2015 Buick LaCrosse owner complaints

Power steering went out while driving roughy 45/50 mph. Unknown reason why it went out.

I was driving on the highway at approximately 70 miles an hour when my power steering went out. With great difficulty I was able to move across lanes and get to an exit. I drove to the nearest Buick dealer who said they were too backed up to help. While at the Buick dealer I turned the engine off. When I turned the engine back on, the power steering was working again.

The contact was able to drive the vehicle to an independent mechanic who informed her that since the vehicle was an electric vehicle, the vehicle would have to be serviced at a dealer. The contact spoke to classic Buick GMC arlington (1400 e interstate 20, arlington, tx 760180) where she was informed to bring the vehicle in for inspection. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was 79,150.

While driving at approximately 55 mph, my power steering went out (at first I thought I had blown a tire). It became almost impossible to perform any quick/reactionary steering changes. I put on my hazards and drove to the dealership and then for a second opinion with my local trusted mechanic. Both advised the electronic steering assembly went bad, that there is a new part #, indicative of a high failure rate; however, the part is not available in all of North America (they checked.) they called GM Buick and were advised an ETA on the backorder for the part is unknown. They filed for an emergency backorder request and are awaiting further information. Now, I have an undriveable vehicle, there are no loaner cars available, the cheapest rental car is a full car payment every three days

My wife was driving and went to turn the vehicle and the steering locked up momentarily. She drove directly home a block away and pulled into the garage. When attempting to take the car for service it would not turn in either direction.

I have been having problems where my car wont start, when trying lights rapidly blink, sometimes the radio and directionals wont work, and sometimes it cuts off while driving. My car is a 2015 Buick lacrosse with 14k miles on it.

Takata recall, the engine stalled while driving the car especially during turns. The car continued to hesitate to stall in traffic. The car vibrated nearby the steering column while driving in traffic. The car floor appeared to cave in on the left side on the driver's side. The heater failed to blow out hot air. While driving home on a city street we noticed that both low and high beam lights were not working.

Sunroof spontaneously exploded while driving on the highway at approximate speed of 65 MPH. Occurred while driving open area and nothing hit the vehicle. Temperature was approximately 41 degrees at about 7:30pm with no rain, snow, etc. At the time of incident. There was a very loud "bang" sound with 5 passengers in vehicle at the time. Inside temperature of vehicle set at 72 degrees. Some very small pieces "sand like" of glass were noticed on center console, front seats. Not sure where else. A new insurance claim has been initiated. The dealership service tech isn't going to contact gm to advise of any possible defect since he believes the sunroof must have been hit by some object on the outside since the hole is in center and he saw no cracks or anything coming from an edge. Transmission problem. Jerking when going into gear.

I had first seen a check engine light for a month and it would come on and off and sometimes it would stay off for about a week before it comes back on and do the same thing. I had noticed some slippage within the transmission a week prior to this incident and was looking to take it in for an inspection but money is tight so I couldn’t afford to go in for an inspection, especially a repair. I was driving to work and the vehicle was doing its slippage and I go about a mile or two until I reach an intersection, I came to a red light and stopped, when it turned green, I started pressing on the gas but the car didn’t move, it only revved. I then proceeded to put it in park and turn it off then on, only for it to do the same thing. So from there I had it pushed off into a nearby parking spot
