Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024 Nautilus vehicles
A blank instrument display can result in a loss of critical safety information, such as the speedometer and warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash. In addition, a missing rearview camera display image can reduce visibility of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: The multimedia module system software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25C21.

Monitor the BCM alarm event parameter identifications (PID). If ALARM_EVT_1/2/3/4 show a value of "Interior Motion Detected", reprogram the BCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal 15604 and labor operations 12651D and BCM. If ALARM_EVT_1/2/3/4 does not show a value of "Interior Motion Detected", refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-01A > Diagnosis and Testing > Pinpoint Test E (False Alarm Activation) for normal diagnostics and repair as necessary outside of
Some 2024-2026 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit a "Door Fault Service Required", "Transmission Not In Park" and/or "Hill Start Assist Not Available" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1262:92 stored in multiple door latch control modules (DCME, DCMF, DCMG, and/or DCMH). DTC U0504 may also be stored in the gearshift module (GSM). This may be due to the software in the door latch control modules. To correct this condition, download and run the following applications using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. Some 2024-2026 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit a condition where the intrusion alarm will activate without an external source. This may be due to software in the body control module (BCM). Reprogramming or replacing the BCM or intrusion sensor may not resolve this condition. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q3 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.
Some 20242026 Nautilus vehicles may have previously exhibited unsuccessful programmable module installation (PMI) starting with a CallGetRestore Invalid hardware error message, when using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) to program a new door latch control module E (DCME), door latch control module F (DCMF), door latch control module G (DCMG), and/or door latch control module H (DCMH). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B may also be stored in the door latch control module. The programming concern has been corrected.
