Dear Sir or Madam There are delaminating safety hazard issues on my KIA K900 that could lead to potential serious injuries or death that interfere with the passenger airbag. Over the last 3 years the top dash from the driver side across to the the passenger airbag has warped and continues to separates, leaving me afraid to drive or transport my children in the front seat overall. This puts me, my family and others at risk on a daily basis. While driving is a privilege, it my duty to protect my family and others who travel with me. What is are you going to do to solve this issues. The safety of my family is in your hands.

The dash is warping and the leather is rolling up across the passenger side airbag. The leather around the center channel speaker is rolling back as well and going to cover the daytime running lamp sensor if it shrinks much further.
The dashboard leather is beginning to warp quite significantly. I worry that this will interfere with the deployment of the passenger-side airbag.
Leather dash defective and is shrinking potentially interfering with airbag deployment on the front passenger side
Dash not holding together as it should. It seems to be exposing passenger side airbag and wiring for airbag.
The leather from the dashboard has rolled back and it will block, at least partially, the passenger airbag deployment if I’m in a front end collision. The lane keeping assistant doesn’t work at all. When driving 43 mph the car starts to vibrate until I reach a speed of 61-63 mph

Around 9/25/23, KIA service technicians confirmed that my vehicle had an engine fire rendering it inoperable. The incident appears consistent with NHTSA Recall Number 23V652: several engine compartment components melted due to the fire.¶For approximately 16 months, I persistently sought a resolution with KIA. Despite my efforts, KIA refused any corrective action & instead presented me with a $66,749.72 invoice for a new engine. This was alarming given I had purchased the most comprehensive extended warranty when acquiring the vehicle from an authorized KIA dealer (I am the original owner).¶The extended warranty company denied coverage, citing a general exclusion for overheating incidents. They classified the engine fire as overheating, voiding the warranty I had purchased for added protect
12/23/2023 my car started leaking oil. It took KIA 3 attempts to properly replace the valve cover gasket. Then my vehicle began having issues starting. They replaced my 1yr old battery, twice. The problem still occurred so they replaced crankshaft sensor. Since then, the vehicle has shut off on me completely 7 times. They have replaced the alternator now twice. The headlights flicker randomly, I lose power steering, and the vehicle will lose all power. I have to jump the car to get it started and it does not run like it did before. It lacks torque, it feels unsteady, and completely unsafe. Over the last few years the dash panel has completely melted off. I'm not a mechanic, but I believe there is either a short or and electrical issue caused by the heat of the dash. My car has been towed t
There is a flaw in night driving where the illuminated instrument cluster reflects on the front windshield glass in the driver's line of vision creating a distracting hazard. The only way to alleviate this condition is to completely dim the instrument cluster to a setting of one which makes the cluster too dim to read. So you have a choice: stare at a reflection in your windshield or be unable to see your speedometer.
The screen display will freeze and give an error message. This is dangerous and distracting while operating the vehicle because after the freeze the screen will go black for a period of time, then the system will boot with the "welcome" screen, then it will ask you to agree with the terms which requires a manual driver operation. This has happened multiple times at random intervals.

The lights malfunctioned, by flickering and finally going out. Putting me and others at risk by not having my lights working properly. There were NO warnings, prior to the incident. It has happened numerous times, scaring me to death. I am 86 years old and wasn't prepared to have my lights go out and not be able to see where I was going, or if others could see me. It started in 2017 and has happened often since then. I didn't know what was wrong and the Dealer said they didn't know anything about it BUT it continues to happen. Now the dealers want $159.00 to diagnose a faulty light problem that is DANGEROUS TO ME AND OTHERS.
The contact owns a 2015 Kia K900. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the driver’s and passenger side headlights intermittently flickered then turned off and turned on. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V210000 (Exterior Lighting). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 42,200.
At separate times, both "adaptive" headlamps have failed. At separate times, both headlamps needed to be replaced. This could be a systemic problem with this make and model. When the failure occurs, the headlamps will be pointing in opposite, and at least half the time, wrong direction. You could turn left, the headlamp will point right and there will be minimal light coverage on the road. You also can not see "down" the road when this condition exists.

RECALL MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER" SC284KH NHTSA RECALL NUMBER 23V652 KIA REFUSES TO PAY FOR DELIVERING THE CAR TO THEIR CERTIFIED K-900 DEALERSHIP KIA issued a recall in June of 2023. They notified us in March of 2024. We took our car to the local Dealer, but they would not give us an appointment. However, This local dealer in Tallahassee is not a K-900 Kia-designated dealer, anyway.. IN other words they can't fix k-900s. SO, We generally take the car to the closest K-900 certified dealer which is in Dothan, Alabama. Kia America refuses to pay for the tow to Dothan, and this local dealer is not certified and therefore refused to fix the problem. I tried again today, and still KIA America refuses to pay for the tow to Dothan to fix the car. Please advise

This vehicle will stop in the middle of acceleration when pulling out into on coming traffic . The car has been doing this since new, the Kia rep has told me this is normal for this car and that you have to take it easy when pulling into traffic and you can not use access acceleration and must give the car time for the traction control to kick in .this is totally unacceptable .I am afraid to drive this car and will not let my family drive it or be in this vehicle .I was never warned of this defect before I leased this car and the manufacture should warn people before the buy it. I would have never got this car if I knew of this problem. Someone is going to get killed or hurt if people are not made aware of this. Your help would be appreciated.

The rear glass has a glare on it. Any headlights behind you and aimed in to your rear glass are picked up by the defroster lines creating a distracting hazard. This condition presents whether the glass is stock or has tint on it applied by Kia. The attached photos included the condition with and without the tint. Over a four month process, Kia has acknowledged the issue but refused to make any attempt to fix the it despite the vehicle being under warranty.
