On september 10, 2025 the transmission failed for the 3rd time without warning. This transmission only lasted about 5,500 miles. When it fails, it simply does so without warning. While driving it wll start shuddering and when you stop it just wont go after that. Gm knows there is an issue with these 9 speed transmissions because they are on backorder and my vehicle has been in the shop for over two months waiting on parts. Since this is the 3rd failed transmission under warranty, I created a complaintwith gm and requested a buy back but they refused.

I am writing to inform the appropriate authorities of the issues that I’ve continually had with my 2023 Chevrolet Blazer. It has come to my attention that the aforementioned vehicle will need a new transmission and possible engine repair currently totaling at just over 6,000 dollars in repair costs. When I was provided with the total repair cost I was informed by the certified service representative that this was a common issue for the Blazer model and that GM was aware of the ongoing issue. I’ve reached out to GM with my concerns regarding this vehicle and the fact that this is an issue that has in prior dates prompted recalls for blazer models from the year 2020-2024. I have because of the transmission defects/ failures been stranded and unable to shift gears required for proper motion o

Since I’ve got the vehicle i experienced issues with it not going in drive or reverse sporadically. I was air to obtain this in video and show it to the dealer for the first time Dec 2023. In addition and overtime it’s seems this issue may go hand and hand with the lane assist issue that had been known on Chevy models where they either don’t work of they don’t recognize the lanes correctly and they pull although your in the correct lane.i have specifically taken the car in on 3 or more occasions about it disengaging and not driving forward or backwards. More recently it started to seem as if while u was actually driving the car did not want to accelerate forward and then while trying to accelerate the steering wheel pulled and caused the car to spin out of control on the freeway. "I am the owner of a 2023 Chevrolet Blazer RS. The digital odometer and speedometer screen intermittently crashes and goes completely black for 15 to 20 seconds while the vehicle is in motion on public roads. This creates an immediate safety hazard as I am left with zero knowledge of my current speed. General Motors has acknowledged this specific software stability bug under Technical Service Bulletin 22-NA-023 but refuses to fix the issue due to the vehicle being 9 days past its 3-year calendar warranty, despite having only 32,400 miles." I contacted your GM agent @ 800-222-1020 and was told its out of warranty sorry, that is horrible service espeacially for a safety issue and a 55,000 vechicle that only has 32,400 miles

While my wife was pulling into park the car and pressing the brake, the car all of a sudden accelerated into the building. Pressing the brake failed to stop the car. No person was in the way of the car so no one other than my wife was at risk of injury. The problem has not been reproduced since the car was totaled. The car was inspected by the insurance for loss but that was it. Police and manufacturer have not inspected the car. No warnings were presented prior to the accident.

I purchased this car in May 2023.Since day 1 one the car stalls after filling and out of nowhere. Can be sitting still or going down the highway and highway sped. I took it on snd they could not find anything. Was told to keep track of when it happens. After almost being rear ended several tons and being put in extreme safety I called them and took it back in . They have now had since 9/21/2023 saying they’re some kid of valve problem in the gas tank. So I am paying for a brand new car that is unsafe to drive and is at the dealer for who knows how long .
