Drivers seat cushion threads torn at center seam

Very strong gas smell enters the cabin and surrounding exterior of the car after fill up. Seems to be a very common problem with this model and follows the same issues with previous years that were filed with the NHTSA and ultimately needed to be repaired by MB. The problem appears to be with the components of the fuel tank immediately under the rear seat. I am at the point where this has become a very dangerous hazard that consumers should know that the manufacturer should address and that consumers should not have to pay for repairs.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 Mercedes benz e250. The contact stated that the driver's seat was covered with a synthetic material called mb tex. The material was torn. The contact had to place a cover over the seat to avoid being poked or cut by the material and to avoid making contact with the heating mechanisms within the seat. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 170,000. The VIN was not available.

Pre safe collision warning- the lights beeps when there is nothing in front our next to me. It is very distracting. I took the car in to the dealer three times already for the same problem. Now it is still beeping. There needs to be a recall because it is very distracting and can cause an accident.

While driving in stop and go traffic I heard a loud popping noise from the dash area and smoke started filling the cabin. I called a DC area dealer service dept and was told to exit the DC beltway and un plug the audio amplifier in the trunk left access door That stopped the popping noise and the smoke .

The heater temperature is not consistent and keeps fluctuating. When I set the temperature to 80°F, it initially blows hot air, but after about 10 seconds, it starts blowing colder air. To get consistently hot air, I have to set the temperature to the maximum.

I was driving on route 40 (speed limit 55mph, but 45 MPH due to construction) when I began hearing rattling in my rear passenger side speaker, then crackling, a burning smell and then smoke filled my vehicle. The emergency brake often gets stuck, especially on cold days. I have to repeatedly push and release it or manually adjust it by pushing behind the brake to return it to the release position. This problem starts on 28000 Mile on this car

Driving the car at 45 MPH and the display messages come on that stated, "pre safe functions limited, inoperative" in addition, the esp and ABS warning lights illuminated. The vehicle loses power and has very limited acceleration. It has occurred twice, once on city road and once on highway at 55 MPH. Shutting and restarting the car eliminates the problem for the time being. If this happens again and I am unable to pull over safely, it will be a life-threatening emergency. Mercedes has refused to replace defective takata airbag since february of 2019 making different excuses why they can't replace the passenger side airbag with knowledge that if accident can be life threatening.

My steering wheel will not telescope up/down. I have had this repaired 2x's in the past 3 years. 5/2017, 6/2018, 8/2019, 12/2020 additionally, the blind spot assist notification goes off when there's not a car around me. Typically happens when I'm driving and go down a slight decline in the road.

The vehicle had been parked overnight at my home on 12/25/13 and upon entering the vehicle on 12/26/13, I noticed a large crack extending approximately 15 inches from the bottom of the driver's side windshield wiper and up to the center portion of the windshield. When I parked the vehicle at my home on 12/25/13 this large 15 inch crack did not exist. I recently Took it in for service and was advised that the rear subframe has a whole rusted through on the left side. The dealers advice was to replace the rear subframe. I was advised that it is not presently a safety issue, but it was going to be a safety issue as the rust continued. Repeated flat tire/tire damage while driving over small potholes in road in washington dc metro area(small roads/highway). Frequently 2 tires are damaged on the same side. . Required replacement of nine tires since 2015 with five tires changed over the last 5 months(since august 2018).apparently, low profile continental tires(245/40r18) used by Mercedes for the e350 are known to be a road hazard. On one occasion, a "bubble" was noted during inspection of tire. I was told no other/more durable tires can be used with the e350 model! Clearly, this tire model is prone for frequent failure and may present a road hazard for drivers and car occupants.

I own a 2014 E350 mercedes benz the transmission was recalled a while back but long story short my car has all the same exact problems a lot of e350 owners are having with the conductor plate witch causes rough shifts between 1st and 3rd gear car went to Mercedes’ for more testing now I’ve got a 13000 dollar estimate and problem is even though the vin doesn’t show it was recalled for that reason the problem is spread world wide cuz my car only has 60000 miles and every one’s Mercedes’ is giving same exact problems not just mine so it has to be a recall
