. TCM module replaced. Did not fix problem.
I am buying and paying for an unsafe and worthless car. Can you help? I am 66 with little income. This car shudders and hesitates often. I was told by Ford dealer in hutto, tx, that I have to bring it in when it shudders and they will check it and orders parts that will take 2 months. The "shudder" happens on and off, so chances of this happening when I take it to dealer are per chance. The service person at the dealership told me many people are just leaving these fiestas. I cannot do that. I bought it used from enterprise car rental. They will not respond to my emails. I cannot afford to keep paying on this vehicle. I never know if it will go forward when I step on the gas or not. Please help me. What can I do? I was sold a horrible car. *js
Automatic transmission shifts to a manual transmission function within 30 seconds of up hill holding function and rolls back into other cars. This has occured on my car after the recent Ford fix to their transmission design that fixed the rough automatic transmission shifting on the original design. The sequence is: come to a stop at a stop light on a hill, car holds the normal automatic transmission function of holding the car's position, but within 30 seconds the transmission assumes a manual transmission function and begans to roll backwards into the car behind you. Took the car to the Ford garage (gillis auto center, shelton, wa 98584) was told that this was a Ford design (deficiency) and there was nothing that they could do to fix it. There is no safety notice put out by Ford on
Allow me to be #100 for complaints on the 2014 Ford fiesta!! Maybe after 100 complaints Ford motor company will do something to help us all !! Purchased the new 2014 Ford fiesta in august 2014. By the time I went in for my first oil change I was having problems with the car shaking, jerking, slipping, shuddering upon light acceleration on gas from a complete stop. Then the car is slow to gain speed to keep up with traffic. I've expressed my complaint/problem with the service technician at the dealership where I purchased the car and he said it's normal, people complain about the same issue all the time and there's nothing they can do about it. As of today's date the problem still exist, I've been back to the dealership with the same complaint and nothing has ever been resolved. And I can t
Problems with car stuck in park and not starting vehicle was stationary, have been stuck twice for same thing
The car started not accelerating when gas was pushed, delayed then caught and jerked like transmission was bad, also the gas milage got worse after owning a little over a year. Almost hit by semi-truck getting on the interstate because car wouldn't accelerate! In town, at lights, would jerk when at a stop or at take off, almost causing people behind or front of me to hit me. Took it to one local dealer, said they adjusted the (TCM) transmission control module and in about 1000 miles it would be corrected and we should see better gas milage and no jerking or issues with acceleration.. Didn't happen, took to a different Ford dealer near us, they said no parts to fix it. One month later called them back about part, and they said "no known fix from Ford at this time". They said we could

While driving at approximately 65 MPH, the car stalled. The car would not start again retiring towing to repair shop. The repair shop said the fuel pump was bad. Other vins for this year/make/model were recalled for this exact issue. I was told my VIN was not included in the recall. I believe it should have been included. I had to pay to repair an issue that should have been covered by the recall.
Its gear or transmission problem .. Which the car will have vibration or they call it shuttering .. Its repeatative .. Ford will fix and return the car .. After few months it will have the same issue again when I asked about it they said its famous for some cars like figo , focus, fieata and ecosport .the vehicle was not recalled but the warranty is extended and not announced .. By chance I knew that .. Doors locker .. Suddenly one of the four doors wont close trying to shut the door but it wont close the best solution was to close the door and tie it with seat built ( as emergency procedure till I reach to agency or garage ) it happened twice with my car. But no recall which is unsafe . For the transmission started when I bought my car.
My vehicle was stationary, I opened my driver side passenger door to let my young sister into the back seat and the door would not close and lock into place. There was no visual issues with the door, but from this point on I was unable to securely close my door. I believe this is a door latch safety issues, which has been identified in other Ford model cars. *dt *tp

In september of 2015 I was sitting in my Ford fiesta (18k) engine running and in park and all the lights came on the dash and the car shut off. I tried to start the car by pushing the push to start and the first time it did not work but the second time the car started and I was on my way. In october 2015 I was driving back from a job interview and doing 40 MPH on a two lane road. I was going to make a sweeping right turn and the car shut completely off causing the steering wheel to lock. I lost control as I could not turn the car went across a lane of traffic and hit a curb at about 30 MPH. Major front right damage. I was able to drive the car about 5 miles to the local Ford dealer. They interviewed me twice on what happened (stating that they believed my account of what happened) and gave

Driving on highway engine began to overheat and sputter and began losing power.
After filling the car with fuel, car tries to stall and drop RPM's while idling. Car stalled twice while rolling to a red light after filling up. Problem goes away after 10-15 minutes of driving. RPM while idling is highly unpredictable after filling up.
Ford is saying that they have the parts to cover this recall, but they are on backorder and hard to get, and the dealers do not receive adequate parts to do the job, nor are they getting the proper instructions or training to do the job. My car has been in for 25 days, on a job that is supposed to take 5 hours, and there is no word on when or if it will ever be completed.

Car has approx 35k miles. Car drove fine to location. Upon starting car to leave location, there was no power steering. Shutting off ignition and restarting resolved the issue, however, leaves concerns regarding the reliability of the power steering as no immediate cause could be determined by mechanic.
Intermediate steering shaft failure at 42,000 miles. Upper joint has failed.this comprises steering greatly. New part ordered replacing myself as this is no longer under warranty.
Started fine, put into drive and steering froze.."steering assist failure" on screen. Repaired at Ford dealer. New steering box and column. Only 28000 miles on vehicle and 3 year warranty ended august 2016. Heard that other Ford models like focus were covered by Ford.
