I am reporting suspected odometer fraud and misreported mileage/VIN/title data by Greenway Kia North (Longwood, FL) involving my 2024 Kia EV6 GT-Line (VIN: [XXX] ) and my 2017 Audi Q5 trade-in. These actions appear to violate the Federal Odometer Act (49 U.S.C. § 32705 and 327 and Florida title/odometer laws. After attempts to resolve the matter, I issued a rescission and statutory-demand notice on Nov. 8; the dealer provided no adequate response. Title/Registration Misrepresentation: My Audi Q5 (dark blue) was submitted to FLHSMV as “Monsoon Gray.” The EV6 (Aurora Black Pearl) was submitted as “Blue.” I verbally corrected both errors at signing; the dealer ignored them, and the false data was transmitted to the State and later reported through Carfax. This indicates intentional or reckles

The exterior rear-view mirrors on my car do not have detents to hold them in place in the deployed position. All side-view mirrors have such detents. The mirror assembly is held in place such that the mirrors remain aimed where the driver sets them. If the mirror experiences a significant force from, say a person walking into them, the detent releases and the mirror folds back against the car, avoiding damage. On my car and other affected cars, these detents are not present and the force of closing the car doors, wind from high-speed driving, or even a bumpy road can cause the mirrors to move from their intended position, causing the driver to misjudge the position of other vehicles, an obvious safety hazard. When I stopped the car in a parking lot, before I could engage the parking brake, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and climbed over the curb adjacent to the side walk. Stopped for few seconds and again suddently started accelerating. I could not stop the car as the brake appeared to be disenaged completely and was going all the way to the floor. The car went on the side walk, and descended on the road from the side walk and crossed the road, climbed on the curb again and stopped on the grassy area. Side airbag on the driver side inflated and the drive seatbelt tightened.
Brakes failed with unintened acceleration. We were stopped behind a truck at a stoplight when the the vehicle accelerated with a foot on the brake. We had it towed from the scene of the accident to our local dealership for testing. They had the vehicle for 4 weeks. Kia customer care was not responsive to our calls and emails or the dealerships. The dealership could not confirm the cause without their cooperation. The police were called to the scene of the accident and there is a report. The vehicle has been looked over by the service department at our local Kia lot. It was appraised for cost of damages by the collision center.
There is a safety issue with the specific implementation of the regenerative braking system when the car is put into reverse that I have experienced on several occasions. This is not a failure or malfunction of the system as it is working as intended nor are there any warning messages or alerts to signify a defect. The way Kia's system works is that regenerative braking is always on (like all EVs), but at a level you set from 1-4, with 4 being the most aggressive. I leave it on level 4(i-pedal) because I prefer one-pedal driving which I find to be more comfortable and safer. When the car is parked, or at a complete stop, if I put the car into reverse then the regenerative braking level is forced down to level 3. This creates a novel situation where regenerative braking is holding the parke

I've had to have my rental car jumped 3 times now, the check engine light has been on since I rented it, had to be reset and is now back on. I believe it's the 12v battery, it pops up warnings of battery discharge almost daily. All 3 times it was shut off and when I went to start it, it wouldn't turn on, 3 seperate people have jumped it for me now in 3 different locations, the last one being while I was working and had to end the delivery because my car would not start so I am now unable to work as they have paused my deliveries until my account is reviewed. I am putting the first date I noticed the check engine light, which was the day I rented the vehicle. The not starting has happened on the following dates: [XXX], [XXX] and today [XXX]. I recall noticing the battery discharge warning f
Multiple times the 12V battery has died without warning. Once in driveway while engine was charged to 93%, once while parked at work parking lot at charging station. Both times the car had to be jumped by AAA and driven to the dealership where it sat for 7 days each time with NO diagnosis, no loaner, no rental, and no transport. Finally after the second time, the dealership replaced the 12V battery but still did not give any diagnosis whether this was the ICCU or not. I have complained to KIA Motor Corporation who have advanced my complaint however they have eventually dismissed my complaint. They cannot answer me whether they believe this car is safe. They cannot stand by the safety of this car. They have not acknowledged that this is a safety problem and that other motorists have had
Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/LOW VOLTAGE BATTERY, PROPULSION system:Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) Description: This vehicle previously had the mandated safety recall software update (Campaign SC327) applied by an authorized Kia dealership in December 2024 to protect the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU). The corporate recall remedy failed. In January 2026, the vehicle suffered a sudden, catastrophic loss of motive power while driving on a public roadway due to a total ICCU failure, which created an immediate hazard for myself and my young child who was inside the vehicle. When the primary ICCU component failed, it starved the low-voltage system, causing severe deep-discharge damage to the 12V battery. Following the warranty repair of the ICCU in February 2026, the veh
I had an ICCU failure on 4/12/26. I was fortunate enough to be close to home, so I was able to get back home before the vehicle dropped into reduced power mode. As has been reported many other places, I heard a loud pop and moments later a number or warning messages came up on the display. It was towed to the dealer the following day and has been confirmed to be an ICCU failure.

