First time I noticed the crack on top passenger side of the windshield was on 9/12/25 while taking a break from work in my car. Car mileage on 9/12/25 was 1892 miles Upon inspection of windshield, I found out that crack was felt when I ran my fingernail on the inside, and when trying to feel the crack from the outside, windshield felt smooth and without any indication of cracking. I would like to attest that this vehicle has been kept in a garage since its purchase. I also would like to add that there has not been debris of any kind hitting the windshield while driving it, hence the crack being felt only from the inside. I have taken the car to the dealership today and I have an appointment for further inspection on 9/24/25

I was driving to Castle Rock, CO from Parkville, MO on [XXX] for vacation. I used the heated seat feature off and on during the trip. When I arrived in CO at my destination I noticed my thighs were hurting- stinging and hot. I checked my thighs and saw they were red and blisters were forming. The automatic emergency braking in this vehicle is faulty. It misinterprets obstacles and uses the emergency braking inconsistently. I park in a parking garage and I have to slowly (less than 5 MPH) drive up any ramps because it apparently sees the ceiling of the garage as a obstacle and as a result, will randomly brake with no notice (which feels like getting rear ended). The dealer said it is working as designed and said I can turn this function off, but I have to turn it off every time I start the car. I also updated the sensitivity t the lowest setting, which didn’t help. I’m worried about this issue happening when I’m in traffic or bad weather and what might occur, like an accident. I’ve talked with other users of this same vehicle and they have ran into similar issues. Based on my ex

When using adaptive cruise control, during SOME cornering, SOMETIMES the car brakes unexpectedly, very aggressively, without warning. Very dangerous, especially when another car is behind you.

Brake booster failure in less than two years of ownership. It seems to be an issue with A LOT of these models. Very unsafe to have any brake failure

I previously reported the auto breaking system would slam on breaks prematurely. Now it was a factor in an accident where the Mazda CX-50 was rear-ended by a Ram 2500 truck at full speed on the highway. Car is incompaitated and I have suffered injuries.

I brought my vehicle to Safford Mazda of Fredericksburg on Monday, December 15, 2025 due to a front-end clunking that occurs during left or right turns. A service representative test-drove the vehicle with me and was able to hear and duplicate the noise. Shortly afterward, I was informed that the front axle has internal damage and that the vehicle would need to be retained by the dealership for repair. I was told the necessary parts would not be available until sometime in February 2026. The dealership retained possession of the vehicle and arranged a loaner vehicle for my use. The service manager declined to provide written documentation stating that the car was unsafe to drive or describing potential consequences of continued operation. However, the vehicle was not released back to

On three separate occasions, while in reverse backing out of my driveway, the car failed to engage the transmission when shifting into drive, acting like it was in neutral. There were no warning lights or messages on the dashboard. The only way that I found to engage the transmission was to turn off the vehicle, turn back on, and move selector to drive. This is a safety issue as I've had cars approaching in both directions with the CX-50 behing immobilized and not able to move out of the roadway.

I bought the car new from Mazda in December, 2024, and I am the original owner of the car. I backed out of a parking space. I shifted my gear to D, but the car kept sliding backward. I quickly shifted the gear back to P, pressed the parking brake, and turned off my engine. I had to restart my engine several times before the car will drive forward in D. This incident happened twice already.

The drivers side inside door handle has quit working twice. The dealer has temporarily fixed it both times, but advised us to "just be more gentle with the handle". The cable is falling off of the door hinge inside the door, and the dealer claims they don't have a way to permanently fix it. They just put it back on its mount. We are afraid that the driver will not be able to escape the vehicle in an emergency. Both instances have been under 10,000 miles. The door handle works perfectly fine until it doesn't work at all. No warning given.

The factory adhesive/anti-flutter sealant that bonds the outer hood skin to the inner structural frame has physically separated. There is a clear gap where the outer panel is no longer attached to the frame. As a result, the outer hood skin flexes and vibrates, especially at highway speeds. Impact / Safety Concern: The vibration and movement of the outer hood panel occurs directly in the driver’s forward line of sight. This creates a visible distraction while driving and can draw attention away from the road. Because the outer skin is no longer properly bonded to the structure, the condition is progressive and may worsen over time. Dealer Response: I documented the adhesive separation on the work order. The service advisor lowered the hood insulation and photographed the panel separation.

I am reporting a potential safety-related defect involving premature axle failure on Mazda CX-50 vehicles. The axle appears to be prone to early failure under normal driving conditions, sometimes at relatively low mileage. There are multiple reports from other Mazda CX-50 owners describing similar axle or CV axle failures, including clicking noises, vibration, loss of power to the wheels, and complete axle failure. These reports are publicly documented on online owner forums and Reddit, suggesting a pattern rather than isolated incidents. Axle failure can result in sudden loss of propulsion and may increase the risk of a crash, especially at highway speeds or during turns. This appears to be a design or durability issue rather than normal wear and tear. I am concerned this defect affect

The vehicle was traveling at highway speeds when it experienced a sudden, violent lateral jerk to the side, causing immediate side-curtain/seat airbag deployment prior to impacting the center divide. I believe there was a sudden, catastrophic mechanical failure of the front suspension componants causing a partial detachment of the front driver's side wheel. This failure mirrors the exact defect described in NHTSA Campaign 24V834000 / Mazda Recall 7925J regarding un-torqued front suspension fasteners. We believe our vehicle suffered from this exact factory build issue despite falling outside the initial recalled VIN list. Insurance claim to follow.

"My 2025 Mazda CX-50 began overheating while still under the factory warranty. During one incident, the engine lost coolant and overheated. I immediately shut the engine off to prevent damage. The vehicle continues to overheat, and the air conditioning only cools properly while the vehicle is moving. When stopped or idling, the A/C stops cooling. I have reported the issue to my Mazda dealer and opened Mazda Customer Experience Case Number 00473077. The problem remains unresolved despite multiple attempts to obtain assistance. I am concerned this condition presents a safety risk." "The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Mazda dealership on two separate occasions. While driving my 2025 Mazda CX-50, the entire center-dash climate control panel (HVAC module) suffered a sudden, spontaneous, and total electrical power blackout. The unit completely loses power and goes dark exactly as if the power button was pressed. This is a recurring failure that occurs after only a few minutes of vehicle operation. This electrical failure immediately cuts all airflow and A/C cooling to the cabin. The unit can temporarily be turned back on manually, only to black out and fail completely again minutes later. This represents my second consecutive modern Mazda vehicle to experience an early-mileage HVAC hardware/electrical failure (previously a CX-30), indicating a dangerous, recurring manufacturing defect in Mazda’s electrical/climate control architecture that requires

No cars in front of us. 2) Driving on the expressway with the cruise control on. Driving 75 miles an hour and the vehicle goes to 30 miles an hour and I have to accelerate. Thank the Lord no one was behind me. This has happened 3 times. I took it into Mazda and tool them the issue but they just did their regular maintenance on my car.
