The lane keep assist camera internally faulted and intermittent tries to work but will immediately fault out. Lights will show for adaptive cruise, lane departure, and collision avoidance. Code shows internal fault and is shown in bulletin to replace. Happened begining of 2025 like most other people.

When open the rear hatch will close unexpectedly without warning and without the key fob or any other switch being pressed. This has happened at least six times. Have to either duck away from the closing hatch or grab it to stop it. Each time the key fob was in my pocket but was not pressed. I feel the auto lift gate ( foot operated.) feature may be at fault. Some times this will occur when standing under the hatch. Other times this will occur while walking away from the vehicle. Obviously, this a dangerous condition.
6000 on odometer.collision mitigation system is too sensitive. The "brake" notice will flash on the dash screen at times where is no danger of a collision. At times the system will apply the brakes when there is no danger of a collision. This may result in vehicle being struck from the rear by a following vehicle. From what I understand this a common problem on 2019 Honda passports
At random times, the dashboard will show "BRAKE" repeatedly when there is nothing obstructing the road or any other vehicles nearby. We have also experienced at least a half dozen times when the car will flash that and engage the brakes stopping us in the middle of traffic. The braking is abrupt and will yank you harshly in the seatbelt. I have taken it to the dealership twice and Honda has said nothing can be found in the computer and "the next time it happens to take a pic or video". That is impossible to do and is now happening enough where I considering getting rid of the vehicle but hate to pass that on to another person. When happening in traffic, I cant imagine explaining to emergency response that I was rear ended when the car smashed on the brakes but Honda has no way of conf

Dealers have stalled the repair of this manufacturer defect. I have made multiple requests to repair this vehicle, two dealers state that they do not have the repair parts. This has gone on for over a year. I have reported that the vehicle has stalled, they said it was a software issue.
Forward collision warning alert (Brake) warning triggers frequently when opposing traffic is present. Sometimes the brakes apply that has led to several near miss collisions from being rear ended. The blind spot warning false triggers during wet conditions. Both of these items are distracting and first is dangerous. The two different dealers I have contacted are aware of these issues and have stated that Honda has no solution. One of the dealers said they could check/adjust the radar for $270 but may not fix the problem.

Noted that the dashboard blanked out momentarily while driving on the interstate. The speedometer came back, first, followed by the remaining dashboard items. The instrument panel control module software update (recall) had been completed 3 weeks previously and approximately 1200 miles prior to this event. Did not experience this issue before the software update. Returned the vehicle to the dealer for recheck but they did not note any software error codes.
Since I have leased the vehicle, the collision mitigation breaking system is coming on when not needed, at times during highway speeds.. I have been nearly rear-ended three times, the latest causing the man behind me to almost go off the road into a ditch (thankfully he was able to just barely avoid this) and it is happening when my husband is driving the car as well. It is very startling and worrisome. The car actually nosedives and comes to a complete stop at times'other times it breaks suddenly and then releases or I have to put my foot down on the gas while trying to disengage the system. I have taken it into the dealership a few times already and they are not able to fix it as it cannot be replicated when they have had it (weeks can go by in between when it happens) and I have express
As we were driving down I-65 in kentucky (driving back home to michigan), the vehicle lost functions / communications of the infotaiment system, we were relying on the GPS system via "apple play" to determine what exit to take. From prior experince with this "issue", I knew we needed to pull the side of the highway and shut the vehicle off, then turn back on, and thats what we did. It worked, but was not safe on that busy highway.
Forward collision, Adaptive cruise control and all enhanced safety features related to the camera and front of vehicle sensor stopped working. Vehicle warning lights and messages do light up for every start. Only option has been to have a $2,500 repair bill for a 6 year old vehicle to install a new camera system by the dealer. This a well known manufacturer issue among owners. Infotainment system is losing network connections and completely going black. The system is only available for brief stretches after restarting the vehicle and will go black while driving. There is a known recall for the coaxial cable (MOST connection loss) but apparently my vehicle is not part of this recall. Again this is a well known manufacturer issue with this year and model vehicle. Appears to be a wiring harne
Driving my car on belt parkway, I connected my phone to use android auto, the radio stopped working, head unit said "audio is off" and also the instrument panel was not answering to my commands. In the same drive I almost crush with a vehicle coming from my right side because the alert system didn't light on to warn me. After few more miles I could pull over, turn off the car, opened the door, close the door, turn on the engine , connect my phone and same problem came out. I have only 465 miles with my car and I already contacted the dealership 2 times regarding this problems. I also ask the dealership to give me my old car back but they refused. What should I do. I am very worried about this car and I don't feel comfortable and safe driving it anymore.
Several times, the car shuts off at stop lights or stop signs. It has a feature that is supposed to save gas and put it into low power mode. But sometimes, especially if I take my foot off the break and press on the gas too quickly, the car completely shuts off and goes into neutral. This is VERY dangerous. Once I was on a hill when this happened and the car began rolling down and I nearly hit another vehicle. I have seen hundreds of other such complaints on the Honda Pilot. This is it's cousin, the Honda Passport and likely has the same power failure. Honda needs to recall these immediately before someone gets hurt. (It may also be related to the distance calculator being incorrect on my car. It often says I have over 1,000 miles left on my single tank.) There is for sure somethi

Traveling up a hill of 5-degree incline. 20 MPH speed limit. Came to complete stop, pushed reverse button. Back over prevention camera did not activate. Did not depress gas pedal. Vehicle rolled backward 35 feet before coming to rest partially in traffic and partially in private driveway. Instrument panel indicated vehicle P for park throughout the entire event. After coming to rest: (partially in traffic) Vehicle would not shift out of park. Error messages on Instrument Panel stated: "Stop Driving When Safe. Transmission Problem. See Manual." Check Engine was not illuminated. Turned off car and back on. Same error message was still present. Gear selector buttons would not respond and vehicle remained in Park, partially stuck in traffic. Twice the tires were found to be flat before driving. It was taken to the local Honda dealership for inspection. They would inflate the tires but stated that they could not find the issue. Because this is my families car, and I have 2 small children that are driven around in the car, I have opted to replace the tires for fear of the tires failing while driving. Thanks Honda and Continental.
