TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD FREESTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLAMP COVERS WERE MADE OF PLASTIC, WHICH CAUSED THE LIGHTS TO BECOME VERY DIM WHEN ACTIVATED. AFTER CLEANING THE HEADLAMP COVERS, THERE WAS A YELLOWISH TINT ON THEM THAT BECAME PERMANENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
