THE AUTO LIFT GATE OPENS ON ITS OWN. WE JUST BOUGHT THIS IN JULY AND HAVE FOUND IT OPENED ON AT LEAST 4 OCCASIONS. ONCE OUTSIDE AND THE OTHER TIMES IN THE GARAGE.
