2025 Toyota Camry owner complaints

There is no way to turn off the features after looking into the manual. While I was driving on the Interstate, my wheel jerked to the right towards the off ramp when I heals it straight. It was fighting me. Another time a bus was pulled to the right in front of me to pick up the people, and my car abruptly braked despite being in the clear and having pushing on my accelerator.But my vehicle jerked into the left lane over the right when I made a right turn from a stop, nearly causing me to be rear ending by traffic. Hi, I bought a new Camry 2025 XSE hybrid from Dan Cava Toyota, Fairmont, WV. The Toyota company says 47 mpg. However, I filled complete tank 3 times and each time the odometer showed estimated 430-440 miles for 13 gallons, which is equal to 34 mpg. As a customer, I feel I am cheated by Toyota company. I bought this Camry only for a better mileage and safety. Please let me know what I should do. Thank you very much. I was driving up a steep driveway inside a parking garage. While turning a corner, the accelerator pedal began pulling away from my foot, and the car started speeding up on its own. I managed to apply the brake to stop the vehicle. I checked to see if there was anything near the pedal, like a mat, but there wasn’t. No indicator lights were on. This is the first time the car has exhibited this issue. The vehicle has not yet been inspected but is available for inspection.

The driver and passenger seats has popping on the back side near the lumbar support. This happens during braking and acceleration. Its a safety concern because it distracts when driving and gives an uncomfortable feeling. Brought to dealership twice and no help into fixing the problem.

Low OIl engine warning comes of day after day, physical oil level is fine but keeps coming on after 2 oil changes dealer claims that it’s a software glitch and Toyota is aware of it..no fix as of yet also claimed vehicle is drivable…. First came on at 20 miles

12 volt battery only charges to 50% of capacity. Dealer says it is normal.

The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Camry. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V595000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Left Headlight Issue - Roadway Shadows This report is based on multiple observations of the car's owner while driving a Toyota Camry hybrid 2025 at night time . At issue is that the left side LED headlight projects fixed black shadows onto to roadway, partially obscuring the driver's view of the roadway while driving. On 2 dealer visits, the dealer found the left headlight misaligned, and reported making adjustments to the left headlight. Despite these adjustments, the car owner continues to observe persistent roadway shadows from the left headlight while driving at night - based on car owner photographs of these projected black shadows, most recent photos on December 5-16, 2025 ( see attached). This reports night-time driving experiences, during which the front left LED headlight projects/creates fixed black “shadow” images onto the roadway in front of the car, partially obscuring the driver’s far left field of view of the roadway. Despite adjustments of the front left headlight by dealer technicians, the left headlight “shadows”, while lessened, are still projected onto the roadway and represent a night time driving safety concern. Dealer technicians made adjustments to the left headlight projection on 2 occasions. (1 the technician reported that there seems to be “bubbles” in the left side headlight projection. Low beam headlights are projected too low and it is difficult to see past ~20ft. Field of vision is significantly decreased (~5ft) on downhills or any significant road slope. No accident has occurred yet but it is very difficult to see ahead in the dark without using high beams; turning on high beams is not appropriate in many situations. Dealership was unable to do anything to align headlights. Potential headlight design flaw such as tolerances or assembly proceedures may have created this problem. This issue is unsafe because low beam light projection provides the driver a field of vision critical for safely driving in the dark. Issue has been present since vehicle purchase in May 25th, 2024.

Loud squeak/squealing sound from inside area of the left front driver side wheel after driving for an extended amount of time (after 4 hours of driving on first observation). The squeaking is intermittent and not always able to reproduce the sound.

While driving the vehicle in high winds, wind and air can be heard entering the cabin near the front of the drivers side door. Multiple heavy gusts of wind caused the car to move into the other lane and had a negative effect on steering the vehicle. Toyota denies there is something wrong with the door seals or design of the vehicle, but this is a safety hazard when driving in high sustained winds of 15MPH or more.

The front bumper of the vehicle is falling off, it seems to be too heavy for the vehicle. I went to the dealership and was informed this is a common reported issue with the 2025 Toyota Camry but as there is no open recall the warranty is unable to provide any assistance. This is a safety hazard and the bumper could fall off during anytime and cause a serious hazard and or accident can occur. I informed the dealership that due to the falling bumper the bottom has scrapped and caused damage and they continued stating there was nothing they could do. lm left with an issue that is dangerous for me and my family.

Low oil warming reading, physical oil level is fine. Dealer claming software glitch issue affecting oil readings, no fix available.

Iwas coming to a stop sign in a supermarket parking lot there was astreet you could either go left or right the car kept rolling across as i put my foot on the brake repeatedly as it did not stop it went up acurb hit a heavy wood fence and stopped before going down a steep embankment the cabin remained fine the back wheels remained in the street the car was totaled also the car would pull to the left once in awhile no auditory sounds went off at any time thus no safety features prevailed

Several times when I have honked my horn on my 2025 Camry SE cruise control has engaged. That is a dangerous situation if I'm trying to avoid a slow vehicle or accident and the vehicle goes into cruise control mode. Not sure what Toyota can do about this as the cruise control buttons are on the right side of the steering wheel behind the horn. Maybe it is overlapping or too close. There are auto braking cruise control options with the Camry but there is also a disengage non control mode that could lead to that accident.

I was T boned and my car is totaled, I have a TBI now along with other medical issues because when I was hit no air bags deployed. If air bags would have been deployed my injuries wouldn’t be so bad . Also it’s Brand new. It’s a 2025. I’m the original owner.

The car was parked in a garage overnight and the windshield cracked without any reason. The temperature was 71 degrees without rain. The car was purchased 10 days prior to the incident and had no previous rock damage or known defects.
