ABS system malfunctioned in the following manner. ABS sensor displayed. Brakes pedal must be depressed to the floorboard in order to "try" to stop. The emergency "e brake" will not engage & is non-functioning. Contacted Hyundai Headquarters for recall resolution as this issue could harm/kill my child &/or others. The car is unsafe to be driven. Hyundai resolution rep made an appt for at a local dealership. The dealership stated they would repair the car regardless of the recall, but I would have to pay & have Hyundai "try" to reimburse me as they do not have a "fix" for the recall as it could supposedly start a fire &/or lose braking system. Question? How can you repair a vehicle due to recall failure, yet NOT have a "fix" for the recall? Something not adding up. Start of incident with car

When driving my 2014 Hyundai Accent, the brake system completely failed and I lost all ability to stop the vehicle. I was able to stop the car by downshifting to a lower gear and use the emergency handbrake. I was able to avoid other vehicles and no accident occurred. The vehicle was towed to a Hyundai dealer and determined the brake lines corroded and fluid loss caused loss of braking. No warning lamps indicated an issue and no loss of brake fluid was seen prior to the incident.
There are leak stains all over my engine, and my car started smoking. I got the recall notice 2 days after the incident, and there are no remedies yet for my abs sensor to be replaced.

After 86,000 miles, the oil consumption per week are 1 quart of gallon. And smell weird
The engine started burning oil at about 105,000 miles, despite it never missing an oil change and never abused. Apparently other Hyundais and Kia’s have also experienced early engine failure due to the manufactures poor quality control. It’ll burn about a quart of oil about every 1,500 miles. The engine has about 127,000 miles on the odometer.

On 12oct2018 while driving on a highway, I noticed a chemical smell coming from my car. Within seconds, all of the dash lights came on. When I attempted to brake to pull over to the side of the road, I realized that I had no brakes and that flames were coming from the front driver's side of the vehicle. Upon immediately exiting the vehicle, I noticed flames under the vehicle and coming out of the back of the vehicle. My car became totally engulfed and is a total loss. Firefighters were unable to determine the cause of the fire.
The air conditioner is leaking out fluid when turning on and I feel it is because of the unrepaired recall; this happens on a daily basis but I first noticed it on October 1.
