My 4 year old Chrysler started giving off a very strong smell of fresh gasoline each time I filled up the tank. The fumes were so strong I had the car on a lift looking for leaks in the rear of the car. There was no visible leaking of gasoline. The smell was also super strong out side of the rear and sides of the car to the point of fear of someone walking by and dropping a cigar and blowing up from the fumes. The smell was there while sitting and moving. The dealer advised me not to add more than 1/8 of a tank of gas from empty or the fuel would escape from the crack or hole and cause the cancerous smell. The tech at the dealer reported that the fuel was leaking at the filler connector.

When gas tank is filled with more that 3/4 of a tank of gas, fumes are very strong within the vehicle and around it. This continues until the gas tank has less than 3/4 of a tank of gas. There is a recall for the evap canister on my year, make and model...but my VIN is not included.

After a recall was performed on 6/11/19 (u08) car started skipping sporadically upon acceleration. This lead to it stalling altogether sporadically upon accelerating from a stop. The dealer (autonation Chrysler Jeep pembroke pines) has not been able to reproduce the problem after 3 weeks and, because it does not show up in the computer, the dealer says it's like it hasn't happened. They have no idea of how to repair my car. It is still at the dealer. I have shown them a photo of the error message on my dashboard: shift to p then desired gear, and a video of the gearshift blinking in drive position. The only way the car will move when this happens is after I place the car in park and then back in drive. This is very hazardous as I am in traffic when this happens at a stop sign or stop l

Door panels are separating from all interior doors. Separating has caused issues with doors locking and airbag deployment. This is an issue the manufacturer has been aware of for years yet still manufactures cars with this issue. Chrysler and Dodge vehicles. Issue is so common that replacement parts, which are not covered by manufacturer's warranty and can cost anywhere from $1000+ per door, are backordered.

I was driving about 50mph and things started shutting down like the radio and the instrument panel said the car was going into power saving mode. I had about 5 miles to my destination and my car stalled right before I got there but I kept up my speed and was able to coast in. I tried starting it just to see and got nothing. Tow truck came about an hour later and I was able to start it to back it up but when I turned it off, it would not start again. Even being a woman I knew this was not a case of dead battery as it happened while driving. My car was towed to my mechanic and sure enough, the alternator was bad on a 4 year old Chrysler with approximately only 30,000 miles! Apparently there is a recall already on my same year/make/model however "supposedly" the hemi's weren't affected.

The bolts were loose on the driveshaft on the all-wheel-drive, which caused them to have to replace the entire driveshaft! If the driveshaft would’ve broke, whoever was driving the vehicle, whether it be me, or with my son in it, we would’ve wrecked and possibly died! The problem has been confirmed with a certified dealer! There is no warning signals. There was nothing and there is a recall on the same. There is a recall for the exact same problem as my car, and now they will not cover it because it doesn’t show up on the Vin! This is a very dangerous safety issue and Chrys learning to address this as soon as possible! Especially after one of their managers told me it would be paid for if I had a diagnosed with a certified dealer and now they’re saying they’re not paying for it

I was sitting at a stop light waiting to make a left turn when the electrical power steering randomly failed. This issue made it near impossible to turn the car and caused me to almost crash into a light pole when I tried to make the left turn. I then made an attempt to turn into a parking lot to get off the road almost causing me to wreck the car a second time. I have been told by multiple mechanics that this electrical power steering failure is not a common issue with newer vehicles. I want to submit this claim to make it known this make and model has this issue

On low beam headlights produce very low light making it difficult to drive at night. High beams produce lots of light and is great. Went to dealer and was told they have had other complaints about the headlights. They have no fix for this. Called Fiat-Chrysler customer service and they have no fix for this problem. My only fix at this time is to drive with at night with high beams on. I purchased this vehicle 0n 08/18 as a pre owned program car.
