full bulletin at NHTSA ↗During replacement of the electronic power assist system (EPAS) steering gear assembly on 2015-2023 Mustang vehicles, removal and replacement of the inner tie rods and bellows boots is required. To assist engineering with root cause analysis of failed steering gears, include these parts in the same package when returning warranty replacement steering gears. Make sure to avoid damage to the bellows boots or inner tie rods during removal. The steering gear should also be packaged in the original box with all protective insulators in place to properly protect it during shipping.

This may be due to an incorrectly installed upper spring seat which is part of the front strut assembly. To correct this condition, remove the suspect strut(s) from the vehicle and inspect the upper spring seat for damage and/or incorrect installation and repair as necessary. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 204-01. For claiming, use casual part 18124 and the applicable labor operations of Section 03 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

The lane assist kept pulling to the right when the lane markings were unclear. Entering highway, lanes go from 2 to 1. We were merging when a car tried to merge into us. We moved over to the right and the lane assist pulled us into a curb. We ended up in a roll over accident and NO air bags opened or went off.
