There have been other issues as well however those are the most alarming as they directly effect the safety of the driver and passengers and the inappropriate auto braking engagement could cause injury or death to the trucks occupants as well as drivers around them. Driving down a 35 mph road. No traffic ahead of me or behind me . vehicle suddenly slammed on the brakes as if it detected something in front of me. Was unable to give the vehicle gas until it was done braking to nearly 0 mph. Luckily no vehicles behind me or it could have caused an accident

1. Other: Turn signal - when turning right with the signal activated, once you straighten the wheel, the turn signal stalk will reset to the middle but will activate the left turn signal. 2. Adaptive cruise control - For no reason the brakes will activate, there is no vehicle in front and the windshield is clean. 3. Blind spot warning - These BSW indicators will go off at random with no vehicles beside mine. This occurs more at night, but does happen during the day. When this happens at night the yellow indicator is so bright that you cannot even see what might (or is not) in your blind spot. This faulty indicator is going to get someone hurt as other drivers with the same issue might over correct.

While the vehicle is in motion, And listening to XM radio, every commercial that comes on generates a banner flag across the speedometer screen. This is very distracting. It tends to draw the drivers’ eye from the road to the screen. Only problems with the vehicles operation should warrant such an action. This is an unnessasary action being that the radio screen displays the same information 10” away, out of the direct eye line of the driver, not to mention that I can hear the said commercial, I don’t need a visual que of the fact flashed on the speedometer. I was told there was a setting to turn off the “RDS”, which I was told was on page 114 of the owner’s manual ( not included in the vehicle), available for download to my phone. Unknown. Driving down the hiway the comes to sudden stop when the forward collision is on when nobody is in front of me. Almost got rear ended by a transport truck

While driving the blindside indicators will come on when nothing is there. The window switches and door lock button on the driver side door will not work when the blindside indicators are on. Also the light on the door lock button turns on and off randomly when the indicators are on with nothing there. The doorlock button on the front driver side door didn't work when the truck was in park. Haven't noticed if the windows and doorlock button don't work when the indicators are not on. Andriod Auto wouldn't connect wireless and has been till now.

On [XXX], I discovered that the backup camera on my 2023 Chevy Colorado was malfunctioning. Regardless of whether I was operating the vehicle in reverse or manually activating the backup camera, it remained inoperable. On the same day, I made a reservation with my local Chevrolet dealership in Elko, Nevada, to have the backup camera inspected. I took the truck to the dealership on July 19 for a repair under warranty. Side object sensors go off frequently when no vehicles are there on both sides of vehicle. Additionally when passing vehicles the side object sensors only detect vehicles about 40% of the time. The side object sensors will double flash when no vehicles are there and fight me when changing lanes when lane assist is on. I have video of the false alerts and non detection incidents.

Anti-theft alarm keeps going off at random points of the day. Nobody is near vehicle when this goes off and all doors are constantly reclosed to ensure everything is shut properly. Alarm continues to go off.

Forward collision braking activated for no reason and will hard brake. Has done it in the middle of an empty parking lot as well as when driving 65 MPH down the highway, twice. No major injuries happened either time other then sore necks and seatbelt marks. On 2 incidents only the driver was in the vehicle, the other incident consisted of the driver, front seat passenger and 2 children in the back seat. The vehicle has been inspected by dealership. The vehicle now has brake and router problems, which the dealership has said is from hard braking. The vehicle has a bad vibration when applying the brakes.

When you have your foot on the break engine running within about 5 mins the breaks release for a second all the light on the dashboard kick on then the breaks feel spongy, you have to then turn the truck off the computer resets check engine light will still remain but the breaks will now be functional again. When taking it to the dealer they stated there was a software recall and they reset the light called it a day.

Bought car on 10/28/23 and as I was leaving the dealership, I applied the brake and the pedal went to the floor. An error code came up "Brake System Failure". The truck was immediately brought back to the service department. 10/31/23- Capital Chevrolet service department checked the error and deemed the vehicle was safe to drive. 11/8/23-I was turning right on a main road and moved into the far left lane to turn left at a red light. I believe this is because the turn signal stalk 'bounces' down to the left turn signal area when returning back to normal position from a right turn.​ ​ This is a safety issue because the vehicle is signaling a left turn when no turn is intended. This could cause confusion to other drivers on the road.​ I have taken it to my dealer who attempted 3 times to fix with no success. It's a common issue that GM has not addressed for a long time now.

When trailer is plugged in Left Turn Signal cannot be found by Trailer Light Test via onboard diagnostics. Left turn signal function correctly when trailer is not connect. When trailer is connected left turn signal flashes rapidly.
