2019 Lincoln Navigator owner complaints

I purchased this car used. The local lot did not disclose this well-documented history with the Navigator's transmission. I had recall work done a few months ago at an authorized Ford dealership. No warning. The vehicle stalls and pauses during acceleration (the engine does not die). This transmission issue is both dangerous and alarming, as I am unable to complete a pass. The car coasts in neutral (with traffic approaching/oncoming) during attempts to pass other vehicles.

POWERTRAIN MALFUNCTION/REDUCED POWER while on the highway! Low boost power malfunction causing excessive fuel and oil consumption, spinning/timing misfire, and reduced speed! Check engine light and powertrain malfunction lights later indicated P0365 and P0369 error codes. Dealership says I need a new timing chain and VCT selenoid. I found out this is a KNOWN ISSUE WITH 2018-2020 LINCOLN NAVIGATORS and that Lincoln has issued TSB Bulletins regarding these very issues! I am experiencing all of the symptoms - rattling when starting from a cold start, excessive oil consumption, spinning/misfiring when changing gears, crazy slow acceleration, low fuel economy. Initially the light came on in October with the Lincoln app telling me incorrect oil so I went and had my oil changed 10/30. It didn't

No warning light on dash. Issues engaging in gears. Avoided a few accidents by throwing on hazards when car wouldn't accelerate on road. When turning into oncoming traffic it wouldn't engage in gear but thankfully they braked to avoid hitting me. After that I would only drive in the neighborhood to take kids to school. When reading Ford knows this issue but still put this 10 speed transmission in vehicles. Mechanic diagnosed and had to rebuild transmission.

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious and costly transmission issue with my 2019 Lincoln Navigator. At approximately 114,000 miles, the vehicle’s transmission failed and required a full rebuild. The total repair cost was around $8,000, which I had to pay out of pocket. When I brought the vehicle to the dealership for diagnosis and repair, the technicians expressed surprise that no recall had been issued, noting that they have seen this same transmission issue in other 2019 Lincoln Navigators. They acknowledged that this appears to be a known and recurring problem among vehicles of this make and model. Before the transmission failed completely, I experienced slipping gears, hesitation, and delayed acceleration, which posed a serious safety risk

How do you have a problem with a Parking issue transmission or automatically going into parking on neutral when I was driving it started like three years ago with a little knocking sound every time I used to shift The dealer always told me that the hard shifting was something normal every time I wanna ask him to check and they did nothing. They just say it was normal now my transmission is failing and I don’t wanna be responsible because that same knock intensify and now it knocks and it breaks at the same time doing 25 to 30 miles an hour they asking for $10,000 for a new transmission which is their problem. The mechanic told me he was a mechanical failure inside the transmission. Everything else is good.

Vehicle: 2019 Lincoln Navigator (equipped with 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission). Incident Description: While operating the vehicle in normal traffic conditions, the transmission experiences severe internal hydraulic failure, resulting in a violent jolt/jerk. Immediately following this event, the vehicle’s Powertrain Malfunction Indicator (Wrench Light) illuminates, and the vehicle enters a fail-safe "limp mode." Once in this state, the transmission suffers a complete loss of gear engagement, effectively locking the driver out of acceleration. The vehicle actively resists or completely refuses to engage Drive (D) or Reverse (R), causing an unexpected loss of propulsion while navigating heavy public roadways. To temporarily regain vehicle control, the ignition must be cycled complete

Seatbelts are not functioning properly. They have been in a locked position for some time now. I have contacted Lincoln and they state a remedy is not yet available. This puts anyone driving the vehicle in grave danger without being properly restrained.

My vehicle was moving slowly in a pickup line for my child. Randomly, the seat belt retractor went off and pulled me back into the seat. Initially, I thought it was a gunshot. Smoke was all in the car. My neck/shoulder has some bruising and cuts from the seat belt. There was a seatbelt light on the dash. It has been there for some time, but the recall's hasn't been issued and it's not realistic to not have a car until FoMoCo issues the fix.

On XXX, around 7:00–8:00 PM, I was driving a 2019 Lincoln Navigator normally when the driver's seat-belt pretensioner suddenly deployed without any crash, collision, or impact. The seat belt tightened forcefully against my chest, causing an injury, and I noticed a strong chemical/fume smell immediately afterward. A [XXX] infant was in the rear seat at the time. I was evaluated by a doctor the following day and diagnosed with a contusion of the unspecified front wall of the thorax. X-rays were performed, and I am currently awaiting the results to determine whether there is any additional injury. I was prescribed pain medication. The vehicle has not yet been inspected or repaired, and the seat-belt assembly is available for inspection. There were no warning lights or messages before the dep

If the rear trunk gate is up and the vehicle is running the passenger compartment will fill with carbon monoxide very quickly. This usually will happen if loading luggage or items in the back of the vehicle while the engine runs. Certainly a risk if kids are left in the passenger compartment while the truck is being loaded when the engine is running.

5 dealerships unable to address rear camera recall in a timely manner. No definitive response from 5 dealers to include Rockwall Ford, Planet Ford, Planet Lincoln, Grapevine Lincoln, and David McDavid Lincoln in the Dallas area.

Restraints indicator lamp warning light on every time passenger gets in and buckled up. While in motion it will turn on! Dealer couldn't figure it out.

The contact owns a 2019 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated that while shifting the transmission from Reverse (R) to Drive (D), the driver's seat belt suddenly jolted her back into the seat, causing neck and shoulder pain. The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) message was displayed. A loud, gunshot-like sound was heard, and an odor similar to a deployed air bag was noticed following the incident. The contact was informed by an unknown dealer that the parts were backordered for NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V344000 (Seat Belts). The contact then notified the manufacturer by telephone regarding the incident. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

Well, the problem is with the transmission. The transmission will lurch, and it also will go into neutral while you are driving down the road, the other thing with the suspension I had repaired. But it said the drive modes were disabled and kept on throwing. Check engine lights. Not to mention, I had to have the cam. Phasers fixed last year, that was another $5000 repair.

The contact stated while driving approximately 50 MPH and depressing on the accelerator pedal, the RPM rose to 6,500 however, the vehicle began to decelerate. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to park on the side of the road and was able to continue to drive to his destination. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, who diagnosed that the vehicle was included in the unknown NHTSA Campaign Number however, the vehicle had not been repaired. The contact stated he had experience the failure on three different occasion. The vehicle was not repaired but was pending repairs. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Lincoln Navigator. The contact stated while driving approximately 75 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from underneath the vehicle. The contact later discovered that there was a hole in the rear sunroof. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the residence. A dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

3 tires developed sidewall 'tears' . All were on the right side of the car , 2 had less than 25000 miles and one had less than 500 miles (it was a replacement that I bought from the Ford dealer). Two exploded at low speed. Tire size 285/45R 22 114H

complete loss of steering control while driving , after a turn or without a turn. It feels like the steering wheel completely disconnected from the wheel control.

Back up camera does not work all the time most of the time, camera does not come on when in reverse or when camera button is pressed.

My vehicle fits all criteria for CSP 21B10 and CSP 21N03. The vehicle has 75714 miles whereas 21N03 covers up to 79,999 on this vehicle. The cold start rattle is very bad and drivability due to cam phaser issues has caused the vehicle to be not drivable, at least not safely… this vehicle meets all criteria for the recall, and the issue (confirmed by dealer - at dealership now) is the cam phasers and this recall 21N03 is the repair and they are very surprised our VIN is not listed, citing all of these vehicles require cam phaser replacement to be operable. As this is a known issue with 2018-2020 navigators with the 3.5 this should be covered by the recall.
