The high beam headlights fail to activate, yet the blue dash indicator shows lights are on high beam. Furthermore, when on low beam the headlights do not broadcast a sufficient distance ahead or to the side to enable driver to see the road sufficiently for safe driving. This issue has been reported by almost 100 other drivers, many of whom have North Carolina addresses, but the reports also list other states such as Nevada. This is a major safety issue that is evolving currently and hopefully, you will make it a priority to contact the manufacturer for a recall. This was first noticed on 12/23/2021, but became prominent when spouse driving me home from hospital ER for unrelated injury on 12/28/2021.
I have a 2020 telluride and the headlights provide so little light that it's dangerous to drive at night. The normal beams are so diffuse they provide insufficient light forward to see the road clearly and provide no light to the sides, so you can't see what you are turning into when you turn. I called Kia and two local Kia dealers; they are aware of the problem but say they have no way to fix it. Good headlights are fundamental and, really, after 100 years of cars with headlights, you'd think they could get this right. Please force Kia to recall the cars and fix the headlights as soon as possible. Thank you. Sandra thank you. Sandra
Right high beam stopped working. Low beams work, no indicators, bulb has been changed. Jist stopped working.
Hooded projector lights provide very limited vision on dark roads. We hit a deer and have significant damage to our vehicle due to this issue. Our brights do not come on either. Nothing happens when we select the bright option.
Bright head light stopped working without any cause.
High beams failure. Yes it is available for inspection. I live/travel in rural area with large sized wildlife. I require the ability to have high beams. I haven’t taken it to a service center, nor has any inspection been conducted. No warning lights, to the contrary, the interior instrumentation shows high beams are on even though they aren’t. This has been since I purchased the vehicle 2 months ago.
The High Beams have stopped working. This is a known issue as it can be found on many forums across the internet.

The sunroof will not close. The closing mechanism broke.
Telluride recently purchased november 2019. Last week my windshield had a tiny chip and within 1 1/2 hours of me coming out of a meeting the tiny chip had expanded across my windshield. Two days ago I was driving and a small pebble (?) hit my windshield and again chipped the opposite side of my windshield. That chip has not spread as badly as the firs. I was glad to see the letter from Kia in my mailbox this week. Contacted dealership this morning to schedule appointment for repair. Hopefully replacing windshield will avoid future issues.
While driving at highway speeds (above 50mph,) the Telluride’s front windows (driver and passenger) will not roll up. It seems that the The pressure that builds up in the cabin is pulling the glass out too far and when the window tries to make the seal, it’s out of place and rolls back down. There is a temporary fix to either roll down the back seat window or the sunroof to equalize the pressure, then the front window will go up - but that took a lot of trial and error. I figured it must be a safety issue since when it happens, I am talking my concentration off of driving and trying to figure out how to get the window back up. I’ve since been on forums and Kia owner pages where I’ve read of many people running into the same issues.

My wife was driving and said that all of a sudden a crack appeared that came from the passenger side almost all the way into he field of view. After inspection, I do find a very small (smaller than a pin head) chip. She never recalls hearing something hit the vehicle.
Windshield keep getting chipped unnecessarily, I repaired it 3 times already and its being chipped 4th time. Called Kia and they told me to bring the car in to dealership for inspection and none of the dealership has any openings till 3 weeks later, and when i tell them to book appointment the call is dropped , all others are not picking up calls. called Kia Cerritos CA , Riverside CA.
While driving on the interstate at 60mph a very small pebble hit my windshield on the top rhs and put a dime sized hole in the windshield coming to a point on the inside making a complete opening. It is now starting to crack like a spiderweb. Safelite has refused to touch it and the dealership has stated it will take several weeks to get a replacement and the cost is upwards of $750.00+. This is absolutely ridiculous, when you pay this much for a vehicle and you have to return to the dealership to obtain a cheaply made product and pay a not so cheap price for it. This is absolutely highway robbery. The service department recommended I turn this over to my car insurance. After speaking with my insurance provider, I learned my premium will increase due to having to file a claim. So, b

Dash gage cluster (tach, speedometer, fuel, and engine temp) all go to zero while driving. The digital speedometer readout is also zero. Basically the entire dash is dead minus the entertainment system which functions perfectly. This also shuts down all adaptive cruise and collision avoidance systems. Restarting the vehical will not bring dash instruments back. Ocassionally cycling to door locks and or disconnecting negative battery lead will bring dash instruments or they will begin randomly begin functioning again on their own. They always malfunction and come back as an entire cluster. I also have video of the vehical in motion with the instruments dead.

My vehicle is 3 years old and the frame of my sunroof snapped. The warranty only covers the motor and the frame is what is damaged. When I called the warranty, they said this is a very common problem among Kia Tellurides. Why is this not a recall? It would cost me $4,000 to repair. This is not right.

Around Dec 13 the cooling fan started running by itself while the vehicle was in the garage for a few hours with the engine shut off, so, engine is cold.. What we do in this circumstance is starting and shutting the engine, that takes car of the situation until it happens again, sometimes right away or a few hours later or next day. I can't identify a relay that controls the fan. So, at this point we don't know how to resolve this problem.
