A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will replace the fuel delivery module, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 7, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated July 2026. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 93C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 16, 2025.

None of the seals from the PTU side will need to be replaced whenever the ATX stubshaft is replaced, even though V-seal (68408748A$) is in direct contact with the stubshaft, it will not avoid grease/oil leakage from transmission side. PTU V-seals are intended to act as a dust cover for stubshaft - PTU input shaft spline interface. PTU Input shaft seal (68408749A$) is intended to hold PTU oil and debris ingress; it should be replaced only if the fluid leakage is confirmed to be PTU oil and not ATX trans. fluid.
