Is there a fix? Manufacturer service bulletins
The manufacturer has issued service bulletins covering electrical on this vehicle — documented repair instructions, service campaigns, or warranty extensions sent to dealers. A TSB isn't a recall (it's not a free safety remedy), but it's the manufacturer acknowledging the issue and how to fix it.
This bulletin provides information on how to identify which high voltage battery repairs can be performed at the retailer level.

Since 2023 starting with the Subaru Solterra and Toyota Bz4 and now in 2026 both companies have 3 models each. Toyota builds all of them for themselves and Subaru. If you do not drive these cars daily the 12 volt batteries go dead. Subaru and Toyota has continuously denied a problem and advises owners to jump it themselves or connect a battery maintainer hoping to sweep this dangerous problem…

This car appears to have a DCM issue and…
