2016 Acura ILX owner complaints

This is a white car with no after-dealer modifications. The paint is peeling from around the windshield and rear window.

The car has an open recall. Maus Acura in tampa said if it doesn't need repaired at the time they will close the recall without repairs! They are refusing to give me loaner and said they are not fixing it.

My car does not start, before that the car start to misfire and loss power at 60 mph on the highway ,and then take it to fix it, put a new high pressure fuel pump because i had a p0087 dtc, it say low pressure on the fuel rail, after the change the car does the same and see a recall for that problem online

Brakes squeak when stopping "loud noise" dealer told me that is normal home-link is short in range - dealer told me that is normal backup sensors - no on and off switch and makes beep when putting into reverse. - dealer told me that was normal. Backup camera - blurry and is worst at night very unsafe - dealer told me that was normal that he tested 4 2016 ilx and that all the same.

"takata recall" I was involved in a wreck with an 18 wheeler. I was in the right lane traveling south on hwy 59 right outside of garrison, tx and the 18 wheeler was in the left lane. The 18 wheeler came into my lane hitting my rear drivers side bumper. This knocked my vehicle out of the right lane and perpendicular to the left lane. Then the front of the 18 wheeler hit my entire drivers side and plowed my vehicle down the highway a significant distance. Afterwards my car went into a tail spin. My vehicle stopped in the median lane facing south on hwy 59 with the hood of my vehicle pointed into the left northbound lane. The crash report states a speed of 75 MPH. My drivers side airbags failed to deploy when I was struck by the 18 wheeler.

The contact stated that the air bags did not deploy upon impact. The contact also stated that the driver side window shattered into several pieces as a result of the impact. The contact did not received medical attention at the scene. A police report was filed and the vehicle was totaled at the scene. The vehicle was then towed to an independent tow yard. The contact sought medical treatment after the accident for glass that had been lodged into various parts of her body. The next day, the contact went to her primary doctor where an x-ray discovered a bulging disc in her back and bruises to her left

Takata recall. Taking a long time for resolution.

Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2016 Acura ilx. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v061000 (air bags). The part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Tl* the contact owns a 2016 Acura ilx. While the vehicle was undergoing an oil change, a leak from the passenger side intermediate bearing seal was found. The leak could create a loss of power transfer to the wheels and cause the vehicle to stop suddenly. A parked vehicle would roll if the parking brake were not applied. Naples Acura (659 airport-pulling rd, naples, fl 34104, (239) 330-4212) was contacted and stated that the VIN was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was contacted and refused to assist with the repair cost. The failure mileage was 86,599.

From second month of buying car, battery drained, Acura towing came and towed car to a nearby dealership and replace battery under warranty. Took car down to dealership that I purchased from about nose in front driver wheel hole and problems with the electrical components of the car. They stated "car is new drive it more" the electrical power stirring, the battery drains quickly(problem with fuse), the brakes system sets off sensors, ABS light on, airbag light on (all though dealership stated they repaired that recall). Noticed loss of power, car would randomly go into limp mode while driving, I’d have to pull off to the side and restart the vehicle. Sometimes would hesitate or jerk.(this happened on the free way since I’m frequently on them) driveshaft feels likes it’s not performing 100%

On 12-28-16 as I was leaving for work. My engine would not start. Pedal to push down and start button was not working. All icons on my car popped up and says malfunction on all level. It also made weird sounds in front and inside the car. I called cerritos Acura for assistance and spoke with service adviser-don,who indicated he has been aware of new car with battery issue. He asked that I replaced my battery first and bring it to them. I called aaa,who verified my battery is bad with pacific tow. They couldn't replace it cuz they ran out of battery. My car couldn't lock so I had it towed to my house with a flat bed. Next day, Acura towed my car to dealership, my car is not able to start period. Windows can't go up, they couldn't check odometer,couldn't lock. All icons shows malfunction. I

Codep0087 the car loses power from acceleration and stalls and is scary in busy intersections with children in the car i search with my vin as there is a recall and mine is not connected when it needs to be replaced and under recall

The car displayed multiple errors on its multi-information display. The errors include brake system problem, ABS problem, road departure mitigation system problem, and adaptive cruise control problem. Those error messages went away on my way to elk grove Acura but I was able to record them on my phone. There was still an error message in the acuralink system for the electric power steering that I showed the service advisor. He deleted the message without telling me and said those errors are caused by a low battery. He went to test the battery and it tested fine so I was told that there was nothing to fix. He sent me home after refuse my request to document the errors with Acura. He made it like I never brought the car in and those problems never existed.

1st incident - on oct 17th 2017, on my way back from gym and this is a street drive. I was approaching a stop sign which is on a sort of a hill. I pressed the brakes and the car accelerated insteat and I could not stop at the stop sign. I did press it again harder and the car stopped but I had already crossed the stop sign by then. I was confused and scared but assumed that it was my fault and continued home driving carefully. 2nd incident - on the same day on my way to work, the exact same thing happened and again I pressed very hard on the brakes the second time and that helped.
