A loud buzz sound happens when I lock my vehicle or when my door automatically locks. It doesn't matter if the vehicle is stationary or in motion. When it locks it makes a very loud noise
2016 Dodge grand caravan, driver side rear sliding door. Door lock makes a loud buzzing sound when it locks automatically, or using the fob. It happens while driving and the van hits 15 miles an hour with the auto lock, and when stopped using the lock button on the arm rest or with the fob. This appears to be a common problem with this vehicle.
The actuator on both sliding doors have been a problem with this car. They both have been stuck where the door does not close and lock. Also the door has been closed before where my child has been almost hurt due to door not opening back up due to safety option with the door. I have had other issue where the the tailgate door does not open and close in the back it work went wants to. Most incidents occurred in stationary and motor running cases. The actuator locking mechanism happens while driving 15 MPH. If lock the doors this occurs to. Had dealership look at these issue and they charged to fix one of the sides already. Now the the other side is happening. They want almost a 1000.00 to fix. Have been reading complaints of other owners of this year has been a issue with this model of car.

Left hand sliding door lock will not unlock, I can here the lock try to open but does not open
Looks like there's a design or defective part on the driver side (Left) window. It is unable to open. This is the second time that the window unable to open, the first time happened in around late 2019 early 2020. It was the window power switch issue and I had it replaced. Recently the window stopped working again. This can be a potential safety issue if the car is drove into a river or in a high water area and the window cannot be opened for driver to escape.
Rear lift won't open sometimes and not manually either. Passenger sliding door makes a buzzing sound when unlocked

Tl* the contact owns a 2016 Dodge grand caravan. While driving approximately 45 MPH, there was an abnormal sound emitting from the transmission. While making a right turn with the accelerator pedal depressed, the vehicle failed to respond. In addition, the check engine warning indicator illuminated and the vehicle failed to shift into gear. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the transmission pump and torque converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 16v461000 (power train). A dealer and the manufacturer were not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 76,000.
Our 2016 Dodge grand caravan stalls while driving. There is no indication when it will happen. When it does happen, the dash indicators light up briefly and the engine loses all power. This has happened numerous times while driving in traffic on the road. I have seen hundreds of similar complaints online for this vehicle. We are able to restart the vehicle after coming to a complete stop, but the check engine light is not on and there are no engine codes when we restart. Many of the complaints I have read state that the mechanics can't figure out what is wrong because there is no code and can't immediately recreate the issue. We have had the same experience. Yet it continues to happen. Over and over. My vehicle is in the 5th generation of this model (2008 - 2020). According to wikipedia, w

Sliding door locks cannot be operated from outside of the vehicle, once the lock actuator fails. The button on the inside, (both upper console and B pillar button) will not operate the door. The door can only be opened manually after manually moving the lock switch. Small or older passengers would not be able to exit after a crash, and could not be assisted without breaking the window.
I have a 2016 Dodge grand caravan and every time I unlock the door or lock it it makes this loud buzzing noise, the door works fine it opens and close. But when using the unlock button from the key everyone can hear the load buzzing noise took the car to dealer and they stated the problem was a faulty door lock actuator. They want $650.00 dollars to fix the problem.

Was driving home from work (on city streets) and noticed that the engine seemed to be idling higher than normal RPMs. Van would not shift from first gear and would not accelerate beyond about 30 MPH, very sluggish, while RPMs rose above 3K and engine made a grinding/whining sound. No warning lights of any kind came on while driving or while stopped. While stopped at a traffic light, heard several loud clunks from under the hood and van had difficulty accelerating from stop. Was able to get it to the shop where they diagnosed transmission failure - the mechanics couldn't get it out of first gear by the time they were done looking at it and had to push it off the lift. Total cost of a remanufactured transmission plus new hubs and axles because they couldn't get the old ones removed without
steering 1 complaint shown
While driving the entire vehicle including all functional systems simply shuts off. This has happened 2 times in the last 2 months. All systems are lost. Brakes, steering, engine, etc. There is no advanced waring or indications. There are no engine warning lights. The vehicle has been taken into the dealership twice to fix this malfunction with no success/progress. This is catastrophic failure because all vehicle controls are lost. Both times the vehicle was being driven. Once in the city and the other while on the highway.

Was sitting at gas station with the van at an idle. The check engine light came on. After running diagnostics it was determined it had a cylinder 4 misfire. I had the spark plug and ignition coil replaced and still have the cylinder 4 misfire. Has been determined that the cylinder head has gone bad and needs to be replaced. I was also told mopar has had problems like this in the past.
cruise control 1 complaint shown
At various speeds from 35mph to 70mph, van will accelerate without manual input to the accelerator pedal. To stop the acceleration, the pedal must be "smashed" several times before the throttle responds. It is as if the cruise control acceleration spontaniously activates even though cruise control is not ON or being used. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!!

The passenger (right) side rear sliding door has gotten stuck and will not unlock manually. It has been stuck for about a year and after going to the dealer they’re claiming it’s a common defect that is hard to repair. We are unable to enter the car from the passenger side rear sliding door and hopefully the driver side sliding door doesn’t get stuck, otherwise we will be unable to exit the car, which can be excessively dangerous while in an accident type incident. This door being stuck is already reasonably dangerous since our kids are unable to exit the vehicle curb side and must exit on the drivers (left) side of the vehicle. Door became stuck 3 years after it was new, with just under 45,000 miles on the car. When trying to unlock the door with the automatic door button it will just mak
