"FCA" system disabled radar blocked" error came on while test driving on 3 separate occasions but no diagnostic code recorded, prior to taking possession they replaced a camera they thought to be the cause 11 days later during a snowy morning I got the same error again. Again it didn't register a code and I was told by the dealership no code, no problem. Spoke with Hyundai customer relations and was told I have to take it back to the dealership for them to diagnose it, and the condition has to be reproduced for them to note the error but We have not had snow since that morning therefore the system error has not reappeared. The likelihood of being able to reproduce the circumstance during business hours and be able to get it to them to witness the situation is minuscule at best. If this sa
Gas tank leak upon delivery. After inspecting the leak, technicians were able to identify the manufacturer had issued repairs on gas tanks that were too thin and as a result, the vehicle we purchased was not properly repaired and leaked fuel.
I have unusable camera in my 2019 Sante Fe, that is not included in a recent recall. Tried to find what “Problem” actually is on current recall to compare to mine. My picture is too bright and contrast ruins ability to identify objects behind me. Is the recall based on a similar problem? As your current Hyundai recall states: "An inoperative rearview camera will reduce rearward visibility while driving in reverse, increasing the risk of injury to bystanders." Local dealership has tried to fix, but after almost a month has not. Question is should recall be extended beyond current model years?
My 2019 Hyundai santa fe had sudden unintended acceleration while I was trying to park the car in the parking lot. It suddenly crossed over the parking cement block and jumped into the sidewalk landscape and then stopped. The airbag also deployed due to this incident. I did not step on the gas pedal.
Rearview cameras are unusable due to high brightness and contrast issues. Seems same problem possibly as recent recall even though not in same model years. Hyundai dealership has been unable to resolve since November 6 and as recall highlights "increasing the risk of injury.." Attached photo of condition, usually worse than this photo in bright sunlight.

Tl* the contact owns a 2019 Hyundai santa fe. While driving 17 MPH, the bca braking system engaged, the vehicle lost power, and all the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact turned the vehicle off and back on, which returned it back to normal. The vehicle was taken to o'brien Hyundai ft myers (2850 colonial blvd, fort myers, fl 33966, (239) 880-8631) where it was test driven for approximately 77 miles; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided the contact with case number: 16693618 and a loaner vehicle. The contact referenced NHTSA id number: 10167260. The failure mileage was approximately 16,000.
Oil Pan leaks after an oil change. Oil pan has a hairline crack just below the drain plug after normal tightening of the plug. Excessive oil was found on my driveway. No obvious engine damage, considering the vehicle was only moved from one spot to the other. The dealer stated the oil pan isn't covered under warranty. I simple internet search revealed there was a high number of complaints. It was a "Do It Yourself repair." The cost to fix was to replace the oil pain, new tools and 5 quarts of oil.
Previous Hyundai vehicle caught fire. At the time the cause was unknown. Was forced by Hyundai to buy back vehicle and purchased a brand new Hyundai vehicle. I was never told that this was a brand wide issue and that the new vehicle I purchased would end up under the same recall that caused previous vehicle to catch fire. I am terrified to drive this vehicle. I contacted Hyundai to explain the situation and have been dealing with an unprofessional customer representative. I am fearful for my life in this vehicle and explained when I purchased the new one that I did not want to ever go through this situation again.
Vehicle is consuming oil at an exceptionally fast rate. In October 2025, when taken in for an oil change and my complaint of a burning smell upon quick acceleration, the technician documented no oil was found on the dipstick. Just a month later, in November 2025, the oil level was already extremely low, the vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and an oil consumption test is currently being administered. The vehicle is scheduled for an engine replacement in January 2026 after the consumption test is concluded.

•What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? When ambient temperature is at or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, sufficient heat is not produced from the vehicles defroster to keep the windshield from icing. Also, sufficient heat is not produced to keep vehicle occupants warm. A Hyundai dealership confirmed the problem and replaced the thermostat, but the problem still persists. •How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Visibility through the windshield cannot be maintained. Also, the cabin temperature is insufficient for safe transport of young children. •Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes. •Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insu
While driving my new 2019 santa fe I noticed the first time it rained I had severe reduced visibility in the left portion of the windshield where the wipers don't reach. The rain pools there and does not get any better than pictured. This is a safety issue as you can not see out of 15% of the windshield and could cause an accident.

Transmission: yes, available upon inspection I own a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. I have brought it in for repairs on the transmission a couple of times. The check engine light has come on but the computer was not displaying the problem. I am aware that this is not uncommon for the year, make, and model. Recently, I was driving my car on a high-speed highway when the transmission went out. While suppressing the gas, the transmission slipped and would not accelerate. As cars were passing me on either side, my car decelerated and cars behind me came close to rear-ending me. Again, this was at high speeds and put my safety in jeopardy. I was finally able to find a gap in the cars and able to get to the shoulder but not after several minutes of unsafe conditions. After this incident, I brought it
Upon going for an oil change at Express Lube in Newton , NJ I was advised that there are multiple widespread & ongoing problems with a crack that forms in the oil pan next to the drain/fill plug. My vehicle was diagnosed with that very problem. I believe a a recall to should be done by Hyundai to replace these oil pans. Thank you

At various times the vehicle will not start. It takes multi times to to start the vehicle. The starter and battery have been tested and both are in excellent condition. Both key phob batteries have been replaced and the vehicle at times won’t start but the dash lights turn on. After twice of trying to start the breaks get really stiff. I’ve learned if I get out of the vehicle and open the hood and close it the car will start then any other time getting out and back in it does not start. I even placed the key phob in the designated location of the battery died and still won’t start. The check engine is not on either.
The contact owns a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle there were multiple warning messages displayed on the instrument panel and the vehicle would not accelerate to exceed 10 MPH. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who disconnected the battery and reset the computer and the failure was remedied. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 42,000.
