Radar structed ,blind spot off,brake system light on

Auto stop/start struggles to start at lights or stopped traffic, rough idles and has already killed 1 battery, replaced under warranty and I'm having to charge my new one already since my car struggles to cold start sometimes! Incredibly stressful having 5 kids and 1car I spent a fortune on so it would last forever and it's a lemon I'm holding my breath doesn't strand us any time I have to break.

Around Dec 2024, the central control screen started blacking out. At first, it would black out and then the screen will come back on randomly. We took the car to Tempe Honda service center, and the technician was able to reproduce the problem, and it's covered under warranty. However, they had to order, but they didn't anticipate that it would be in back order. A couple months later, we checked on the status and found out that it was on back order and there is only one manufacturer, so it could take a few more months. We kept on calling to check on the status, and the anticipated back-fill date kept on pushing out. Finally, the screen went completed black and wouldn't come back around Aug 2025. We called Tempe Honda, and the service manager suggested us to call American Honda Motor. We did

Twice while at a stop light, when the car was in Auto Idle Stop, it suddenly shut down completely. There was no power on the dashboard. I couldn't even turn on the hazard lights. The first time, this lasted several minutes, the second time, a few seconds. After this time, the electronics spontaneously came back up and I was able to restart the engine.

Our auto idle randomly will shut the entire van off. Leaving us stranded without being able to go for 15-30 seconds until we can get It restarted. There has been no warnings or codes thrown Early on it has been unable to reproduce for them when at the dealership It has been to dealership numerous times because it’s a scary safety issue with cars usually behind us honking, yelling, and holding up a finger. They did try update some software the most recent time which was unsuccessful. Now they want to put a new starter and relay and engine valve adjustment. Leaving me with the bill for something that happened in warranty since they can’t replicate it within a few minutes

Yesterday we were in our minvan (I had not entered yet and was standing outside the fornt passenger door but wife, children, and dog were inside. My daughter mashed the button to close the power sliding door on the right side of the van but did not notice that the dogs tail was wagging near the door entrance. All of a sudden I heard loud screaming and I opened the door on the right side. She was bleeding and in tears and said that the power door had closed on our dog's tail. I am a physician so I provided first aid. My concern is that when we bought the van we aksed about the power doors because we were concerned about them possibly closing on someone or something since they can be closed by multiple passengers. THIS RECALL INVOLVES DISASSEMBLING MUCH OF THE INTERIOR TO REPLACE THESE DEFECTIVE COMMUNICATION CABLES. TO DO IT CORRECTLY AND REASSEMBLE THE VEHICLE CORRECTLY THE WORK COULD TAKE 8 HOURS OR MORE. The front right sensor goes off randomly. Sometimes all day long for days, then nothing for a week or 2 then back to it. Various lengths of time, usually stressfully long times, with nothing aroundcausing stress and making fucus hard. It started a few months after getting the van. We cleaned it, had the dealer inspect it and no one has ever figured out why we have to live with this blaring warning alarm. The dash says object warning with it and if i close that out nothing stops the alarm but putting it in park which I can't do on the interstate or in pickup line at school

The present complaint alleges as follows: 1. Honda has a defective design in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) of all Honda Odysseys, models 2018-2023. 2. Namely, Honda has placed the RADAR behind the large HONDA emblem on the front grille. This causes the radar to give a "RADAR OBSTRUCTED" warning, which disables all Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in the car (Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning). 3. The "RADAR OBSTRUCTED" warning cannot be reset by restarting the vehicle or disconnecting the battery, requiring recalibration of the RADAR at the cost of $800 each time since it takes several hours to do (per Dealership). 4. The official Honda Odyssey Forum online has countless complaints on the same issue without resolution by Honda

The straps for the car seat do not secure and are easily untightened. The issue is solely with the Nuna Rava car seat and not the vehicle. My 1 year old was completely unstrapped after driving because he was playing with the straps. After investigating I found I could easily untighten the straps with one hand without pushing the button to release the tension on the straps. Food debris got underneath the strap and was preventing the mechanism on the button from keeping tension on the straps, rendering the car seat useless. My wife called the manufacturer twice and left voicemails but has not been contacted back, I searched the internet and found multiple cases of this and the fix. I have videos showcasing this, but they are too large to upload.

Forward Collision Warning in conjunction with Emergency Braking have major safety issues that need to be addressed. 1st occurance: Driving through a construction zone through cones for lane realignment, van suddenly applied brakes in heavy traffic despite no obstacles in vans path. Vehicle quickly recovered. 2nd occurance: Driving on a dark street, van heavily applied brakes despite no obstacles. The braking occurred rapidly and van nearly came to a stop. Attempted to press harder on gas to override system with zero results. Had I been on a busier street, it would have resulted in a vehicle crash. This is a major safety issues that needs to be addressed by Honda with a recall.

I have a 2023 Honda Odyssey van. The van has been modified for me to drive from my wheelchair. The steering wheel has been locking up eight times when driving. It won’t out let me go straight or turn left or right. This happens when I come to a stop. It happened twice when driving. The wheelchair modifications company southern mobility said they fixed many times but it still have the steering wheel lock up. Now they are telling me it’s the Honda’s fault. Honda said it’s the van modification fault. Honda said they can look at it for $150 a hour. I am very frustrated and very concerned. The contact owns a 2023 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated while driving at 60 MPH and attempting to make a left turn, there was an abnormal clicking noise coming from the vehicle. The contact mentioned the failure would be present when making a left turn when driving at any speed. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer on several occasions where the failure was not determined due to being unable to be replicated. On a most recent occasion, the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that the driver-side strut failed and as a result both the driver and passenger side struts needed replacement. The steering wheel makes a noise when turning, you can also feel the steering wheel popping/clunking when going into turns with bumps. There was a recall for the Honda Odyssey back in March of 2024 for this issue but my vehicle was not part of it, however I believe the issue lies with the steering gear box/steering column. I have taken my vehicle into Honda 6 times (5 times attached and currently it is there) and have not been able to get anywhere, they lubricated the steering shaft which alleviated the noise but 6 months later it came back. This noise started back in January of 2023.

The vehicle makes a whistling sound form the front of the vehicle, while on a road trip the windshield got foggy and the defroster was not able to clear the windshield due to what I believe is an air leak from the windshield, that’s also causing the whistling.

vehicle makes noise at low speed when turning at inclined or passing over speed bump. i went 4 different dealers regarding this problem but they can not figure out the problem. first, dealership said nothing wrong with vehicle. then i took van to different dealer and they replaced front driver side strut. after few days started hearing noise again. so i took van to different dealership and they retorque sub frame bolt and said problem is fixed. again, i heard the noise next day so i took it dealership again. after looking at vehicle, they concluded that bushing is making noise but they refused to replace it. i have looked at Honda odyssey forum and Redditt, it is known problem with Honda odyssey and they are unable to fix the problem.
