Strong gasoline smell coming from the engine bay every morning at start up. I removed protective plastic lining from the under carriage to identify the issue. I identified a lot of gasoline dripping from the top portion of the engine compartment where the High Pressure Fuel Pump is located. There was no warning or check engine lights that alerted of this issue of a gasoline leak. This is very dangerous as it could cause the vehicle to catch fire.

The Panoramic roof glass exploded suddenly. Throwing shattered glass pieces on the Highway and into the cabin of the car. No object or environmental conditions caused this incident. It just exploded while driving ~ 50mph

Fuel line leak: the temperature in s. Florida hit a low of 45 degrees tonight on 1 dec 2020, first noting the issue described. Upon return home from an 8 mile total trip to the store, my daughters exited the vehicle and noted a strong gasoline odor. Upon investigation myself, I found gasoline pooling behind the engine where the main fuel line connects to a rubber hose. The pooling was on the rear of the undercarriage cover as also described below. Similar case found online: https://www.benzworld.org/threads/gasoline-leak.2936569/ "there is a fuel leak where the steel line from the tank connects to a rubber hose near the firewall. There is apparently a revised fuel line connector available, no recall as yet. This joint is apparently part of the low-pressure fuel system (4 bar), not t

While driving on the I-75 north, the sunroof exploded as indicated in the picture attached. It is still unclear if the sunroof shattering was from a stray rock on the highway, or if the sunroof exploded on its own, however my concern is how the sunroof shattered and the quality of the material/glass used. What type of glass is used in this vehicle for it to shatter as it did? Is this perhaps a sign of cheaper material being used on the sunroof. There are more pics than can show more of the damage.

While driving on the I-5 into downtown san diego we heard a loud bam, a moment later heard cracking then shattered glass from my sunroof fell into the car. There was no one directly around us.

With a low milage car receiving a P052E positive crankcase ventilation regulator valve performance issue.

10/30/2022 ODI #11491514.0

My car has P052E code with a message of Positive Crankcase Ventilation Regulator Valve Performance. My car mileage is only 13,700 as of today. I think this is a cause of a deflective part and this should be a recall item. FYI, Wen I contact a Mercedes dealership and they asked me a cost of $2,500 to fix this issue. Thank you,

Refer to 2016 glc-300 complaints about screeching service brakes and copy/paste complaints here. 2017 model has the same screeching noises and car was purchased in august 2016. Going slowly in reverse or forward from cold start will cause loud screeching noises. My neighbors have confronted me about the car noises. It's absurd that the documented issues from the 2016 model continues in the 2017 model. Dealers are aware and have said applying brake paste does not help. A larger fix is still in the works. The noise is also making us attempt to back out of the driveway with as little braking as possible. After driving a few miles the screeching will mostly stop. There have been other occasions when it has not--likely due to wet or cold weather conditions. As of 12/29/2016, dealer is sa

Bought car 3 days ago and brakes squeal upon backing out of garage and sometimes applying when stopping! Specifically asked salesman if Mercedes had problems with brakes making noise as we went through this with a vw toureg and was told no they do not have this problem. Called salesperson today and was informed now that they are aware of this issue and its normal and should only happen when car has been sitting and its cold or they got wet. Told if it goes more times than that bring into service???? Very disappointed we were bold factly lied to and now have another car that appears to have brake noise issues.

The dealer (euro motorcars bethesda, 7020 arlington rd, bethesda, md, 20814, 301-986-880) stated that the parts were unavailable for the repair. When the vehicle is in motion, or still, the driver's side cover for the seatbelt/airbag will not stay attached. This is located on the driver's seat and is visible when entering and exiting the car. I am not really concerned about the cosmetic issue as much as the safety issue. With the side impact airbags, this is a safety hazard. If the bag deploys who knows what will happen to the floating part? Will the airbag, or seatbelt even deploy, or work as it should? This is also a safety issue because you can be injured by the hard plastic that is hanging there. The piece can also get caught under our feet while driving as it does not stay in place. I reported this the 3rd day and had it repaired 3 other times. I have had my car and it has been in place only 5 days in 2 years, 2 month

Vehicle key-less entry locked out the driver and passenger with keys inside the vehicle while parked. Talked to other Mercedes glc300 owners and they are experiencing same issue. This happened late at night with my wife and 7 year old daughter in a high crime area while I was out of town. Mercedes roadside assistance charged us $99.95 to unlock vehicle. This is a life threatening defect and should be acknowledged and addressed by Mercedes immediately.

The steering column has stopped moving up/down. I guess due to some latency build up (after having tried to adjust the steering a few times prior to the drive) caused the steering to move down (one time incident) while driving and caused momentary loss of steering control due to slippage and had to pull over to the shoulder of the freeway. While this was a one time incident it could become a safety issue...this seems to be a rampant issue (up/down movement getting jammed) on all MB vehicles and anything related to critical vehicular controls should be flagged as such.

The seat belt latch in the second seating row, the outboard seatbelt latch plate retracted into the area between the c-pillar paneling and the rear side paneling. The rear occupant was not be able to fasten the seat belt latch. The latch plate retracted behind the panel and the seat belt for the affected rear seat was not be available for fastening. I was able to grab the latch plate with a pliers and bring it out from behind the panel but I am afraid this situation will occur again. I checked my VIN against you checker and it says NO RECALL is pending. I assume MB did not include this VIN in its report to you or falsely claimed the vehicle was repaired. reference # 2018030012, May 2018
