I had the recall on the door/latches done in December 2021 and here we are again and the door latches are freezing. The door either won't unlock and open or if it open then the door will not shut and I have had to drive holding the drivers door closed. I have had Ford look at it and they kept the truck over a cold night and they saw the issue. They have told me to replace the cables and door latch which parts and labor is 800.00. This to me is crazy because it's a known issue and me spending 800.00 is not a guarantee they won't freeze.
Door locks freeze and door won’t latch closed.
Vehicle has a catastrophic design flaw. If water enters the LED BLISS tail light assembly even in small amounts for anreason, including due to manufacturing defects, minor damage such as a crack, e treme wet weather, or wear and tear of seals, then numerous electrical failures occur of the entire warning system. This includes not only the tail lights, and blind spot backup and cross traffic systems, but catastrophic failure of all dashboard door and window controls. The vehicle cannot be easily unlocked including with remote, climate and accessories cannot be controlled. They vehicle can barely be operated and great expertise and expense required to return the vehicle to proper service. This has happened twice to this vehicle in 2022. Both times it was from minor damage to the taillight le
Rear driver's door lock froze and wouldn't lock. Upper lock/latch latched on rear driver's side door, but lower lock/latch froze and wouldn't latch/lock. Had to drive to work with the lower lock not latched and wait for weather to warm up for latch/lock to release. Problem happens every year when the weather gets cold.

In cold weather 1 or more of the doors do not lock or unlock electrically. Been a problem for 2 years now. Dealer has supposedly repaired but the problem persists.
Driver door frequently will not latch shut in cold weather. This means sometimes being stranded or having to drive with the driver's door swinging open. This is a widespread issue. *tr
Door latches are freezing up, even after the recall "fix" of a water diversion shield. I went back to the dealer to try to have it properly fixed and they told me there is nothing they can do as, the parts we already installed. It has been freezing up every time it's below 32 and I am unable to get into the back seat without crawling through the front and manually unlocking from within. This is a huge safety factor if there were to be an accident and one of my kids was trapped in the back, among other issues of inconvenience.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 Ford f-150. While pulling into a handicapped parking spot, the vehicle accelerated and crashed into a concrete pole. The air bags did not deploy. The contact received back and leg injuries. The passenger also received back injuries. Medical attention was not required. A police report was filed. The contact drove the vehicle home and later to the body shop where it was diagnosed that the bumper needed to be replaced and the front end needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 3,100.
Truck fault code flashes and truck shuts down into safe mode. Three times it occurred while driving on freeway at 70 MPH and the fourth time it happened in an a side road doing 35 MPH. Every time the same thing happened, the truck shut down in safe mode showing fault codes. I would stop, it would idle very rough, I was not able to move it as it would not rev or let me increase RPM. I would have to shut off truck, turn it back on, it would reset and drive like normal. Took to courtesy Ford four times to diagnose and they could not find anything, I bought a code ready and the truck went into fault code and safety mode again, the code read p2112. Ford found tsb 16-0139 applied and replaced throttle body and charged me $496.95 for repair. 2015 Ford f150 with 58k miles.

Since purchased, the windshield washers freeze making for unsafe driving every winter anytime the temp gets below 32. This creates an extremely hazardous driving condition. Unacceptable when you have to pull off the road and keep throwing snow on the windshield to clear.
The wipers quit working when the right blinker is on. When the right blinker is on to signal a turn, the wipers quit working completely. It does not matter what mode the blinkers are in (fast, slow, intermittent) once the right blinker is off, the wipers will begin to work again. Vehicle can be stationary or in motion. I believe the multi-function device is defective.

Second time my truck has shut down on the freeway due to a throttle body. Very dangerous!
fuel system 1 complaint shown
Warped exhaust manifold. The design of the exhaust manifold where it connects to the turbo is not engineered correctly and only has 2 mounting studs. The heat generated from both the exhaust and the turbo is more than the 2 manifold studs can handle and the exhaust manifold warps causing a broken manifold stud and exhaust leak. This is clearly an engineering design fault and this part should be recalled. Loss of performance, and fuel economy. No warning signals in the vehicle. This is the second time that the exhaust manifolds have warped. The first time was covered under the powertrain warranty and replaced by the dealer at +/-60,000 miles. This problem has now occurred again and is no longer covered under warranty at 86,000 miles

44,000 miles on the truck and the epas is going out! $1800 repair not covered by warranty! Near miss collision due to power steering working and then without warning no power assist while driving. Difficult to keep the truck going straight down the interstate while it is acting up intermittent.

When turning onto a road and starting to accelerate, the truck suddenly lost all power and the traction control, advance traction control, hill descent control, maintenance required light all came on and the truck went into limp mode. Luckily I was able to pull off the road and avoid being hit.
electrical 1 complaint shown
Several non starting issues. On one occasion, instrument panel did not come on after starting the vehicle. It would have been unsafe to drive the vehicle with no indication of speed, engine/transmission information, and other vital data. After several restarts, instrument panel came on after a 45 second delay. A wrench warning icon was displayed on the instrument panel. Took the vehicle to my servicing dealer the following day. They could not duplicate the issue, so no repair was made. The truck was stationary when this occurred. We were parked on a city street. This truck has had several electrical malfunctions since the vehicle was new. I have several service records which I will supply if needed to help your investigation.

I had a significant front end collision and the airbags did not deploy. I was traveling at least 70 MPH on the interstate when I collided with another vehicle.
brakes 1 complaint shown
This issue is about high pressure (D.O.T. safety regulated) brake line going to the right caliper, this line ruptured for no reason. This ruptured high pressure line was noticed & replaced during the Master Safety Recall (20S31/NHTSA 20V-332) repair completed on 04-06-2021. The vehicle had 58,616 miles at the time of the high pressure brake line was replaced, the high pressure brake line is not a wear item such as Front Hub, Drums, Shoes, Linings, Disc Rotors, & Pads. These wear items are listed in my Premium Care Ford Motor Company extended warranty as not being covered, the high pressure brake line is not listed as an exclusion as a covered warranty part. I paid $2,765.00 for this extended warranty, the high pressure brake line has (banjo) fittings (important) on each end and the rubber
