Front windshield cracked, first on the drivers side. Crack started halfway up near where it is glued and then spread out about 2 feet directly in the drivers view, very minor impact according to Subaru dealer. Four days later an other crack started halfway up on the passengers side also near the glue point and then spread out about 2 feet directly in the passengers view. Crack are unrelated and according to the dealer both were from minor impacts although I can not see any inpact on the passenger side. Also neither crack was there when the car was parked for the night, both were discovered in the morning.

Tl* the contact owns a 2019 Subaru outback. The contact stated while driving in the rain the windshield cracked. The vehicle was taken to ocean Subaru of fullerton (1100 s. Euclid st, fullerton, ca 92832, (714) 909-2363) and the first time they told the contact she would have to pay for the repairs on her own. The second time the failure occurred, the dealer repaired the windshield. The issue has occurred for the third time with the windshield glass being a special glass called eyesight glass with sensors in the actual glass. The repairs had to be performed at the dealer. The manufacturer had not been contacted yet. The failure mileage was 15,000.

Spontaneous crack in windshield. I am the only driver of the car. It wasn't hit by gravel or anything. Crack just appeared one day above and behind the rear view mirror. Will need to have the eyesight safety features recalibrated when I have the windshield replaced.

Windshield cracked for no apparent reason. When I parked the vehicle in front of my residence, the windshield was fine. When I came back after parking the vehicle overnight, the windshield was cracked.

I have a 2019 Subaru outback purchased dec. 26, 2018. On sept. 28, 2019, I noticed a small star like crack, about 3/16 ths of an inch in circumference on the driver's side of the front windshield. The crack was about one inch in from the edge of the windshield near the roof post. The next day, sept. 29, 2019, the star had radiated into a crack which ran all the way into the center of the windshield. At the time the car had 4,615 miles on it and it had never been off road. I took it to the Subaru dealer where I purchased the car and was told the windshield was not under warranty and was referred to a local windshield repair/replacement shop. On sept. 30, 2019 I had the windshield replaced at a cost of $ 395. I then had to take the car back to the Subaru dealer to have "eyesight" system

Went out to garage to get into my 2019 outback and noticed crack on driver side of car. Starts down low all the way to the left and tracks up and over. Crack was not there when I parked the car the night before.

While stationary at a red light, on a city street, the rear windshield spontaneously broke. The breaking was unprompted as no object was heard or seen to have hit the windshield; a review conducted by the local authorities of nearby camera footage confirmed this as well. The same issues noted by many others in the third class-action lawsuit filed against Subaru regarding their faulty windows exactly describes our situation. The local police were called on the day of the incident to file the report. Additionally, a call to the Subaru dealership was made, in which they stated they were "unaware" of any issues with their windows. The insurance company would not pay for the repair, causing us to pay $837.99 out of pocket. Documents can be provided should they be needed to further this complain

Ongoing for several months. Battery will have parasitic drain that is causing me to have to jump start the car frequently. There are no warning lamps or light. I have not gone to dealer as I read on the internet it is a DCM module that costs several hundreds to fix. Apparently this is a widespread issue and this should be covered by Subaru because of defective equipment. Thank you.

The car repeatedly drains the battery after being left for a short time (a day or 2). This has now happened at least four times and has destroyed multiple batteries. I have taken it to the dealer and complained multiple times. They check for software updates and sell me a new battery and then the same thing happens again. Because of this, the car is essentially unusable because I can't trust it to run. The problem seems to come and go, though that may simply be due to having a new battery for a while. There doesn't seem to be any indication before this problem occurs.

The vehicle has less than 12000 miles on it. Battery keeps dying. We carry a jumper cable and a battery charger all the time. Dealer refused to change the battery in june 2020 (in fort collins, colorado), dealer simply charged the battery. We don't know if it is an alternator problem, a battery problem, or other electrical systems components that keep draining battery when the vehicle is parked. This had made the car most unreliable. This is an ongoing problem, persisting for over the past 8 months.

Vehicle will not start on numerous occasions. We replaced the battery, but problem continues. Several attempts to get problem corrected by dealership service department have failed. Problem has occurred for more that 5 months now.

Battery started draining while parked when the car was about 3 years 8 months old. I got a new higher capacity battery and it also drained several times.

The battery dies after 3 days of parking inside my garage. The battery passed a test. This is the third time the issue has taken place.

12/25/2021 ODI #11444937.0

I have had battery failures in the last 34 months 3 times. I have reported this problem before. The dealer replaces my battery and gives advice about not driving enough. not keeping my fob the proper distance from the car. This is casing me to be concerned about safety issues. I know there is a class action 2020 for this problem but subaru needs to solve this issue. It is a computer on wheels and I realize that uses a great deal of electrical power but you should not be stranded because subaru refuses to solve their issues. My next step is to contact subaru but I doubt they will take any action. So I guess next step is to change cars. Its a shame as they charge a great deal of money for this car. I owned the first outback when it came out and had no problems. I am extremely disappointed i

I purchased my outback in april of 2019. While I was driving on a highway, my outback's windshield cracked in june of 2019 and my local Subaru dealership replaced the windshield during the summer of 2019. Then while I was driving on a highway in july of 2019 the windshield of my 2019 outback cracked again. Subaru outback's replacement windshields are no better than the original windshields. They are defect as well. My 2019 Subaru outback's windshield has cracked twice in an 14-month period.

12/28/2023 ODI #11562230.0

I purchased this vehicle brand new in 2020 and had never experienced any issues with the battery this year alone(2023) I have had to replace the battery 4 times. I would used the jump method leaving the to car running for at least 15 minutes before driving and then within the next month or two the battery is drained and dead again. When I took my vehicle to the dealership the mechanic already knew what the DCM would be the issue. I then called the manufacturer after doing more research and noticed that this is a very common issue and it has not been recalled yet. After performing the DCM test it was confirmed that was the issue and I am still being ask to pay the 1200.00 bill.