ICCU failed. Heard a popping sound from rear of passenger compartment, dash errors lit up, car went to limp mode
Description of Incident: 1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The high-voltage battery system and charging system in my 2024 Kia EV6 malfunctioned. Despite showing 40 miles of range remaining, the battery suddenly dropped to 5 miles before the car became completely unresponsive and failed to charge. Additionally, the vehicle could not be shifted into neutral or powered on. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The sudden loss of battery range left me stranded at a Shell Recharge station in Elkridge, MD, at [XXX] on[XXX]. Being stranded at this hour posed a personal safety risk, especially in an unfamiliar area, as I was unable to move the vehicle.
2024 Kia EV6 leased January 2025. Vehicle is subject to NHTSA Recall 24V-867 / Kia campaign SC327 for the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU). The recall remedy was performed at an authorized Kia dealer in July 2025 (software / operational logic update). The defect was not cured. Three months after the recall remedy was performed, the vehicle suffered complete loss of electrical power and would not move. It was towed to the Kia dealer. The dealer's own diagnostic recorded code P1A9096 — the exact diagnostic code Kia's recall instructs technicians to check for — and replaced the ICCU and high-voltage fuse. This is the recall-defined failure occurring AFTER the recall remedy was applied. Approximately three months later, the vehicle again suffered total loss of power and would not start

I was driving on the freeway steady at 72mph and the car suddenly accelerated on its own. It hit 90 within seconds and I had to step on the break for the car to slow down.
In NORMAL driving mode, when I fully depressed the acceleration and quickly release, the vehicle continues accelerating . I almost crashed into the car in front of me in stop and go traffic.

Kia has a known ICCU issue with several of their electric vehicles. Mine went out yesterday creating an extremely dangerous situation on the road. After it blew, I lost the ability to accelerate or steer. This was obviously very scary for me and the drivers around me. I feel very lucky to have not been hit by another car. Although Kia is replacing these, this does not guarantee a fix. That is to say, the ICCU has the potential to blow again after replaced because the core issue is not something that Kia group has reengineered. I should not have to fear getting into my vehicle and wonder if it will blow again. I hope the government steps in and conducts an investigation into this. It’s only a matter of time before someone, unfortunately, will lose a life over this.
brakes 1 complaint shown
While driving in the rain, the vehicle failed to decelerate and brake efficiently. There were two event this morning (12/18/24). 1. Approaching a red light with Regen braking set to lvl 3 the car failed to slow after removing my foot from the accelerator. Quickly i began applying braking force with the brake pedal, but there was no change in the vehicles speed. Finally I firmly forced the brake pedal to the floor and the car came to a quick stop with ABS kicking in. Thinking that some of the sensors may have been affected by the wet road conditions, i disabled regen/ self braking. 2. With regen set to zero I began approaching slower traffic in a bend on the highway. When i saw brake lights ahead i began to brake and the pedal did not respond. It wasn't firm, nor soft just "regular". Knowin

When washing my car at an automated car wash my brakes failed when exiting the facility. When the wash was completed it gave me the approval to leave. I tapped on the gas pedal to get the car moving slowly. The car started to move down the ramp and when I applied the brakes there was no response. I pumped the brakes several times but they did not engage. I tried to hit the parking brake and shift into reverse and nothing happened. I finally had no choice but to hit a wall to keep from hitting a vehicle. I did contact the dealership and they were non responsive. They indicated they had never heard of a wet brake issue on this vehicle. I provided them with several statements from the EV6 Forum. My vehicle had less than 600 miles on the odometer.

The contact owned a 2024 Kia EV6 and stated that while driving at 40 MPH, an elk suddenly appeared in front of the vehicle, resulting in a head-on collision that completely crushed the front end of the vehicle with no air bags deployed. The front end of the vehicle was crushed including the windshield. The vehicle continued with the elk after collision dragging it a couple yards ahead. The air bags did not apply. No waring lights were illuminated. No police report was filed. The contact was the only passenger during the collision. The contact suffered a sever neck issue and is not able to move his neck to the right, has chest pain and shoulder pain on both sides, and a head injury. Medical treatment is need but has not gotten any due to insurance issues. The dealer was notified of the fai
