The contact owns a 2025 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster went blank, failing to display pertinent vehicle information. Afterwards, the message that the MIL was not functioning properly was displayed. No warning lights were illuminated. Our 2025 Ram 2500 was purchased new in March 2026 with 41 miles. It had 17,254 miles on October 19. Instrument cluster would not turn on in the truck. I turned truck off 2 times and would not power on. I was unable to tell Speed, Fuel level, DEF level or any warning indicator that would have pop up if there was an issue with the truck. Once I made it to my destination came back 15 minutes later the cluster started working again.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that during rainfall and car washes, water entered the vehicle cabin and caused electrical short circuits. The water intrusion caused failure of the high beam headlights, Lane Assist malfunction, Drowsy Driver system deactivation, and Emergency Automatic Braking System malfunction. Drove down a paved road in the legal speed limit (30mph). Hit a bump in the pavement and the dash had large amounts of disabled codes popping up: airbag disabled, emergency braking disabled, power steering disabled, blind spots need service, traction control. Brought it to a RAM dealership where they found 6 active and 51 stored DTCs all tied to the communication to the powertrain and safety modules (4wd, power steering, airbags, ABS). The dealer did not have time to fix it, so another dealership said they would fix it if I drove it to them. That second dealer found 3 pulled out wires in the right front fender liner, plug those 3 wires in and works like new. Trailer lights not working properly, the marker lights flash when turn headlights on loss of brake and turn signal lights. Hooked another ram 2500 up and did same then hooked a 2013 ram and a 2021 Yukon up and all lights on trailer worked as it should. Have contacted dealer they are saying they never heard of, then at another dealer they are saying they have 4 rams with this issue and it’s with the trailer module and one was even melted. Saftey issue to me because if I’m driving my camper with my kids in it and we have no proper lighting to avoid being hit or if it melts and causes a vehicle fire

On Sunday, 9/14/25 driving on a 70 MPH interstate highway, pulling a trailer behind the Newly-purchased 2025 truck (only 700 miles on it), the road narrowed down to one lane because of a traffic obstruction and cones. While driving my 2025 RAM 2500, the entire digital dash is intermittently going dark and will stay dark for several minutes, powering back up and functions as it should then goes back out. This presents the possibility for significant hazard potential as all visual indicators for speed etc are lost. The vehicle loses the ability to use turn signals as well as many other functions while this is occurring.

Driving by myself with no load at 12:15 in the afternoon with outside temperature at 80 degrees. Vehicle started to make a large screeching sound coming from engine bay. I pulled over into a parking lot and shut off engine. Vehicle continued to make screeching sound from engine bay; I opened hood to a billowing smoke that smelled like an electrical fire. My new Ram has very soft brakes. Should you keep constant pressure on the brake pedal it will eventually go to the floor. Also, no trailer brakes. Dealer states they can find no problem, and they are working as intended. They are not. Lockhart Texas dealer bled the brakes, with no improvement.

On 11/4/25 Pepboys Tires in Pelham AL installed four new tires on my truck - BF Goodrich K03 tires. After driving 15 miles, the driver rear vehicle wheel and tire detached from the hub. All 8 lugnuts were missing and obviously had not been tightened or torqued to specifications. While Pepboys is performing the repair to my truck at a cost of approximately $2000, they seem uninterested in the risk and danger they are creating with such poor performance and lack of quality controls. They endangered me and everyone that was around me on Hwy 31 when the wheel detached. They need to be held accountable for their poor workmanship and danger to the public. Will not work my brand new camper keeps making light blink when headlights are on and now know lights at all

When turn signal auto-cancels (completion of turn), the opposite side turn signal will SOMETIMES erroneously enable. This can be consistently reproduced when completing a turn (returning wheel to center) quickly. Slow turns do not cause the problem. Took to dealer and showed them how to reproduce... In park, just turn on signal then simulate turning then returning to center quickly. Dealer tested another 2025 on the lot and confirmed same behavior. They told me this is normal behavior. This happens sometimes under normal driving conditions and I'm afraid it confuses cars around me and presents a potential safety issue.
