My vehicle stalled on a busy street and could not be restarted. Other drivers stopped and assisted me pushing the vehicle to a nearby intersecting street, which placed everyone in imminent danger of being hit by another car. Vehicle was towed to the dealer who has performed all the service work on my car. The dealer diagnosed the issue as failure of the high-pressure fuel pump. Warning messages appeared after my vehicle was already in distress. The car is currently at the dealership awaiting repair. There has been a litany of complaints and issues relating to high-pressure fuel pumps failing on vehicles like mine.

Safety recall in april with still no fix or even estimated time frame on fix as of november.

There is a rotten foul odor coming out of the car vents when the car is first started and the air conditioner is not turned on. The smell slowly disappears when turning on the air conditioner.

At-fault vehicle (charged with improper lane usage) in Toyota Corolla attempted to abruptly merge left from "local lanes" going north of IL 53 to the "express" lanes hitting a Toyota Camry which veered into my front right tossing me across 3 lanes taking out 70' of guardrail and totaling my 2018 BMW X1. My airbags did not deploy. My engine came away from the chassis and left front wheel came away from the vehicle as well. It is my opinion at least one airbag/safety restraint should have been deployed. I submitted a report to this department February 1, 2022. Serious highway accident in Chicago suburbs whereby car was totaled. Engine came away from chassis after ramming into and taking out 50 feet of guardrail and coming to a screeching halt. Left front wheel came away from vehicle in its entirety. No front, side or overhead airbags deployed whatsoever. Traveling at 50MPH at time of accident. I have pictures if required.

Sun visors are too short / small and don't help on a sunny day. May as well not have them at all especially if you don't have an auto-tinted windshield. We find this to be a seriously dangerous situation. Also, car hesitates when accelerating at times and engine also sounds rough after driving a few minutes.

In November I noticed a noise when steering. I took my suv to the mechanic shop and they located the following recall from your website: recall 19V601000 the tie rod assembly. I contacted BMW of North America and they cannot locate this recall with my VIN.

On a sunny day, I drived with my family through the highway approximately at 45 miles per hour, sudendly a very strong noise was listed and many small glass pieces fell on us, I stop as fast as possible to review that had beated, the sunroof was destroyed, I did not found any object that would hit us, revising in detail note that the glass had been exploited inside out, the crystal was inflated out of the vehicle, fortunately nobody leaves hurt with the glass pieces and nobody was around the car at that moment location: laredo texas date: 29/09/2018 time: 11:30 am
