While driving on the while driving on the highway at about 60 MPH and taking a slight left or right curve we hit an expansion joint on the bridge. The front wheels started shaking uncontrollably until I came to a full stop on the side of the road. Very dangerous safety concern, especially on a car that has not been off-road and with less than 18000 miles and no modifications. This issue is very well documented all over the internet.

Lost all steering while driving on highway coming up to a corner, extreme safety risk. Jeep repair facility can not diagnose and repair my vehicle and it has been out of service for over 6 months this year and its at repair facility unable to be repaired-STARS has been involved. Loss of steering while driving my 6 year old granddaughter, we almost crashed into another vehicle, could have been deadly for both of us, she now won't ride in any car feeling she will get in accident.

Car as a very obvious steering play, more obvious at speed above 40mph. The Jeep is hard to keep on lane in normal highway driving and dangerous.

My power steering has completely locked up multiple times while driving on freeways, highways, and residential streets. This issue has occurred in all types of weather, including rainy days and dry days, so that doesn't seem to have any sort of impact on the issue. When the power steering locks up the vehicle throws around 50 codes, which the dealership has reset more than once. Each time the steering locks up I have to slam on my breaks and turn my car on and off multiple times until the steering starts working again. I have taken my Jeep to the dealership twice - on 11/30/2019 and today (12/29/2019) - and have called many, many times trying to get this issue resolved. No one seems to care or know how to solve the problem. I picked my Jeep up from the dealership for the second time earli

When on the highway, it starting shaking vigorously. I had to slow down to stop it from shaking. I went from about 70 MPH to about 35 MPH in order to stop it from shaking. I tried looking up what it could be and found that it's been called the "death wobble." I've also checked it for recalls and nothing came up at this time. I tried calling fca, however after being on hold for more than 2 hours, I hanged up. I hope you guys can help with answers on this as it seems that I'm not the first one to experience this. Thank you.

Concern: Suspension, steering, and electrical system malfunction Description of the Problem: While driving at highway speeds (approximately 75 mph), the vehicle experiences a wiggling or unstable sensation in the suspension, making the car feel unsafe. At the same time, the steering wheel becomes stiff and difficult to turn. Additionally, a warning message appears stating “Service Shifter.” When this occurs, the electrical system freezes, affecting vehicle functions. This electrical malfunction lasts for 1 to 2 days, during which systems do not respond properly before eventually resetting on their own. Safety Concern: The suspension instability, loss of steering responsiveness, and electrical failure at high speeds present a serious safety risk to the driver and others on the road. Req

While driving on the highway at approximately 70 MPH, the Jeep began to shake (wabble) violently. The steering column became hard to control due to the shaking of the Jeep. Slowing down did not seem to help so I pulled off the freeway and came to a complete stop. This alleviated the issue temporarily. However, the shaking/wabble occurred 6 more times during my 200-mile trip. I took my Jeep into the dealer to get fixed and waited 3 weeks for the part to come in. During this time, the wabble happened twice at freeway speeds (65 MPH+). Both times, I had to pull off the freeway and come to a complete stop to remedy the issue. My servicing dealer replaced the steering dampener as they said that was the issue. Unfortunately, at freeway speed, I encountered the shaking/wabble again. Speeds of 50

I was driving a 2019 Jeep wrangler that I bought at the end of january 2020, I barely have 3,300 miles on it, due to covid and remote working. I was driving on rte. 287 south doing 70 MPH I must have hit a bump or imperfection in the road, all of a sudden the whole car started to violently vibrate and shake, I had to go from the left lane over to the right shoulder while slowing down to about 30 until the shaking stopped and also was able to exit to a local road. I've driven this highway several hundred times and never had this problem, thankfully the roads are not as crowded as they usually would have been and an accident was avoided. I have read online that other people have had this same issue of a "death wobble" but I have not received an official recall from Jeep or Fiat Chrysler

Bought the 2019 Jeep jl certified used nov 24. Told the dealer that the Jeep pulls to the right and the vehicles alignment might be off. The told me they did alignment and everything is good. At highway speeds the Jeep wanders all over the road it is very hard to control. I will be bringing it to a different dealer because it does not feel safe.

The steering is loose and vhicule wanders at highway speed. It's very difficult to keep in a straight line at highway speed. Feels extremely unsafe. The dealer bas changed the stearing dumper and that's no better. It's been like this since the purchase in december 2019.

I am reporting a defect with the driver-side sun visor on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The sun visor mounting mechanism is faulty and has broken/detached during normal use. When this occurs, the visor drops down unexpectedly and obstructs the driver’s forward view. This creates a serious safety hazard, as the visor can suddenly block visibility while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash. The failure happened without excessive force or misuse, only routine flipping and positioning of the visor. I am aware that many other owners of 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited vehicles have experienced the same sun visor failure, suggesting a widespread defect in the design or materials used. This appears to be a known and recurring issue affecting multiple vehicles of the same model

The defrost is absolutely terrible. Both left and right vents do not push air causing the right and left side of the windshield to freeze up and windshield wipers to freeze up. Had to pull over in an unsafe location because visibility went to zero and created a very unsafe situation for me and my family.

Please check if there is a flaw in 2018-20 Jeep wrangler windshields. They easily crack, multiple times. There are entire websites and community groups experiencing this problem. I also own a 2014 wrangler, and have replaced the windshield twice. With my 2019 model, I have had multiple cracks and replaced two windshields in under 3500 miles of a brand new car. Yet, the 2019 model has a more angled windshield than the previous model. The issue occurs at road to highway speeds and simple pebbles. Again, my two replaced windshields had multiple streaks, cracks, spiders, et al before replacing. Something is wrong with the glass Jeep/mopar use.

I have had both w12 & y07 recalls done and didn't have any problems with my clutch before then, now my clutch is making a strange noise and slipping. A software update to degrade power to my engine doesn't fix a clutch problem. Recalls are suppose to fix problems, not create more.

I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler, which is part of a recall for what is known as the 'Death Wobble', meaning that when driving over the smallest bump at highway speeds (~60mph), the vehicle begins to shake uncontrollably. This is a known recall and we had it fixed through the recall. After the fix at the dealer, the same death wobble problem persists again. The dealer/manufacturer is not solving the root cause, but rather putting a temporary fix on the issue. Very unsafe

Tl* the contact owns a 2019 Jeep wrangler. The contact stated that her vehicle was able to be driven, but the other vehicle was possibly destroyed. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
