2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee owner complaints

I recently had recall work done. I picked the vehicle up on December 23, 2025, and the vehicle is not charging properly or driving well. When plugged into the level 2 charger it took 10 plus hours to charge when it used to take 2.5 hours to charge. The vehicle is also not driving well now. As soon as you take your foot off the gas it’s almost like a major brake is being applied. It’s not safe to drive this way. I have contacted the dealer and will take it back on Monday, December 29, 2025.

This recalled vehicle cannot be driven safely. No remedy is available. I am paying for a lease. I cannot use and requesting federal assistance for a lease termination or replacement..

I leased this new vehicle in July 2025. had it for a month and it wouldn't start. Premier Jeep in Hyannis, MA 02601 said it was the start/stop battery and replaced it. a month later the car experienced an system failure and the car put the parking brake on and put the car in park and shut it off WHILE I WAS IN TRAFFIC! this time the dealer service said it was the lift gate mechanism and the on/off/start button. these have been replaced. each incident resulted in the vehicle spending a week in the shop. I asked for a loaner but none available both times. now the car is back in the repair shop because when I get in to start it it turns itself off right away. no loaner car was offered. I have no car now AGAIN!

Suddden engine stalls/electrical shutdown while in motion, causing total loss of power steering and power Other incidents of while traveling at 65-70 mph on the interstate the vehicle suddenly suffered a power failure and dropped into a dangerously low gear at low speed. The current recall with loss of propulsion occurred in my vehicle on 10/16/2025 at 5:10pm while I was on the highway during rush hour. Thankfully I didn’t get injured, this is so dangerous. I’m afraid to drive this vehicle in fear of it occurring again.

Driving on freeway and Service 4WD light came on. Upon reaching destination, parking brake automatically engaged for unknown reason.

Car cut off while driving, again. Full dashboard started to flash, warnings, stated that there was no battery, no gas. I was stopped in traffic and managed to pull over and had restart the car. This is the second time that it has cut off while driving . The first time my toddler son was in the car in morning traffic and it cut off. This is an extreme safety hazard for myself, my family and others driving. The entire system failed. It was supposedly fixed before but the problem is still there.

The car has a strange thump when driving around 70-75. This is always and the dealer says it’s normal, which is not true! The vehicle experiences severe drivetrain binding, mechanical clunking, and erratic 4WD electronic timing failure while operating at normal driving speeds. During acceleration (27–28 mph, transitioning from D4 to D5 gear), the automatic 4WD transfer case / front axle disengages abruptly under load, causing an audible mechanical clunk and drive-line shock. During deceleration (31 mph down to 15 mph, downshifting from D6 to D4 gear), the 4WD system forces a re-engagement of the front axle, creating a heavy binding shock and severe mechanical clunk. This uncommanded electronic engagement and disengagement failure creates vehicle hesitation, drivetrain binding, and a potential loss-of-control hazard while driving. The issue is available for inspection and has been documented on video.

I purchased a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo earlier this year. The salesman told me that the fuel cover locks when the doors are locked, but the cover does not lock. I sent an email to Stallantis, the corporation to Jeep and inquired about this. They replied that all 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokees should have lock gas covers. A vehicle that does not have a locking mechanism to the gas tank leaves it vulnerable to vandalism. Substances can be inserted into the gas tank that could cause permanent damage to the engine. And since Stellantis indicated that all the these vehicles should have a locking gas mechanism, IT IS CLEARLY A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. I am requesting that you

Had the kids loaded up ready to leave the house. Opened up the drivers door and my youngest pressed her feet on the drivers seat while in her car seat and the back of the seat was lifting up. I then investigated it further only to realize it was missing bolts.

2025 Grand Cherokee Laredo Drivers side B pillar is making a creaking sound and popping noise that started now and again and then became more consistent. We have had it at the dealer under warranty currently and they have had the car more than my wife and I. three attempts made and still no permanent fix, though they have replaced the door striker and the manager said welds looked good but still it does not sound right. The passenger B pillar makes no noise at all. Jeep HQ Corporate office under customer service has been contacted twice now. Old case 9749-9837 and new case 9842-0468. I have notified the service manager at the shop and will be contacting them for an appointment for a fourth attempt to get this resolved before filing possible lemon law form.

I was driving on the highway when the sunroof on my JGC exploded. I checked for a debris, ie rock, stick, inside the cabin and found none. There was no other damage to the auto other than the sunroof.

I was driving down the rode going 30 miles per hour and my vehicle turned off. I lost all power.

1).While driving the message shows up: Vehicle is not in park. Then the motor shuts off (at any speed). This happened several times (I was on my way to take my wife to chemo infusions)! This is very dangerous when driving and caused almost an accident on the highway!!! 2), When turning the motor on, the seat moves into the pre-set drivers position, then moves back again and then the motor shots off. The car can't be driven then for a few minutes.
