The paint on both of the side mirrors have began peeling. The paint on one of the door handles have began peeling. After research, I have found that Honda has been known for this same issue on prior vehicles due to improper paint laying technique. I contacted Honda Automotives and they told me they wouldn't help me due to my vehicle not being apart of the prior "campaigns" to fix the paint on the recorded vehicles.

I was driving through an intersection when my car suddenly applied the brakes even though the vehicle in front was way ahead of me and in motion. Thankfully the driver behind me was not close enough to have collided with the rear of my vehicle. Prior to this happening as i was driving on the highway, the vehicle did mark the brake warning sign even though I was at a safe distance from the vehicle in front. This is the first time i have encountered this problem, howevever i am very scared that this could cause an accident in the future if it were to happen again.

Auto braking when going onto or off a highway ramp/exit. Vehicle is in motion and I'm concerned of getting rear ended. Doesn't always occur. When using remote start the heated front seats do not come on I have to get into the car and start it.

Safety recall #23V-858 received through USPS indicating that parts are now available at dealership. Not true. On 12/04/24 vehicle was serviced at Conicelli Honda, 1200 Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428. 610-832-1400. Service advisor advised that the safety recall parts are not available for installation. On 12/05/24 a follow up call received from the service manager indicated that Conicelli Honda has not received any safety recall parts since the notice was announced. There appears to be a disconnect between Corporate Honda and the dealership. Your attention with this matter is greatly appreciated. Honda civic 2018 manual transmission. Bumping the keychain with my knee can rotate the key in the ignition turning off the car while driving. I have a standard size key ring with a couple car keys and work/home keys. They don't hang down very far but do so far enough to contact my knee when driving. When in motion, as I shift and take my foot off the gas my knee pushes on the keys. On three occasions, all on city streets so far, this push has been enough to rotate the key in the ignition and turn off the car.

The standard OEM key fobs for Honda Civics, for several model years, and possibly for other Honda models, have a "feature" that seriously affects driver and passenger safety, and that cannot be disabled. If two buttons are depressed simultaneously on the key fob for a period of time, all of the windows go down and the doors unlock. I have encountered dozens and dozens, perhaps hundreds, of owner complaints about this "feature" on various Internet bulletin boards. Typically, the stories go, "I parked downtown in an unsafe area and I came back to my car and found that it was unlocked with all of the windows open and someone stole everything from my car," or "I parked outside just before a rain storm and I returned to my car to find all of the windows open without my knowledge and the interio

On 11/28/2018, I was driving on freeway and the air bag in my car deployed with no reason. I sent the car to the dealer for investigation. The dealer told me that the air bag is deployed because they found a dent on the rear control arm which I found hard to believe. When the air bag deployed, there was no collision, I was driving on freeway, so there is surely no bumps on the road. Even if they found a dent on the car, there is no proof that the dent is made on the same day that the air bag pops up. Hypothetically it can cause the air bag to deploy, it just means the car has design problems because scratching the bottom of the car can happen very often. It is terrifying to know that will trigger the air bag to explode. That is the reason I feel it is suspicious and it is necessary to file
